I had a very upsetting experience at TGH Imaging Brandon (Bell Shoals) around noon on 10/24/25. The front desk clerk, Sarah, refused to schedule the ultrasound my doctor specifically prescribed, insisting instead that I should get a mammogram. Even after explaining that my doctor had instructed me to continue with ultrasound imaging, she dismissed my statement and made unsolicited comments about what I "should" be doing. I was already in pain and under time pressure, and her behavior was invasive, dismissive, and unprofessional. I ended up having to insist that she at least process my X-rays. Staff handling patient intake should respect physician orders and treat patients professionally -- this experience fell far short. The waiting room like all the tgh offices/hospital are so cold and spartan, must be like what prison is. Just beige, no plants, no comfy chairs, just basic and pathetic. TGH is so cheap when it comes to amenities. There are none. A tv on the wall is not an amenity. At least they did have free wifi but it sucked too. The only saving grace was the lovely x-ray tech, sadly I forgot her name. She was amazing, kind, attentive and oh so helpful since I do not get around quickly. She waited and went above and beyond and opened every door for me all the way out to the parking lot. read more

Everyone is so nice here. Very caring and professional staff. My condition required someone caring and gentle because of pain and I couldn't have gotten a sweeter tech. Very grateful to be a patient here. read more

Everyone was very kind and helpful. I have an MRI of the brain though last Thursday and now it is the following Friday and I still don't have results. I'm just wondering why that is I have had several images taken at TGH at the Parsons location and I have never had to wait this long for results. read more

My husband had a PET Scan on a Wednesday. (Concerns for the lungs.) It's now Monday afternoon and still no information. Do they have any idea the suffering this has put us through? It is unbelievable that it has been 4 days to get the results of such an important test. read more

Atrocious. I was told to come at 7am when doors open for an X-ray, as they don't do appointments. So I did. I showed up at 6:55 and was told at 7:05 when they finally opened the door that the X-ray techs don't arrive until 8am. I was 4th in line somehow. I wasn't seen until almost 9am. Although the X-ray tech was wonderful, the front desk staff was very rude, and not helpful. The appointment was on the 18th. I called my drs office on the 28th to ensure the X-rays were there, as my appointment to go over my scans was set for the 28th. They were NOT sent into my doctor. I sat on hold and they finally assured me that the results were sent to my doctor, even though the front desk rep was unable to explain why the X-rays weren't sent yet. I show up to doctors office on the 29th and TGH Imaging STILL had not sent in my results. I had to sit on hold- yet again while I was at my doctors office to get my scans. They never sent them. Two full days I wasted. I now have to take yet another days off work and wait for results to be sent in. I will never go here again. read more

It was actually a good visit for my mother. We were there for an MRI of the brain. I had called a couple of days before to get an appointment and they were very accommodating. They got us scheduled at the nearest location within 5 days which was very reasonable. The staff was friendly. The technician was very patient and professional. He explained everything to my 93 year old mom. Talked her through the process making sure she was doing well throughout the procedure. She did a great job staying still. I was very proud of her. It's not easy at that age. They do offer anesthesia for people who need it, but you need to tell them in advance. Mom didn't need it at all. Her primary physician got the results within a couple of days. If I had to say anything negative, it would be that they are very busy and the wait time was longer than usual. That's understandable. Other than that, everything went smoothly. During COVID-19, they have the seats in the waiting room spaced 6 feet apart. You must wear a mask before you enter. There's a sign posted on the door to wait before entering. The technician comes out immediately to greet and screen people before allowing them to enter. It was all very easy and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. read more

This place is so poorly run. You can't make an appointment and you end up waiting HOURS to be seen. Go anywhere else but here.

