Food was bland for what it's supposed to be. Had jerk chicken and curried goat. Not impressed by either but have had worse.

The service was prompt and the food was hot and ready. Will definitely be back.

Full review: Don't let the decrepit and rundown look of the plaza fool you. It's too bad Burger World is located in somewhat of a rundown area, and i almost turned around when Google Maps directed me to a nearby shop instead of right in front of the restaurant. However, the customer service is friendly and the burgers are quite good! Greeted by a guy who seemed like the owner, i was pleased with his immediate description that the burgers are grilled fresh, never frozen, and that the fries are hand-cut. My order consisted of two cheeseburger combos (incl. small fries and a small drink) and two bbq burgers, for a total of about $30. Not a bad price for a meal for 4, but the fries were thin, oily, and just okay. The burgers really stand out with fresh ingredients, and it's a shame the fries aren't more robust @ that price point. Besides the fries, this biz could improve on the following: - having a more precise address on Google Maps w/ better signage - Employees who wear masks (esp in these times as the flu and Covid are rampant) - Thicker fries, maybe crinkle cut - Switching from styrofoam containers to paper-based ones (styrofoam is unhealthy & doesn't do these great burgers justice) - An overall cleaner presentation (the counter near the cash register could have been cleaner) - A sturdier carrier for drinks - my two small drinks spilled on the way home. Overall: Definitely recommend. The bbq and cheeseburgers were sooo tasty. Maybe skip the fries and drinks.

They have some menu staples, but a lot of their menu items change seasonally, and they offer weekly specials, so they have a wide range of good options. I loved the vibes, it is definitely a nice, sophisticated spot for dinner or brunch. The staff was also super nice. It took a minute to get a table, but it seemed like they might have been a little understaffed, and it wasn't a big deal. The food is the star of the show here, but they also have a great drink menu with seasonal options, as well as some excellent mocktail options. I tried the butternut squash risotto with salmon, and it was amazing! We also tried the shrimp and grits, which were really nice and comforting. You need to save room for dessert, though, because that sticky toffee pudding was on another level. The caramel sauce was so yummy. I highly suggest this spot for a great dinner, but I definitely need to stop by to check out their brunch.

My husband ordered chicken parm. Both dishes were featured entrees for the week. I also had a half portion of their summer peach salad and we ordered the garlic bread for the table. The stand out for me was the peach salad. I wanted something refreshing and light and it hit the spot. Everything worked well together. The garlic bread was nothing special but tasty. The flounder was seasoned well and tasted great. I was hoping for a bigger portion for the price but it was good. The beans were under seasoned so I could have did without them frankly. The potatoes were good. I had a bite of their chicken from the parm and it was tender and juicy. My husband, who loves chicken parm, stated it was one of the best. The noodles were al dente, which I'm fine with, but he prefers a softer noodle. Even with that he really enjoyed it. The inside was a bit small but bigger than I had imagined from the pics I saw online. I thought the ambience and vibe was good. I could tell there were a lot of regulars present. Live music which was cool too. Will definitely be back to try something new. Maybe those scallops because they looked fabulous on the way to other customers table.

Had it on my mind today for lunch so here I am It's very cold outside and it was very cold inside. I'm not sure if they're having issues with heating but it was a little uncomfortable. You seat yourself no hostess. I sat in my usual seat near the restroom. My server greeted me within 5 min of seating. I told her it's freezing and she agreed but didn't say why there was no heat, I proceeded to place the order bc I was on limited time. As I stated earlier I ordered the grilled chicken spinach sandwich with fries. It was delicious as always. It comes with spinach, cheese, smoked bacon, and tomatoes. Bread is fresh. Fries were popping hot There were 6 other guests there. 2 were seated at the bar. So it wasn't busy considering it was lunchtime. I did not have dessert. Had a Coke instead Parking is shared with other businesses in the plaza but there is additional parking in the rear. If you're looking for good food specifically Taverns, this is a good spot. Divey delish.
