I sat in the waiting room waiting for my daughter. we arrived before the place opened so she could be seen quickly and that worked. what I want to bring to the company as I sat watching seniors and some whose first language wasn't English, become very confused by the sign in on the kiosk. I helped several patients do their sign in. I saw one man, who was fasting, be confused, and leave to come back at 1:40 for the appt, because he didn't understand he could wait. now he's having to fast 6 more hours. all because he didn't understand. human contact is needed at the front counter!!! read more

My 95 year old mom would never ever have been able to cope with the check-in screen in the lobby of this office, this was her appointment so I'm glad I was there with her (also am I the only person who expects to get measles from check in screens?). But the thing is that once we got in, we were seen on time and out within 15 minutes. It was 100% spit spot efficient. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED ANY ANY OTHER MEDICAL OFFICE OF ANY KIND IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I went to quest for work related labs. Making an online appointment was super easy. You can choose from their multiple locations. You check in online this way you don't have to wait around. I think I waited maybe two minutes if that. I was taken to the back by a very nice gentleman. Pretty cool dude. He was quick with his work. read more

This is a review for specifically Eddie at the Hawkeye location to his superiors. I made an appointment for 3:30 pm which I thought was at the Tuolumne location. Come to find out I made it for the Hawkeye location. The person at the Tuolumne location was abrupt and rude telling me I was at the wrong location and they would not be able to help me at Tuolumne or the Hawkeye location because they closed at 4 pm. When I arrived at Tuolumne at about 3:45 Eddie helped me almost immediately and told me there were no electronic orders for my test in the system. He said he would give me some time to call the doctor and if he got the orders within a few minutes, he could help me. He got the orders, helped me, and was kind throughout the ordeal. What started as a frustrating ordeal ended great because of him. I wanted to recognize him and tell him thank you again! read more

This facility, in my opinion, is the best in Turlock. All the phlebotomists are friendly, efficient, and take their time to try to get your blood drawn right the first time. I have very difficult veins so it can be challenging. My family always request Christina. She is AMAZING!! I especially love how personable she is with all ages and she always has a beautiful smile. I went to Quest Diagnostics on Tuolumne Rd in Turlock, CA. Today and had a very pleasant experience. Christina drew my blood as gently as could be! She was so efficient and helpful to me. So, I have 3 major issues with this location. First - The laboratory is not adequately staffed. I arrived at 8:00am to have my blood drawn. I had been fasting for 12 hours. There were about 15 people in the waiting room with me. I wasn't seen until 11:37am. When I asked why I waited over 2 hours to have my blood drawn, I was told that there are only 2 people working the laboratory today because they had to cut back on hours. Second - The 2 employees who both handled my paperwork incorrectly labeled my blood and paperwork causing me to have to repeat at a different laboratory weeks later. This is even after I corrected the paperwork myself and showed them the errors. Third - The attitude given off by the employees was sub par. They acted like stereotypical disinterested Frenchmen. The worse part was that they did not follow current procedures for blood draw. They had me pump my fist and they left the tourniquet on for almost 4 minutes. Even if my blood had been labeled correctly, I would hate to see what elevated counts occurred as a result of these errors. read more

I've been to this facility on several different occasions and never had a problem. All the staff were friendly and answered all of my questions. Results came back for my doctor within 2weeks. Sometimes they do get busy, if you're in a hurry you can go online and set up an appointment and be seen sooner. read more

So rude. I think their staff changed and now they're more concerned about trying to be fast and forget that we're still human. Linda was rude, talked way too fast, and treated us like we were just another appointment. She gave us about 2 minutes to walk in before she skipped us completely and we had to wait for other patients to be seen even though we had an appointment. I won't be going back here. I'd rather drive to Modesto than be seen by any one in this building. read more

Went in for yearly physical bloodwork and Quest Lab wouldn't do blood draw until I paid up front $165.00. (covered 100% by insurance) I asked her to bill me, she said no, has to be paid before blood draw. My husband is in the other room (same insurance) and they did his blood draw no upfront cost. read more

I have had same problems as those others giving reviews. Long time waiting period. Staff attitude sucks. They are rude, act like they are doing you a favor & don't look at them cross eyed or else. They talk to you like they are mad because they have to be there. They have no receptionist or person at front desk so persons drawing blood are also doing their own paperwork & so they are very slow( probably slower than they need to be). What we need is a competing company so they can see that they should appreciate jobs they have because everyone is replaceable. The company also needs to have proper staffing so all people waiting to have blood drawn can get in & out. I would think that the money coming into company comes from blood draws not from paperwork. So if they had proper staffing then each can do the job they should be doing. They need to stop being so cheap. read more

Worst Quest experience yet. Had to take my nine month old in for a blood culture, was brought back by a blonde employee with glasses who was extremely rude and argumentative, saying services recommended by my pediatrician could not be completed due to my son's weight and tried to say I would have to come back over the next few days to continuously have his blood drawn. When I said I've had this done before in one visit, she said she was only following protocol and a "chart" they have. Sure enough, I go to the Quest on Tuolumne and imagine that, the bloodwork was some in one visit with absolutely zero need to return and might I add, every single person I came into contact with at the second location was friendly and helpful. Definitely not returning and definitely making sure to have my Turlock family/friends go to the location on Tuolumne for their services instead. If I had her name, I'd be filing a formal complaint. Obviously I'm a tiny fish in a big pond with this one, but seriously don't even waste your time. read more
