Imaging was fast and friendly. Lady that did ultrasound was very nice. She did a great job. Blood work was also great. Did not hurt and they found my vein right away, not always the case at some places. Elvira took my blood and was so nice. Talked with me the whole time to take my mind off the bloodwork. Because I had 2 appointments I had to wait in between, which is expected. The original lady that checked me in came over in between to make sure I had been seen. I was thankful and honestly do not always see someone like that who cares and wants you to be helped right away. So happy with everyone I was in contact with at BayCare. Definitely recommend this place. They do so much from regular care, imaging, blood, rehab, fitness. Very clean and modern inside.

The only issue I've experienced is that I never received a receipt and haven't been able to find one through the app, even after searching twice. That's the only problem I've had with an otherwise smooth experience. I will have to physically go into the quest office and request a receipt. I was hoping not to have to drive in to get this done. I tried to call them but the wait time is over 10 minutes so I've given up.

I had been emailed a copy of the lab request from the doctor during our drive to Quest but was reassured it would be in their system once we arrived so no need to stop and print it. We made an app appointment at 12:30 and when we arrived, the tech could not find the lab request so I offered the copy I had to be emailed over. That's when I first witnessed the attitude. As if I had inconvenienced her. Not my fault the system wasn't showing the test. There was only one other gentleman in the waiting room and no one else was on the wait list screen. The gentleman was having issues as well and was emailing his lab request paperwork. Tech handed me a post it with a handwritten email. I immediately sent the pdf attachment and continued to wait with my mother to be recalled. Tech came back out and spoke with the gentleman and then snapped at me as she walked back to towards the locked doors telling me make sure I only send the correct file attachment to which I stated that I had already done so and to please go check the email before being so snippy. 5 minutes later we are finally recalled back to room 6. Tech then complains that the referral doctor's name wasn't on the paperwork and I was looking directly at it with the ID number on the right column of the order. She continued to type my mother's year of birth incorrectly into the system and gave me an attitude again when I repeated the correct year to her. Then a coworker walked in and started chatting about needing her car battery jumped and my tech was sweet as pie to her offering to jump her car since she had a fresh new battery in hers and made jokes with her. As soon as the coworker left, the tech asks me if my mother is fasting and I ask "what for? She isn't having any blood drawn, just a urine sample for a suspected uti" I am then met again with her nasty unprofessional attitude as she snaps at me and says "I'm just doing my job and reading what is on my screen!" I then say to her that I'm asking a question because it seemed odd to ask for fasting for a urine sample for a UTI and I wanted to know what for? She then continues to run her mouth and tells us to leave the sample in the basket down the hall. Wish I would have gotten her name because she needs to be FIRED since she is completely RUDE/UNPROFESSIONAL and hates her job so much! As a paying customer, I do not need to put up with such nonsense. There are better labs out there. Stay away from the VALRICO location!

I was impressed with the quick response and feedback! The Imaging staff was so pleasant and understanding of my needs. We discussed the options available to avoid the delay in reading the X-rays for next time. I have been using the BayCare Health Hub in Valrico for a number of years. I moved to Lake Wales several years ago but even though my drive is almost 2 hours, I will continue to go there. The staff is pleasant and efficient and the facility is clean. I have had to call Baycare Imaging in Valrico on 2 separate occasions to request the results of my X-rays. I went to Imaging in enough time to have the results back before my scheduled PCP appointment! These were not complicated X-rays. This happening again is unacceptable. I go to Baycare Heath Hub in Valrico because I trust this business but that trust is quickly fading. Also I called prior to closing hours and the message was they were unable to take my call!

