If i could rate this as zero stars I would. I have gone to this facility so many times in the past but today(6/18/21) I witnessed absolute rudeness from the employees. When I arrived 15 mins before my scheduled appointment, I fell in the long line to check in just for this lady to tell me that i need to come back in 10 mins. I came back (5 mins before my appointment) to then end up in another long line. The elderly man in front of me could not check in and was getting very frustrated with the ipad used to check in. There was no one behind the counter to assist and the line continued to grow. When a tall man finally appeared behind the counter, the elder man asked for assistance and without even considering that the man was old, the man behind the counter rudely said there was no one to help and that the elder man just needed to check in. He was obviously flustered and continued to struggle. The man behind the counter continued to speak very rudely to everyone coming up to the counter trying to check in. Whatever happened to customer service and just a general respect for the elderly! These employees need to get their attitude in check! I walked out annoyed with how they treat people! read more

Customer service is great. Everyone is friendly and attentive. I came here for a drug test/pre-employment as a nursing student. I do not suggest this place for a walk-in. You will be waiting over an hour and half. Make sure you make an appointment and do not make the same mistake that I did. I did not expect to take this long for an urine sample. I have been to many collection sites and not one of them had long waiting times. I understand the process, you take all of your personal belongings such as your hat, keys, wallet ectera ans it is put inside a lock box. This helps prevent people who buy fake urine and scam their way through screening. Then you get 3 minutes to do your business inside a cup. Make sure you are hydrated before you come in or you have to wait again in line. I arrived at 9:06 and my name was finally called at 10:06. I was greeted by a lovely woman named Karyn Jackson. She is a very cheerful lady. She knew I was in a hurry to finish my business. She was very fast and professional. I would come back to her only if I make an appointment ahead of time. Tips: if you are having your blood drawn make sure you fast for 12 hours a day before. So you do not come in hungry. Make a morning appointment not an afternoon appointment Tips: if you are having trouble to urinate just drink plenty of water beforehand. If you still cannot surge up the urge, walk it out and stretch. Try to relax your abdominal muscles or go to your car and turn on your air conditioner and come back. read more

This place is going down the drains. Giselle draw my blood couple of months ago and I told her to stop because she was digging in my arm without any blood drawn. At a result my arm became purple for a week. I have to do my blood work every six months, and sometimes when I came, Giselle called me couple of times to draw my blood and I politely refused asking for someone else to do it. Today, with an appointment, she called my name, again-politely I've asked for someone else and she said to have a seat in the waiting room. I was waiting and waiting and nobody came to get me. Then, I saw Giselle again and I asked her when is someone going to see me? Her answer was that the person who is going to see me has other 2 people to see before me. And I said I can be seen by anyone else but her. Then someone Alicia came to do my blood test. So unprofessional from Giselle to let me stay in the waiting room just because I didn't want my blood work to be done by her! read more

Terrible, no staff. Terrible check in process, staff doesn't know what their talking about and they skip over people because their short staffed always running behind. I tried to have patience with them but it's very frustrating. My appointment was at 2:20, a staff member told me to check in with a fake number to join the stand by list so hopefully I could be seen sooner. The kiosk gave me a number. An hour and a half later this lady comes out and said the system doesn't recognize numbers so I would have to get on the stand by list again putting me back at the bottom of the list regardless of them telling me what to do and not honoring my actual check in time. I leave and come back at 2pm the board says I'm checked in and that same lady takes three people ahead of me saying the system doesn't recognize me and I have to check in again regardless of the fact that I have been checked in for my 2:20 appointment since 11am. Wow, a simple blood draw for a basic test and you leave me bruised like this. I told you I had deep veins...I asked for someone with more experience than average. You insisted I had a "good vein" and proceeded to tap into it. I knew from the pain going in you went through scar tissue and this wasn't pleasant. 4 days later and my arm is still massively bruised! I can't believe how I was treated at this location. I had an appointment and I went in checked in, I didn't bring a mask and Adrianna called my name and very rudely said "where's your mask?" I said oh I don't have one, the text message says they are recommended and I have visited another location without any issues. I asked if she has one, she was once again SO rude, No, you can go next door to Dollar Tree and get one... I can't help you unless you have a mask. I told her she didn't have to be so rude about it and went to my car to find a mask... I came back and the door was locked!!!!! Needless to say I went to my normal Quest as a walk in and the amazing staff there helped me as a walk in client without any issues. They were giving people masks who didn't have one (I found mine) and were very courteous about it no so rude an demanding. Thankfully I was able to contact her supervisor. Just completely not acceptable. Yes I was frustrated at this point, some of us getting labs may be going through something pretty life changing and the last thing that will set me off will be the fact you have zero care or compassion in the world. Some people aren't meant to work with the public or in a field that requires someone to care. read more

