Our tech was struggling and was so surprised that my 4 year old wasn't holding completely still. My kid was crying but she wasn't flailing or kicking as she sat in my lap and tried to practice breathing through it. If the tech struggled in that scenario then how does she cope with toddlers and babies who scream and thrash around? So I checked my insurance for urgent care and they recommended this office. It's in a large building with a parking lot (don't worry, they validate, just $1.50 to park). The office is the first one in the building. It's not fancy or stylish, but the nurses at the front desk are helpful--like when my health insurance didn't go through, she took the time to call and make them verify it. The wait wasn't long, 15-20 minutes, maybe, and they had good magazines. I saw Dr. Lenaburg, a mature man with a pleasant manner, and within 30 seconds of looking at my "bites" he said they weren't bites at all. They were small infections that had spread and turned into a larger skin infection. I had just returned from a trip to Bimini where I was wading through the mangroves (the "Healing Hole," in fact!) and I probably got it there. He explained everything clearly. So--to recap: I had a problem and needed immediate help. I didn't have to make an appointment or wait long. The nurses were efficient. The doctor was experienced. I would recommend this urgent care office to my friends, so I recommend it to you!

She came in friendly but firm, gave me the usual doctor convo but what made her stand out was how curious she was about me, my symptoms, and what lead to me getting there. Look, often with doctors I feel like they're barely listening and just trying to keep moving while subsiding my symptoms. Ok I get it, you're busy. But I'm a human being in pain. I hate crowded waiting rooms, so I booked an appointment online the night before after seeing great reviews and noting the Cedars background. Fyi there's construction on Ventura right now, so drive around to the back and park up the ramp and they do validate! The front desk was so nice and upfront about copays right away. I was called back quickly for vitals, and Dr. Zadorian was great. He was super friendly, thorough, and clearly explained the treatment plan, wrote my prescription, and gave solid advice on prevention. The facility is spotless, professional, and I was in and out in under an hour. Definitely my new go to whenever something comes up.
