This location provided the worst customer service I've received at a Quest Lab. The staff was not kind, they were quick to get people in and out in an impolite manner. One of the staff scolded me like a child for not wearing a mask, when I asked if she could provide me with one, she said "I only have one box I can't give you one, but you can go next door to dollar tree and buy one" I went next door to purchase a mask, and once arriving at the lab I was told "you took too long to get a mask" and that I no longer had an appointment. Lol, what!?!? So no matter what I did, it was such an obstacle to get serviced. I am a registered nurse, and the service these Quest employees gave was embarrassing, and as I fellow healthcare worker I'm ashamed and would never! These Quest workers have no empathy and it's obvious they dislike their job and it's unfair to patients like myself, and all the other patients who were in that waiting room the day of my visit. normally I would give this place a 5, but my visit today was horrible. I always request the room with the bed because I get lightheaded when having blood drawn. I got that, but the technician they assigned me - well I may have just as well gone to the butcher shop at Vons. his name was Leo and he was rude and crude with a bad attitude. if I ever get him again I will request someone else. I came in for routine blood labwork this morning and was very impressed with how professional and nice this location is. First of all they have a quick and easy self check in system so you dont have to wait when you arrive, the front desk staff is very efficient and attentive, and the technician who drew my blood was sympathetic to the fact that I was nervous and anxious so she talked me through the whole process and set my mind at ease. She instantly got my attention because every time she opened the door to get a new patient she smiled so big and asked how they were doing. Definitely will not come back to any Quest lab. The check in process is not suppose to be hard. I used their computer screen to check in, and I am 100% sure it said something like "You've successfully checked in". I waited for 1 hour and the 2 ladies at the front desk said they must've accidentally deleted me. I am sure it wasn't an "accident" because during my 1 hour wait, they kept looking at me but did not volunteer to check with me. The black lady didn't do or say anything to anyone, she was looking to clock out at 5pm. Their phlebotomists are usually good, but they should probably be tested for drug use. I was asked to put my fluid sample behind the metal box -- the metal box was the circuit breaker box, not the samples box. I definitely was not mistaken. Also, this lab was filthy. Greatest tip I could give you: MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE! There are many walk-ins and you might be stuck waiting for more than 30 minutes if you do not have an appointment. I had an appointment at 11:30am on a Monday and waited for about 10 minutes until they called me in. I came in for a urine drug test. Workers are professional and very efficient during the testing. I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes. Would highly recommend this location for all testing needs! read more

NO STARS is what Quest Diagnostics Grove Location deserves and they can thank JUDY. (This facility is now moved to Foothill in the Walmart Neighborhood Grocery shopping center.) Anyway JUDY was rude to my 72 year old mother. We went there to have basic lab work done, aparently they were in the process of moving to the new facility BUT they were open in the morning. When we got there we were told they were closing for lunch for an hour. So we went and did some running around and returned back an hour later. When we entered the front office we were told they were closed for the day. My mom said we were just here and was told to come back in an hour. JUDY said we are closed and told another lady in a white coat to get up and close the door. As that happened another lady came up to get lab work, she was around mother's age and she had an appointment. They would not open the door for her. I knocked on the door harder for the other lady and finally they opened it and JUDY SAID WE ARE CLOSED! Yes she had a raised voice. The other lady explained she had an appointment and had paperwork. JUDY raised her voice again and told the other worker to close the door we're closed. It was extremely rude how she spoke to both my mother and the other lady. Closed or not closed clearly there was a miss in communication in instructions for these to ladies to get lab work done. No matter what, show some respect to your elders JUDY. My mother was really upset. We are thankful that there are other locations for Quest Diagnostics. We will not be going to the one that employs JUDY. This location is always packed. My advice: Always go online and make a reservation ahead of time, at least a week in advance. Seriously. This will help you avoid having to do the Wait From Hell as if you were in a DMV office, which is made exponentially worse if you go in there feeling sick to begin with. read more

I am required to use Quest Diagnostics by my current employer. I am a Software Engineer Contractor, and frequently am required to take a uranalysis. I arrived at the test center in Upland CA, 20 minutes early and was chased away and told to return 5 minutes prior to my appointment. I did so, and had to wait an additional 45 minutes after my arrival. The urinalysis process was primitive and inefficient. The ample in question was bottled and shipped UPS to a central location, and would take days to process. I took a urinalysis test five years past, the entire process, was done with modern networked link equipment, took not more than 30 minutes from beginning-to-end. The modern lab was located in Rancho Cucamonga CA. I do not understand why, five days later, my test results are still not available. I f you attempt to contact Quest Diagnostics, you will be directed to a website, you cannot talk to a human being, ever. read more