It depends on which one you go to. I use the one on foothill Blvd by the Walmart shopping center. And I love it!!! They're always kind to me. Unlike the one on Lemon , which I was treated real bad bad by a lady doing my blood work. And it can change the results of your blood work when you're under stress. Came to get blood work done last month and today I had a doctors appointment by phone telling me that there's no record showing that I went. And also my arm was purple it took like two weeks to get better. There's no way to call back and speak to a representative despite pressing 6 to speak to someone. I was out of there about 30 minutes after my appointment time which is fine. The phlebotomist was super competent and friendly and the entire blood draw took under 10 minutes. Check-in staff was friendly and helpful. Good COVID precautions. Could be 5 stars if I didn't have to wait an extra 20 minutes after my appointment time but overall very good. read more

Went in today to have about 12 tests taken... I came fully prepared for the wait as I did not make an appt on line. The only appt available on line was closer to the noon hour and I didn't want to have fasted that long from the night before. So I took my chances got up early grabbed my books to read, kindle, Sunset Magazine etc etc. Parking lot is always full here, no indication of the wait inside though so don't be discouraged. Quest is located on the 2nd floor in the Southern Building which is marked from the street as "Grove Diagnostics" . The thing about these sort of places is that most times people are ill... coughing, hacking, etc GROSS anyhoo when I entered I was pleasantly surprised that there were only 3 people (counting myself) in the waiting room. I had barely wrote my name down @8:42am, when they called my name HOT DAYUM! I was thinking WOW really??? then they told me to have a seat in cubicle 2 and I was good to go. Karyn was administering my test today. SPECTACULAR bed side service. Bubbly, friendly, calming, kept my mind off of the amount of blood that was being taken. Very quick and helpful. The technician was friendly. I walked in, signed in, they copied my lab order and insurance card and had me walk right back in. There were only 3 people waiting when I came in. I tried to make an appt. online the night before but all the early times were taken. I saw on Yelp that they also take walk ins and I live close by so I took a chance. They are supposed to contact your physician with lab results but just to make sure I'm going to tell my dr. that I'm done. I was also told by my doctor that they would have my lab order online but I took a physical copy to them as well. Made an appointment for blood work at this location and came to find out that they were closed. I felt badly because there were a handful of others that showed up after I did. It took a few minutes for someone to come out and say they were closed due to their water being shut off. They have a system that shows them their scheduled appointments right? I had the best experience ever getting my blood drawn today. I first walk up and wait at the door as instructed and someone opened the door and checked me in and I waited not even a minute. I was taken right back and had my blood drawn and was out the door in less then ten minutes. Not only was it quick and easy the technician was so nice and friendly I honestly never experienced that at a lab everyone is usually so busy the don't even look up. Excellent 1st time experience. I scheduled an appointment before hand and probably waited 5 minutes if that to be called back. Check in was quick and easy as long as you have your bar code or confirmation # at hand. Front desk girls were ok, pointed me to check in and that's about it but my experience is based on my phlebotomist Patricia who was awesome!! I am such a huge baby when it comes to drawing blood; she was talking to me throughout the appointment, assuring me I was going to be ok, taking her time to find my vein, even placing a warmer since I was so cold (probably since I was on the verge of a panic attack lol) She informed me she would use a pediatrician needle (I'm telling you- huge baby) and that it was best to draw from my hand as to not poke around. This place was really disheartening and lacks empathy. I made an appointment this one, kind of far from my house because no other one had early times available. I arrived 20 minutes early, noticing everyone was having issues with their check in machine. There was no one in the front to talk to. I checked in after about 20 attempts, but it said no appointment found. I even had a QR code with the exact time, location. Finally someone came out and said my appointment was cancelled and they didn't know why! Frustrated I asked could I still be seen, and they let me know it was at least a two hour wait. Even other customers were like "let her go, she has an appointment," but they were rude and didn't try to be accommodating at all. I called the customer service number while I was there, who told me they were having issues with their system and it was down that day, probably causing my appointment to glitch. I told them this, and they said that's not possible. I couldn't make another appointment for another 3 weeks. On the good news, the girl who took my blood was friendly, but they really need to improve their system. read more

