The process to get blood work done was very efficient and organized. I made my appointment online. When I showed up, I just had to show my insurance card drivers license and was able to get in right away. And the technician was very competent. I received good care. read more

I came in for a TB test that I had scheduled online. When I met with the technician, I was informed that I needed to log into my account, reschedule the appointment, and pay for it online. The technician was very patient and helpful throughout the process. I was able to get my TB test done without any problems. The only issue I've experienced is that I never received a receipt and haven't been able to find one through the app, even after searching twice. That's the only problem I've had with an otherwise smooth experience. I will have to physically go into the quest office and request a receipt. I was hoping not to have to drive in to get this done. I tried to call them but the wait time is over 10 minutes so I've given up. read more

Encountered the WORST ATTITUDE from a staff member today 7/15/2025. My 94 yr old mother had a lab request for a urine sample from her doctor for a suspected uti. I had been emailed a copy of the lab request from the doctor during our drive to Quest but was reassured it would be in their system once we arrived so no need to stop and print it. We made an app appointment at 12:30 and when we arrived, the tech could not find the lab request so I offered the copy I had to be emailed over. That's when I first witnessed the attitude. As if I had inconvenienced her. Not my fault the system wasn't showing the test. There was only one other gentleman in the waiting room and no one else was on the wait list screen. The gentleman was having issues as well and was emailing his lab request paperwork. Tech handed me a post it with a handwritten email. I immediately sent the pdf attachment and continued to wait with my mother to be recalled. Tech came back out and spoke with the gentleman and then snapped at me as she walked back to towards the locked doors telling me make sure I only send the correct file attachment to which I stated that I had already done so and to please go check the email before being so snippy. 5 minutes later we are finally recalled back to room 6. Tech then complains that the referral doctor's name wasn't on the paperwork and I was looking directly at it with the ID number on the right column of the order. She continued to type my mother's year of birth incorrectly into the system and gave me an attitude again when I repeated the correct year to her. Then a coworker walked in and started chatting about needing her car battery jumped and my tech was sweet as pie to her offering to jump her car since she had a fresh new battery in hers and made jokes with her. As soon as the coworker left, the tech asks me if my mother is fasting and I ask "what for? She isn't having any blood drawn, just a urine sample for a suspected uti" I am then met again with her nasty unprofessional attitude as she snaps at me and says "I'm just doing my job and reading what is on my screen!" I then say to her that I'm asking a question because it seemed odd to ask for fasting for a urine sample for a UTI and I wanted to know what for? She then continues to run her mouth and tells us to leave the sample in the basket down the hall. Wish I would have gotten her name because she needs to be FIRED since she is completely RUDE/UNPROFESSIONAL and hates her job so much! As a paying customer, I do not need to put up with such nonsense. There are better labs out there. Stay away from the VALRICO location! read more

Taylor got my stick on the first try and normally techs don't get my veins as they are deeper and smaller! She was very nice and patient. Thank you quest and thank you Taylor ! read more

Staff is friendly and efficient. In and out for a test quickly and on time, no waiting.

Stop overbooking! I had an appointment scheduled for 10:10. I arrived at 10:05 and signed in with the app. It told me that I would receive a text when it was time for my appointment. At 10:56 I received a text advising me that they were ready for my appointment. I went inside and told the gentleman at the desk. He told me to have a seat. I sat there and waited but was not called back anywhere near when they called me in. read more

Louwana was amazing! My daughter had to have a lot of blood work done. She has been sick and passed out in the past. Louwana was a true professional! She kept my daughter calm by talking to her the whole time. She allowed her to lay down and made her as comfortable as possible. I can't thank her enough for her professionalism and over and beyond care. read more

It's very inconvenient to schedule appointments if urgently needed the same or next day. Even with an appointment scheduled, the employees are so unstaffed and over worked, that's it's impossible to actually be seen at your appointment time. In spite of all, my tech was still so polite and patient! She actually made the experience worth it the wait. read more

LOST MY LAB SAMPLE AFTER BEING EXTREMELY RUDE TO ME. Staff was very rude and incompetent. Pretended they did not know what a urine sample was and gave me a hard time after telling them I saw it on her list and she gave me attitude scrolling past it really fast. She was extremely rude to me when giving her the sample back like I had interrupted her gossip with her co-worker. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. I never write reviews but this is just terrible service and those employees need to be reevaluated. read more