Let's face it, none of us likes getting blood work done. When I walked in I was nervous but the environment was very warm and inviting. No greetings but that wasn't a problem because I had gone at 5am so there were only a few people who were attending to others already. This is a immaculate facility, the staff is very nice and welcoming. I did not have an appointment and really needed to get my labs done before work, I walked in and within five minutes they collected my information and brought me back! Getting lab work isn't fun and the phlebotomist Wendy was the best I have had thus far! I was uneasy about the whole thing and she was so sweet and made me feel comfortable. I came in for a 2 hr glucose tolerance test on a busy Friday morning. It's best to call in for an appt but I did mine last minute. Take note that I am pregnant with twins and was fasting. The staff was very nice and pleasant even when it got hectic. The wait for my first blood draw wasn't very long so I was happy about that. I just had to wait an hour between blood draws which sucked but it was standard procedure. The ladies who took my blood were very skilled and I didn't feel a thing when they poked me with a needle. I especially appreciate how accommodating LIZETH was. She made sure I was comfortable during my test and let me stay in one of the rooms because I was already feeling weak and dizzy. It would be nice if they notified people who had appointments and they need to take down the appointment feature for that location for now. The process once I came at the right time was painless. Somehow I was called up only 5-10 min after I signed in, even though others were waiting before me. I was in and out in 30. What wasn't okay had to do more with corporate. They have different hours for regular stuff and drug testing, but only show 1 on Google. The drug screening sheet I was given only showed 1 set as well. When I called the quest diagnostics #, and followed the prompts to hear the hours from the automated machine, it said their drug testing is til 12:30, but when I arrived at 12:05 and told them about the phone message they turned me away and showed me the business card showing the drug testing hours as til 12 for lunch. Seriously, the drug screening sheet I was given said to call the phone # to confirm hours, and even those are wrong. Change them. For the sake of every future pissed off patient. read more

this lab preys on older people. they make outrageous charges for their tests. they want you to sign a form that says that medicare "might" not pay for a test the doctor ordered. you do not know whether the test is important or not, and you do not want to come back, so you sign. mistake! now they have you. they charge a ridiculous high price to the older unsuspecting person. i had 13 tests done and medicare paid an average of $29.11 per test. the 14th test that medicare "might" not pay was really a ruse. quest charged me $241.84 for one test! use another honest lab. read more

Very rude service given. When we walk in, a very bad receptionist has computers set up for people to type in their name, their date of birth, their appointment TIME that was confirmed already by phone and then we are asked to be seated. My question is if we have already set up an appointment , why does the patient have to type in his or her information on dumb computer? What if the patient cannot walk? What if the patient is weak.? What if the patient cannot balance his or her gait? What if the patient is exhibiting signs of hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia, hyper tension or hypotension, or other ailments? This is utterly ridiculous. When I asked the receptionist why she cannot look on the computer to see the appointment...she responded in a very rude way not realizing that the patients can be sick and they need to be respected at all times. Definitely not a good location to go... Very displeased with the service! The reason why I'm only giving one star is because I cannot see an option to give a 'zero' star! read more

Waited over 50 for appointment, and now longer in the lab.This is very unacceptable since my daughter has been fasting and had Type 1 Diabetes!!! Checked in and that system did not work properly. Then the person checking in shouted to patients that they need to check in again. Got to the front finally, and asked to have information sent to two other doctors. I added the names as requested, but when we finally got to the lab portion the technician was so rude!! Do you have your paperwork? No, it wasn't returned me. When she returned to the lab she then double checked if I wanted to share the information with the listed Drs. I confirmed that the request was correct and then needed the phone numbers. As I was looking in my phone for the Drs phone numbers, she barked which number I was going to give her first. I told her to stop using a tone with me and my young daughter, so we can give her the correct numbers. She did change her tone, but do not waist your time here!! read more

So I have been to quest a few time and I have been helped by different people. Everyone so far has been nice. I have read some of the review on hear and I am a bit amazed at what people complain about. I had to wait about an 30 min or so the have blood taken out. I went 1 hour before they closed and I saw people trying to run in 5 mins before closing time and still mad because they had to wait. The manager Judy was very professional . She locked the door when it was closing time and 2 people were mad because they could get in . It was closed.. Common sense people. As a senior I know I am slow so I get to places early. I would rather wait then have them hurry up and get things wrong. People need to understand that those workers have to get home to there families . I have no issue with quest. I have more of an issue with the Rude people that walk in. I have a problem with people acting like they have no Education or common sense to get to a place early enough to have there labs taken care and then go and blame the workers . read more