I was referred to here by my physician and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. I scheduled an appointment online which I recommend to do since it's so much easier and faster that way. Checking-in was easy too as there was a little tablet for that. Didn't really have to speak to anyone at the front desk. There were a lot of people at the lobby but I didn't have to wait too long. The people helping with the urine samples were very friendly especially the woman with the short red hair and glasses. She made me comfortable when I was in an awkward situation and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend coming here as I hear other testing places in the area aren't as friendly. read more

I love this location. I'm always seen super quickly, even as a walk in, and the staff is fantastic. I have very hard veins to find. People always have such a hard time drawing my blood. They poke me over and over and painfully fish. But both the people at this location who drew my blood found a vein quickly, did not have to poke and fish and didn't hurt me AT ALL. I look away because I hate watching people search for my veins and hurt me. But BOTH of my times here I didn't even know they had started drawing blood, that's how great they were! I easily found this location, checked in on the iPad and waited 15 minutes (with an appointment.) The drug test took 10 minutes and then I was out. It was quick and easy. One issue I noticed was that the iPad check in was difficult for elderly people. Perhaps this location can attend better to that population. **Just make sure you make an appointment online to significantly decrease wait time! I did mine the day before. read more

Made an appointment for a saturday at 8am. I walked in and saw that there were already 50 people in the waiting room, what a trip. This is my first time here, I checked into through mobile app. Apparently, the front desk was extremely backed up, best if you register ahead if time. I scanned my QR code and waited 20 mins tops to be serviced. The test took 5 mins, I was in and out within 30 mins. Not bad! The ladies that work here are amazing!! I'm Pregnant and had my three hour glucose test and Jacky was an Angel to have as my phlebotomist. She didn't cause me any pain and keep checking in on me to make sure I was comfortable and ok. You can tell she's passionate about her job and patients. Great location and great service!! read more

The front desk is so rude. I have been waiting over 1 hour and had an appointment but unfortunately was 15 mins late because I am new to the area and got a little lost. I notified her I was 32 weeks pregnant, have been fasting since the night prior at 8pm and it is not 10:40am. I have been here since 9:30 and simply asked how much longer because the board is not accurate. When I first got here it said 10 min wait and the receptionist/lab tech with glasses told me "well you want to come another day?!" Really women, all I asked was what the true expected wait time was because it's been a lot longer than the initial 10 mins from when I got here. I understand people have and need appointments to expedite the wait time but her attitude was so inappropriate and at the very least have the empathy to listen to my concern. Getting told by the doctor that you have to get blood work done is one of the most depressing things, since the doc is looking for something else that is wrong with you and then you have to deal with the lab, which most treat you like cattle. I made a reservation the day before and didn't even have to sit and wait, by the time my paperwork and documents were photocopied I was taken back. Went in for allergy screening and was told I was not going to get charged, but that they needed my credit card info on file. I didn't want to give my info as I've never been asked before to do this for blood-work, but they pressed me into it by stating a handful of times that I would not get charged and they acted very annoyed that I was hesitate and kept trying to rush me to obviously get me out of their hair. Two weeks later, I was charged $180 from them and called my insurance to find out that the fee is not reversible. Point of story if they ask for your card information to call your insurance first regardless of them pressing because I would have not done the work had I known and just feel that this facility is greedy, disrespectful, and exceptionally non empathetic for acting the way they did. read more

Quest Diagnostics - Empty and fast. No complaints - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Upland, California

This location provided the worst customer service I've received at a Quest Lab. The staff was not kind, they were quick to get people in and out in an impolite manner. One of the staff scolded me like a child for not wearing a mask, when I asked if she could provide me with one, she said "I only have one box I can't give you one, but you can go next door to dollar tree and buy one" I went next door to purchase a mask, and once arriving at the lab I was told "you took too long to get a mask" and that I no longer had an appointment. Lol, what!?!? So no matter what I did, it was such an obstacle to get serviced. I am a registered nurse, and the service these Quest employees gave was embarrassing, and as I fellow healthcare worker I'm ashamed and would never! These Quest workers have no empathy and it's obvious they dislike their job and it's unfair to patients like myself, and all the other patients who were in that waiting room the day of my visit. normally I would give this place a 5, but my visit today was horrible. I always request the room with the bed because I get lightheaded when having blood drawn. I got that, but the technician they assigned me - well I may have just as well gone to the butcher shop at Vons. his name was Leo and he was rude and crude with a bad attitude. if I ever get him again I will request someone else.