Updqting my review cuz i had done lab work for my new doctor here on july 6th and they still haven't finished it. The lab worker told me my results would be sent to my new doctors in a week. Its july 25th!! My follow up is supposed to be tomorrow! Like in what world does it take this long?! And the app is garbage! There is no human to answer your questions. The result page still says pending n other information. Last time i went through quest they had the same test results fir exactly the same lab work in days! I should've gone to the one in brandon. I do not recommend the Valrico one! I should've known this was going to be this messy by the fact that there is no human personnel outside in the waiting area. Just an ipad. Removing people from the reception area is a mistake. A computer cannot replace people. If u have more advance questions u literally are left in the dark here. 1 star Update as of 8:14pm the fact that i have to write a bad review to get my f ing tests results to be released is just cruel! Quest on 60 Valrico. Do better for the people that depend on your services. This is not a joke nor a game. Some of us are fighting to stay alive and not loose our jobs! I have lost all my savings on my medical condition. I have almost lost all hope and if it wasn't for my family? I wouldn't be here right now. The system you have right now isn't fair nor worth all the hoops we have to jump for something that could've easily been given on a fair timely matter. I will never come back to this facility. Again i will never recommend this facility to anybody. If you want to use quest? Drive a little down the road to the Brandon one! They actually have staff up front and willing to process your lab work in a timely fashion and actually fax the results to your doctor in due process. The app doesn't give me the option to print nor send to my email. I got a automated window n nothing else. I understand perfectly that these times are bad. But replacing people with such a faulty machine and app isn't the answer. Again machines? Will never replace us. I wish there was a more human way out of these options but nope. It's time for you guys to do what everybody else does. Outsource the extra work to remote access jobs so that when your day staff is asleep. The 24/7 hotline workers can properly assist us. Don't you think that is better to create jobs so that these workers can properly n in due time inform us of our needs? Wouldn't it be better to cut the work load in half? Happy patients, better business? An ipad cannot answer u back. Chat bot cannot give you proper information outside its very limited programming. In order to move forward, i highly recommended your company joins everyone else with actual 24/7 assistance. The best part is that you'll be creating new jobs for people and in return? All the drama and work load that your staff cannot handle would be done faster. And you get more time to do shenanigans on your days off with ease. I think if you want to cut the receptionist out of harms way. Why not? Do like a skype thing in the lobby. Not even kidding! That is cost efficient to. No programming needed. Two web cams, and a receptionist sitting in her private room video "lobbying" guests. It's not perfect but both parties would be safe. Hell that person could stay home n do that remotely. I would rather talk to a person through a signal n a screen than the setup u have at the moment with an ipad that is to small for the older folks to even see or people not tech savy to operate. I was there on july 6th and there were elderly that couldn't even read the tiny screen. They waited almost half an hour to have a person come out of the lab and walk them through a tutorial. That's like having the mac donalds drive through employee crawl out the window to give u a tutorial in ordering. It's ridiculous analogy, because it a ridiculous system that you have at the moment. Ill change the review rating when i decide to come in parachute n see if the lobby changes. It doesn't need to be this hard! Most of your clients are elderly or people like me that are fighting gravity every day just to stay awake n not black out! read more

This is a very busy place so I would not consider trying to drop in. Easy appointment online so it's not worth trying to go without one. You don't have a choice on who will help you but Alex is the best. I went to him at the genetics lab and was happy to see him. He is the best in the industry so I am glad he is here. Professional and oh so kind and Never leaves a bruise. I was grateful to have him today which makes the whole experience better. They process a lot of people but today was quick and efficient. Thanks Alex for making my day brighter. read more

horrible. i had a scheduled drug test for a job at 12 PM and the woman helping me said i could leave to publix to grab a water. when i came back the entire staff told me she couldn't have told me that, and that they can't help me because i left the premises. no one told me i couldn't leave the premises and i was told, verbatim, "if you don't like the water here you can go to publix". i wasted two and a half hours here, missed my class (that i pay for) and now i may have lost the opportunity to get the job although i went through screening and was accepted, this was my last hurdle to get through. i would not recommend coming here. staff was not helpful and misleading and proceeded to gaslight me and not believe me when i repeated what i was told. i hope the staff here can get better training and be able to better cater to the public because this was an awful experience. read more

This has to be one of the worse places to get anything done such as blood work or anything else required by your doctor. Such for an example I had blood work done and the girls acted like I didn't know what I was talking about when I handed them my script from my doctor requesting this a type of blood draw he wanted me to have done. It took three different employees to finally understand/comprehend what kind of blood draw I was there to have done. The staff there is rude and drama from some of the nurses when something doesn't go there way. A little bit over board on worrying about being the only one there and asking twenty questions about who did this and who didn't do it. This place is over rated!!! read more

horrible job, I was stuck 8 times for blood work, they should not be training people on clients, I told them before I can't be stuck multiple times because of my condition read more

