Quest Diagnostics - Ouch! - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Texas City, Texas

really talented staff with high skill levels. They get it right every time. Easy in and quick out with no hiccups.

Terrible. Took forever and ever when I had an appt. I rather drive up further and use more gas. They told me I didn't have any labs when I know for a fact I do. Ridiculous. Very rude too. read more

2024 2hrs waiting gave up and left, Lady talking extremely loud when asked about the one and only standby in the room. Yelling there are only 2 people working read more

This establishment should be shut down. I have read so many reviews that date back to 2019. It seems that the Quest customer service is just an automated response. This Lab has staff that are very rude and yell at the patients in the waiting area. They seem very comfortable being so rude to patients . If you want to make an official complaint do so by calling 908-895-8275 and they will call you back. The only way to get results is to let Corporate know that Texas City Quest is very unprofessional and to clean up all that toxicity in that lab. I am not going back and I will let my Doctor know . read more

Tried to call to ask a question before my appointment so I dont waste my time or theirs but I guess I have to waste my time and go. Could not speak to a real person in the phone. If I had a choice I'd never go there again. Putting my healthcare in the hands of a computer really ticks me off. Not happy with this service at all!! read more

DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT CLIENT BILLS ARE AND HOW THEY WORK!??? Quest needs to seriously either educate or understand who they hire. Beyond rude and no matter how slow or calmly I explained it to the receptionist who must of had the capacity of a brick, because she for the life of her could not understand what I was saying or explaining. When a order is put in and will be billed through a company, I should NOT have to provide a credit card payment, or have a DOCTORS ORDER for something through a job site. This is hands down, the most brain deadening experience I have ever had with another human being, and can honestly say that this location should be closed, since all the other reviews seem to reflect the piss poor attitude of these employees. read more

I had a very poor experience at this Quest location this morning. I had an appointment for a pre-employment drug screen and arrived 10 minutes early and was waiting in the waiting room. I had my 4 month old daughter (asleep in her car seat) with me. When the employee came into the waiting room to get me, she saw my daughters car seat and immediately rolled her eyes and stated, "no kids back here". I didn't arrange child care for my daughter today because nothing on the website, nor the confirmation email stated children were not allowed to accompany their parents. I drove over 30 minutes each way for this appointment. I am very disappointed that they did not let my asleep baby accompany to my appointment. I now have to find childcare and drive back another day. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. No matter how kind you try to be to the techs in there they are RUDE and unprofessional. Avoiding this location to drop off labs from now on. read more

Rude rude rude rude rude. Receptionist said they couldn't see me because I didn't have a hard copy of my lab request. I had an electronic copy and asked if I could email it to them and they said no. Another lady came over and took one glance at my electronic copy and started squawking about how they can't receive outside emails and that my doctor didn't fax them a request. I understand this establishment has rules they have to follow but both of these ladies attitude was unprofessional and they couldn't have been less helpful. Also, I had made an appointment and I received a confirmation email with instructions but it said nothing about bringing a hard copy. That would have been helpful to know. Once again these two ladies were loud, rude and unprofessional. Go to another Quest location. read more

i went on Thursday and there was only 2 workers a man and a women and it said about a 20 min wait. 3 mins later the lady pulled me to the back idk if it was the time that i went it was around 3:30pm no lines and they were really quick and super nice. i would go there again! read more

Let me just say this. My wife and I know our son. The last thing I want to hear is an attitude from one of the people working there because my wife doesn't like the way our child is being treated. We know how to manage him. Getting mad at us because we know how to keep our child calm? Who does that? Where's the logic? read more

Made an appointment and was right on time. They had all of my doctors orders on file and my nurse made casual conversation as I told her I didn't like needles. Definitely recommend making appointment because it was very crowded in waiting room I'm assuming most were just walk ins read more

Staff is rude and unprofessional. If you can, you should most definitely visit and lab or clinic in the area NOT named Quest. I've had the unfortunate experience of visiting this lab 3 times..... Same song and dance every time read more

Exceptionally rude front desk worker. Just a heads up if you are dropping off a sample for a minor, Put their information, not so clear on the instructions on the iPad. Oh and when you point that out to the lady she rudely jumps down your throat as if you are the moron. She could have handled it a lot better. Customer service is the lost skill of this world. Then if you have an invoice you have to go ahead and pay that to. At this point its early in the morning I am dropping off a sample to help my husband, the front desk has already treated me like a moron and bitched because I made any comment, bitched because I didn't have copy of my sons insurance card and now I just want to get rid of the rude lady so I pay the invoice I didn't even know we had. Grand start to my morning. We will never be going back. read more

This place is awful. The techs are ignorant, VERY ILL EDUCATED. Not to mention their abhorrent behavior.... lady had fake nails, didn't wear gloves and I didn't see her wash her hands I'm absolutely disgusted by this location. The lack of common sense and intelligence in this MEDICAL ESTABLISHMENT is appalling. This is why our healthcare system sucks. No accountability read more

I have been to Quest several times and have always been treated very well. These ladies are very efficient and helpful.
