I initially made an appointment for my wife to set up an annual physical, which is covered by our insurance. During this appointment the doctor asked her if she had any questions or other concerns. She mentioned a couple of things she was curious about but they were small and were not the reason she came at all, and she wouldn't have even asked them had she known that she would be billed because it was a now a "sick visit" instead of the "annual physical visit". Poor communication by their staff. Had she known that asking a question at the end of the appointment would cause it to become another type of visit we would be charged for, she would not have asked.