I'm honestly confused by the negative reviews of this place. I've been coming to this location for years, and have never had a problem. They make it very convenient to schedule an appointment online, and when you do, you simply show up and check in at the computer kiosk and are seen within a few minutes. The longest I have ever waIted *without* an appointment was 20-25 minutes. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Today I was in and out - checked in, blood drawn, and back in the car in about 10 minutes. Never a hassle. read more

If you got shit to do, this is the place for you. Sure thry aren't all super in your face sunshine and rainbows, but they are quick, polite, and professional. Plus are getting a lab test, not online dating so that really shouldn't be a factor you consider.... Anyway, I was a walk in at 9AM, waited less than 10 min and then I was out to go to do sir! read more

This place continues to go downhill. Had an appointment for 10:30, signed in at 10:20 and didn't get called to the counter until 10:47! Everyone who works in the front office moves at a snails pace, it's like waiting in a government office! The people who draw blood are pretty good. A day before this visit I got a bill for $165 from my last visit, didn't make any sense since I always pay $15. I called Quest and they said my insurance company never responded to their billing so I was being charged the full amount! I called insurance and she confirmed it was sent 2 days after my visit. I had to have the insurance company fax, who does that anymore, the EOB to Quest. When I checked in they wanted me to pay the $165 balance, I explained the situation and the gal said she would only override it this time! Seriously this is not an issue on my end but Quests end.. Give me a break. read more

This location was awesome. I didn't have an appointment and walked in at 6:30 to have blood drawn and a urine test. I was out by 6:50am My phlebotomist was fast, friendly, and efficient . I would definitely recommend this location. read more

I feel bad for the previous reviewer's experience but mine was awesome. I had NO appointment. I walked in and signed in at 11:11am, I was done and out the door at 11:29. This is a VERY Busy Center. When I had an appointment last week, there were walk-in people who had been waiting almost 2 hours in the lobby. I had booked an appointment and still waited 20 minutes. This morning I went to drop off my specimens. I was told to sign in and wait. The place was full and I stood along a wall. A woman sitting near me said she had been waiting over 45 minutes to simply drop off her lab specimen. I gasped. I had to go to work. I asked her if she had signed in and she said yes. I was called back before she was. ??? They were calling out names and people had obviously given up and left because several did not come up. I overheard someone say they were short of staff TWO people. As busy as they are they need to hire more staff. When I was called the lady put my "samples" on a back counter. I told her I had two bags in the brown paper bag. I said: One had 2 refrigerated specimens and one had the frozen specimen. She told me in a most insulting tone that she "knew what she was doing and I DIDN'T NEED TO WORRY MY PRETTY LITTLE HEAD" I was shocked. I had not done anything but try to explain why my samples were in two separate baggies. My cheeks were burning because I have never been spoken to like that before - ESPECIALLY - in a medical facility. I am back at work and it is after 1pm and I am still upset about how I was spoken to before 9am. I also started to put other observations into place. I saw preferential calling of people being allowed to go back and it did appear to be based on color. I also saw a difference in the way black people were spoken to MOST RESPECTFULLY and KIND and the way white people were treated like cattle. I SUGGEST YOU SEND A SECRET SHOPPER TO THIS SITE. THE BACKLOG AND "SPECIAL" TREATMENT OF PEOPLE BASED ON COLOR IS NOT ONLY UNPROFESSIONAL BUT IF THE RIGHT PEOPLE NOTICE YOU MAY BE SLAPPED WITH A LAWSUIT! HINT Go to LABCORE on Bloomingdale for Much Better service. I went here because it was on the way to work. I will never make that mistake again. read more

Absolutely zero customer service. My biggest fear in life is needles. And the staff here did nothing about that to accommodate my fear. Nothing major just a little customer service that's all that would be fine. A smile from the technician or just some small talk. I asked to have blood taken a certain way and was told that my request was not the protocol. After arguing with the technician I did not feel comfortable having draw my blood. She had an attitude and was extremely rude. I'm sorry if I don't want someone stabbing me who is copping an attitude with me. CUSTOMER SERVICE is what this horrible place needs to learn. read more

Okay. My GI sent me here for blood and fecal testing. The blood draw was no problem but I was given a "kit" to collect the fecal and return it. NOTE....I prepaid so all I really needed to do was "drop off a bag of poop". I return the next day and no one is at the front desk so I walk down the hallway until I find an employee who says I have to sign in. There were 20 people already "waiting" so I said "I have already paid and all I need to do is drop this off". She reiterated that I need to sign in and wait. THIS IS A RIDICULUOUS PROCESS to have to go through simply to DROP OFF your collection. Very poor system and very inefficient process. read more