He was able to quickly work me back in for my MRI after having issues with my spine stimulator not being able to fully charge to be able to go into MRI. Besides pulling off this miracle, he was kind, respectful, and overall energetically helpful. Everything went smoothly from check in, pre op, surgery and post op. I spent the night and received excellent care from a very well staffed and professional nursing team. I provided a very positive review on their web site. My second visit was scheduled late morning at 10:30 arrival. I will never accept a late morning surgery appointment again. First every parking spot was full. A five level garage provided not one open space. Eventually I found a car leaving in front of the women's care entrance. This was at the other end of the hospital from where I was told to enter near the south garage. I had no idea how to get back to the surgery check in. I entered the women's entrance and told the security guard I needed to get back to the south garage entrance. He radioed a man in a golf cart to meet me at the entrance and take me back to the surgery area. I told him the hospital website said there was valet parking near the children's emergency area. He said that was no longer being offered. My surgery lasted longer than the doctor told us and by the time I arrived in recovery and then post op I was the only patient in post op area. The nurses were all leaving and saying good night to other nurses. My nurse was the only one there. The motion lighting in the other tented rooms were turning off. As I was getting dressed to leave the nurse told my wife to bring the car to a different door to pick me up for the drive home. As I had dropped her off at the surgery entrance at 10:30, seven and a half hours earlier, she had no idea where our car was except my description of it parked across from the women's entrance. The nurse was so pleasant and helpful she offered my wife a wheelchair and took her to the security desk to call for the golf cart courtesy driver. Unfortunately, both the nurse and my wife learned that service goes home at 4:00. It's now 6:30. So now the only nurse in post op pushed my wife in a wheelchair the entire length of the hospital to the women's section to get our car. I sat by myself in a chair with now one light on waiting for the nurse to return. There are 6 handicapped parking spaces outside the surgery entrance. And perhaps 10 non handicapped spaces. Arriving late morning you will not find a parking spot. There are no reserved for surgery parking spots. As patients are released the assigned nurses go home and the area pretty much shuts down for the night. Very poor arrangement. The staff readily acknowledges that parking is horrible but apparently that's where it ends. The Doctors have a reserved parking area. The patients including surgeries are left to fend for yourself self. My future hospital needs will be at Tampa General or St Joe South.

The lady that was training him, was not. I wish I had asked for her name. So, I'll do my best to describe her. African American, around 40's. With a very bad attitude. I sat down as she berated all the people waiting in lobby. She snatched all lab orders and spat out orders to quiet, calm, clients. A lady went up to the window for assistance. She didn't get a word out of her mouth before this lady told her to sit back down and wait until the others before her were taken care of. And, that she learn how to make an appointment. This employee continued to be short with Alexander while she "trained" him at the front desk. While I was grateful for Alexander and the other kind technician lady. This one employee made my visit very uncomfortable and unsatisfactory. I hope someone in corporate goes through these review and is able to address this toxic employee.

Today I went to their Riverview FL office for some routine bloodwork and experienced one of the most toxic, rude, and borderline abusive employees I have ever encountered at a medical facility. The person I encountered is named "Drew" and I believe she is referred to in other reviews on a different site as well when it comes to abusive behavior toward patients. Their system went down and she seemed to be having some kind of meltdown. She kept talking about them needing to close for lunch and said that unless we had a hard copy of paperwork from a doctor that she would not do any bloodwork for us depsite having prepaid through their site. She didnt even know what the Ondemand services were and told me I had to get a faxed copy from Labcorp before we could do our bloodwork. I tried to explain it was an online prepaid blood draw and she claimed this could not be done unless a doctor or Labcorp sent her a fax with an order number. For anyone who is aware this is not a necessary part of the process and Ondemand online services do not need a hard copy order - that isnt even available and anyone can find this out for themselves. I attempted to show her the email proof and actually gave her the order number provided by Labcorp. I could even see my order number on the screen on her computer with my name on it and she still denied me service despite having set up an appointment and having all the necessary information. I had already called Labcorp and they stated there was no need for a fax copy to authorize the order. During my short intense exchange with this toxic woman I watched her belittle and dismiss several other people, even an elderly man that seemed extremely ill who had been waiting before we even arrived - and keep in mind this after almost one full hour of waiting for an appointment made days in advance. After just over an hour of waiting I made an appointment at a different lab corp location nearby. I can only pray my next experience is competent and that I can receive the services that I have already paid for. For anyone who reads this, please be aware that this place is staffed by a truly negative person who has no business working with the public in this capacity. Her only priority was closing for lunch and playing power games with the people who came in needing blood work. I hope that she receives the same type of treatment elsewhere in her own life, sometimes it is the only way people like this learn to treat others with respect. Shame on you Drew, you are a true bully.

The…read morefront desk clerk, Sarah, refused to schedule the ultrasound my doctor specifically prescribed, insisting instead that I should get a mammogram. Even after explaining that my doctor had instructed me to continue with ultrasound imaging, she dismissed my statement and made unsolicited comments about what I "should" be doing. I was already in pain and under time pressure, and her behavior was invasive, dismissive, and unprofessional. I ended up having to insist that she at least process my X-rays. Staff handling patient intake should respect physician orders and treat patients professionally -- this experience fell far short. The waiting room like all the tgh offices/hospital are so cold and spartan, must be like what prison is. Just beige, no plants, no comfy chairs, just basic and pathetic. TGH is so cheap when it comes to amenities. There are none. A tv on the wall is not an amenity. At least they did have free wifi but it sucked too. The only saving grace was the lovely x-ray tech, sadly I forgot her name. She was amazing, kind, attentive and oh so helpful since I do not get around quickly. She waited and went above and beyond and opened every door for me all the way out to the parking lot.
