I've been coming here so much during my pregnancy and I feel like I know everyone now. So far I have had a pleasant experience everyone seems to be pretty nice and good at drawing blood. There was only one lady that I wasn't too fond of but I didn't catch her name. Make sure if you are doing multiple labs to ask for a butterfly needle. I know they don't like to use it because it's more expensive (I used to be a phlebotomist) but I'm not gona be tortured by a 20 gauge needle while pregnant sorry. read more

First of all, finding this place was so confusing and difficult. There's no sign outside to tell you of the place so you're driving in circles looking for a "quest diagnostic" sign. You WONT see one. And forget about booking an appointment. You still wait longer than walk in's. And there's no one letting you know what the status. You're just sitting out there waiting. WORST experience ever! All quest diagnostic labs are the same. This has been the third facility I've been to and it's the same horrible wait time experience ever. read more

The service I receive here tends to be a hit or miss. Most of the staff I've encountered here introduce themselves after calling me back and are usually friendly. The last time I was here, however, the female staff member didn't introduce herself, wasn't friendly, and was sarcastic. She also inputted the incorrect lab order that my physician ordered, which delayed my care and caused a headache just trying to get ahold of someone on the phone to address their error. Despite finally getting the error situated, I went to a different Quest Diagnostic location to obtain the correct lab order that my physician requested. I would love to say that was the only time that this Vacaville Quest location ran the incorrect labs that my doctor ordered; however, this happened at least two additional times in the past (at least within the last year). That being said, I hope the employees can pay a little bit closer attention to detail when it comes to the lab orders and their overall bedside manner. read more

Very unprofessional staff, slammed the door in my face after I waited 30 mins on standby, they don't take walk ins after 3pm apparently. They should really post this somewhere so people do not wait to be seen. There was a 10 min window where there were no appointments or no one else waiting in the waiting room and they still didn't see me. I need the blood test for medication and I told them and they said to make an appointment and walked away. There is absolutely no customer service here and nobody to talk to. read more

Made an appointment online the same day for the afternoon. Check in was easy with the self check in kiosk. Was seen maybe 5 minutes after check in. The young gentleman who helped me was kind, personable, and quick with the needle. I was done is less than 5 minutes. No issues to say. I did notice online that most bookings were filled for the morning and afternoon slots were very open. I'd advise to go in the afternoon to avoid long wait times. read more

Got blood drawn today at Vacaville, mason st lab. Blood drawn phlebotomist Payton appeared to be mad at someone or something or don't like coming in early? No lab jacket on. Just scrubs and winter coat jacket. No name tag. No smile. No introduction?? Please stay home when your face appeared mad. No patient deserved your attitude. I don't know what you expect, as a person, when you go to a lab for tests..........to get blood drawn and so forth. I always try to look at it from the OTHER person's point of view. That said, going to Quest at 07:15 in the morning to get blood drawn I HIGHLY recommend Quest and in particularly Ortencia my phlebotomist! Lots of people have qualms about needles, shots, things like that...... I GUARANTEE you you will not even know the needle went in!! So thank you Quest. Made my appointment on line. Easy as pie! Checked in easy as pie. Ortencia called me back, drew my blood. Boom! I 'm done and on my way! All in all......100% efficient, friendly, professional, very clean......... Quest is the absolute worst place to go. Slow even simply dropping off a specimen I am waiting 20 30 min no reception just a stupid punch pad that doesn't work well. 10/13/2022 ***LAURA - TECHNICIAN Had an appointment today and they had a day where there was only one technician there at that time. No big deal as they cannot control people calling in or needing to go on lunch etc. My appointment was right on schedule. The tech had an upset client right before and she handled It professionally and with ideas on how to get it done faster. Love that. I'm easy, I don't need special treatment or require people to ask how I am, especially when they are working hard and trying to get everyone in and out quickly. Laure not only worked very efficiently and quickly, she still had the pleasant conversation and didn't look overwhelmed by handling the patients on her own. You would think she does it all the time. Very poor service! They say they're open till 4 PM, but stop taking blood draw walk-ins at about 3:15. They were done with all their lab draws by 3:45, and wrapping up to leave. They should really list their hours of service as 7 am to 3pm, unless you've made an appointment!! read more

Doors are locked a half hour before closing with three employees hiding in the back. One came to the door to let a friend out, and told me they were waiting for another appointment and couldn't see me because they were too busy (there were no clients inside.) So out of curiosity I sat outside of the place for a half hour until they all went home for the day...of course no other appointments showed up, they were all just too lazy to take a patient. Some man stopped by too and was banging on the door with a box to drop off, but they never bothered to come to the door for him either. The phlebotomist who drew my blood was very efficient and courteous, as was the receptionist. I'm afraid I cannot speak as charitably for the other individual who so rudely barked at me after I politely asked her a simple question. Why is it that I always leave Quest with the feeling that I've just passed through some sort of penal institution? I haven't had a grown adult talk down to me like that since I was in elementary school. I have good insurance and I understand that I'm privileged to get the care that I need, but I think I'll request having any future blood work done in a hospital lab setting from now on, as getting shoved around at Quest always feels so ghetto to me. I can't really blame the staff for having a surly attitude, as the company probably overworks them and under-staffs the facility in order to save money. This is what we get for patronizing an organization that apparently cares more about squeezing out an ever-widening profit margin than they care about their staff or their patients. read more

Very slow location. Even with an appointment I still had to wait 30+ minutes, and you can hear the employees chatting in the back. The waiting room is very impatient, I really feel bad for everyone sitting in there - There is no one to talk to or check-in with. What is the point of having an appointment? I'm only giving them a 3 star because my first time going to them for my glucose was good and the person that took my test was nice. But if it wasn't for my first experience coming here the first time being good, they would of gotten a 1, just because we can't give zero stars. Long story short, pediatric from upstairs in the same building sent me downstairs to get blood work done for my newborn and it was a stat. I tried to do walk in but they weren't taking anymore patient. Someone came out and I walk towards the door (not trying to go in, just trying to talk to one of the employees standing next to the door). Anyways, she seen me walking towards her and hurried to close the door. That's when I said excuse me and that peds from upstairs sent me down to get blood work for my baby and it was stat.