I went to Tower on Bell Shoals for x rays and I had a very good experience. You do not need an appointment for x rays. They are done on a walk basis. I was in and out in less than an hour. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Rebecca was my tech and she was great, kind, informative, and professional. I have already scheduled the other two tests I need at this same location. read more

I have been coming to this particular Tower for last 8 years, for mostly routine mammogram screenings, occasional chest X-rays, and another full body scan of some type. Staff here is polite, efficient and my wait times for my appointments are good; they have gotten better over the years. This was a scan for cancer . I spent the last 6 mo in chemo once a week . I arrived and the nurse told me I should've been 90 min early due to the scan . I told her it would've been nice if someone told me . So she handed me the big cup with the chalky fluid to drink and told me to come back in 2 hours . I went home and went back for my scan it involved an iv as well the nurse didn't know how to administer the iv and after two painful tries I ask for someone else and she called the manager , the manager came with a heating pad and burned my arm but was able to administer the iv . Not a good experience. I added the pictures of my arms all bruised up . read more

The staff at the Bloomingdale Tower radiology were very kind, thoughtful, and helpful. I felt completely at ease.

They were so nice and courteous. There was a problem with my orders and they worked around it to make sure I got the test I needed. Didn't need to wait at all. read more

Not that I want to be here... The staff here have been very friendly with me, and the waits aren't too bad here. Those are the two most important to me. They give you a CD with your test results, which is also nice. If you want one and they haven't already offered one, just ask them. I have to remember that if I'm coming from Bloomingdale I need to turn into the Mobil Gas parking lot instead of turning on Bell Shoals. Otherwise, because of some strategically placed road barriers, I end up having to make a U-turn on Bell Shoals to get back to Tower. read more

I arrived on time, but I actually arrived at the wrong imaging center. I was entered in queue and promptly seen at that center, rather than having to reschedule. I got my results within 4 working days. They were super from start to finish. read more

I've have been to this facility numerous times throughout the years, their staff is always friendly and helpful but they are ALWAYS way behind schedule. They have even asked me to come 30 min early and are still 20 min late. Frustrating that my time is not valued. They also have NEVER let me know why they were running behind and/or apologized. read more

OK...maybe I am just Covid-Crabby....but I am so frustrated! I had a mammogram scheduled at #TowerRadiology on Bloomingdale. My appointment was for 5:15. I arrived in the parking lot at 5:10. I had received a text that they were doing check in electronically from the car. 20 minutes later, I have completed all the paperwork and was told to head to the door....where I was greeted by a lil snot asking me what I wanted. I let her know that I had an appointment. She asked my last name and then very snidely said yea, at 5:15. I told her that I had been here since 5:10 and was following their procedure with registration in my car. She said well, it's too late, the tech has already gone home for the day. I asked her why they didn't check the parking lot, as I was there. I guess that explains the 5 texts I got that was asking if I wanted an earlier appointment! SO, heads up ... if you have to go to Tower Radiology, you will want to show up at a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your appointment or they will dismiss you like a used Kleenex! #TowerRadiologySux read more

Recently went to them, receptionist was rude and curt. Greeting staff okay, but not very personable. Nurses were more personable. Billing a nightmare. Never received an invoiced to pay, but a month later I'm getting slammed with calls from some collection agency demanding payment in full. Would have been nice to deal with the center first hand. Would not recommend this facility ever!!! read more

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. After an hour and a half of waiting while the techs held my partner's ID and insurance card hostage, she was called back only to be told she was too large to receive X-rays here. We watched two DOZEN other patients be taken back, many who arrived after we did, and then she gets humiliated and embarrassed by the workers. The x-ray tech or even the registration worker could easily have informed us early on that the equipment wouldn't hold a person of size. However, this "outdated equipment" excuse is often thrown around without reason. On the off chance that there was actual evidence to back the claim up, there was NO REASON to keep someone who is obviously in chronic pain (multiple x-ray orders issued by a rheumatologist) waiting that long only to be turned away. We were then told to go to another location where we could WAIT AGAIN. No one offered to call head to ensure the equipment would be adequate; no one offered to ensure we wouldn't have to wait another 2 hours to be seen. Unhelpful, embarrassing, and infuriating experience on all levels. Shame on you, Bloomingdale Radiology Center. There is a right way to deal with people of size, and you do it with compassion in a timely fashion so no time is wasted. We will never return to this location, and it's because the employees here are even less accommodating than the equipment. read more
