    Chicken Mofongo with green sauce
    Fawn G.

Review for delivery only: I was in the mood for Mofongo and took a chance on this restaurant. One word:OMG! The Mofongo choices are Pernil( chicharones) Shrimp, Chicken or Plain. Mofongo is a dish of mashed green plantains with ones choice of meat incorporated into it. It comes with a red gravy. Quezada also includes a small salad, lettuce and tomato, with oil and vinegar dressing. I also ordered the platanos maduros as a side: a generous portion of fried banana goodness. Quezada is a Dominican Restaurant that also serves empanadas, San cocho, arroz con pollos, numerous seafood entrees and many Dominican Specialties. They also have many delicious juices: highly recommend the Passion Fruit. In addition, they offer breakfast entrees as well. The delivery is prompt. However, when ordering Mofongo, have patience. They make it to order. It took about 30 minutes. It was well worth the wait! I definitely will be ordering from them again.

This is hands down the best latino food establishment on the block, in the neighborhood, in the borough! My goto is the rotisserie chicken with white rice and red beans and a side of plantains. When I get adventurous... I add the fried pork. On an off day I get the stewed beef. In a nutshell, this mom and pop outfit dishes out meals that keeps you coming back. The best part is everything is not fried, and a side of fresh salad with their delightful dressing makes eating out not so laden with guilt.

Saturday afternoon. I'm hungry but don't know what I want. Definitely did not feel like cooking. So I browsed thru Grubhub and decided on Quezada. The order arrived exactly as they stated it would. Kudos to the cook who made my meal on 01/12/19 @ 3.30pm. I ordered the Broiled Chicken combo and it was Fantastic! Even the white rice was flavorful . I also ordered the Sancocho soup. It was very good. A lot of times these places are a Hit or Miss.... I can tell you my Order was a HIT!! My Order - Combo no. 3: *Whole broiled chicken *Large white rice *Medium beans *Small Salad *2 Liter Soda Sanocho Soup I will definitely order from Quezada again and hope it will be another Hit.

    Fried chicken and stewed chicken

I had delivery and will probably not so so again. The delivery was prompt but the food was mediocre to say the least. I ordered the stew chicken and rice. It was 95% rice with two pieces of chicken - a leg and a piece that was almost all bone. The maduros (Plantains) weren't sweet enough or soft enough. They were somewhat dry. The fries were soft and the piece of fried chicken had no covering or flavor. Thanks but never again.

    A roach

I found a big roach in my food!! When I told the restaurant they was very nonchalant about it. Instead of offering a refund they sent another plate of food which I didn't eat because I was disgusted to eat anything from them. Then someone called me back and said I ate all the food! He completely ignored the roach being in the food. I didn't see the roach until I got to the bottom of the plate !! I'm highly disgusted! I will never order for here again!!!

    Good Dominican food...

Love this spot!! Food is well seasoned and healthy in portion. The people are very nice ( it does make it easier, if you speak Spanish - especially if you are ordering delivery. Their empanadas...so good (insert Homer Simpson drool sound here).

Chicken head I hope and not rat

Before my last incident which made me never want to order again, they gave a chicken head with my chicken stew. Or atleast I hope it is and not a rat

Walked into Margon Restaurant in Midtown and instantly felt like I found one of NYC's secret cheat codes. Small space, big flavors, zero nonsense. The kind of place where you're elbow-to-elbow with strangers but everyone's united by one thing... serious hunger. Ordered the Cuban sandwich -- pressed, crispy, loaded with roast pork, glazed ham, Swiss, pickles, and mustard. One bite in and I stopped talking... which never happens. This thing didn't just deliver... it showed up early and over-prepared. Then came La Bandera Dominicana Braised beef swimming in savory gravy, yellow rice piled like a mountain, black beans doing their thing, and sweet maduros sitting on top like the victory flag. Simple. Comforting. Dangerous... because now I want it every week. Place gets busy, gets loud, gets chaotic... but it moves like a well-oiled machine. Years of experience and zero attitude. Just good people making great food. In a neighborhood full of tourist traps, this hole-in-the-wall is throwing haymakers. Sometimes the best escape in NYC isn't a rooftop... It's a Cuban sandwich and a plastic tray. And honestly... I'd pick that every time. #nycfood #hiddennyc #midtowneats

Wagner was great a wonderful personality and he made sure everything was to our liking checking on us periodically. I have been here before (the first time we did assorted appetizers) so but this time I dove into the dinner menu. The oxtail pasta was absolutely lovely, the meat was tender and delicately seasoned. I had the steak (I prefer my steak more on the well side) and the chef managed to keep it positively tender and juicy. Perched on top of a few slices of fried casava slices and a small side salad. You can never leave without trying the flan it's one of the best I have ever had. Service was quick and food was bought to us piping hot. The only down side is they oddly don't make pina coladas (it's the only thing I drink) and the restaurant was a bit too cold but other than that it was a lovely birthday dinner for my friend. Buena Vista is small and popular so I strongly suggest you make reservations if you plan on eating here.

Short on time, with just 40 minutes to dine, we thought we'd be wise to limit ourselves to starters and drinks. Greedily, though, we asked our server Carlos if he thought we had enough time for entrees. He said let's try! Trusting his wisdom and his consultation with the kitchen, we ordered the beet salad plus the langostino ravioli and the Chilean sea bass. To drink we had a strawberry martini and the guava and basil margarita. Every morsel was delectable. All of the dishes were colorful and interesting and robust with complex flavors and textures. The fish was cooked perfectly, light on the tongue. My daughter did ask for an adjustment to her drink upon first sip, and they accommodated graciously. We enjoyed our meals at an easy pace, got the check while finishing our drinks, paid via QR code, and made it to the show with 15 minutes to spare, satiated and satisfied. Regrettably, we didnt have time for dessert. So, good reason to go back SOON.
