Though I'm out of…read morestate and unable to be physically present with my nephew during his final days, Sweta has been my lifeline, keeping me informed with compassion, clarity, and kindness. She is more than a nurse; she is an Earth Angel. Her presence brings calm to chaos, and her ability to gently guide my family through this deeply painful process has been nothing short of sacred. Even while managing medical care, she never forgets the human heart behind it all. Her empathy, attentiveness, and intuitive care have wrapped my family in love when we've needed it most. Sweta, thank you for being the steady hand in the storm. You are the embodiment of grace in action. The world is better because you're in it. With a full and grateful heart, Sharon

Without the care they provided and relieving my stress I would not have been able to continue to work. So 12 years later when my mother-n-law was battling later stages of Alzheimer and we needed care that her palliative care team could no longer provide we again accepted care from Silverado. Thank God they were still in business. Special thanks to Angela Perez, Regina RN, Lynett Lewis CNA, Diane Smith LVN, Jillian Faustino LMSW and the entire staff.

It was very clean, the family and I really liked the simple but pretty artwork and the comfortable accommodations for family and friends who were visiting the facility. I wish I'd taken photographs and particularly of the artwork on the walls. It seemed very clean to me which is important and the staff was very nice. I met a couple of the chaplains and they were wonderful. One of the chaplains also followed up with the key family member after the death to ensure that they were doing OK and provide a grief counseling referral if needed. It's not easy being at a hospice inpatient facility, but there was a lot to recommend this place. Really good experience despite the difficulty of the circumstances.

From the first meeting with Mr Dickerson to the end of my grandfathers life, the staff were so great. They were always available but also never interrupted our family time. I am so thankful for this facility and absolutely recommend Harbor Hospice if you are in the unfortunate circumstance of looking for a hospice company. Thank you to everyone there for such amazing and compassionate care.

Someone finally came out and told the 25 people still waiting (some 10 hours) what was going on. When asked where you were in line, the front desk had no clue or was unable to tell you. Something needs to be done about the wait time. Second, once in the hospital room, the hospital phone in the room starts ringing and it was solicitors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! while I was in my husband's room, he receives 8-10 selling insurance. This is extremely disturbing to the patient as the patient think is it his/her love one - even though they do not have the direct no. to the room. I asked at the front desk and they indicated it had been going on for some time. Why do they get telephone number information in the rooms in your hospital?????????? I sure the news media is not aware of this. The nurses and doctors are very good once you get in a room. Thanks. SH

My Sister was at Memorial CIty Memorial Hermann requiring the Phillips V60 Bi-Pap at 100% oxygen…read more.. we only agreed to take her to Memorial Hermann Hospice after 3 separate representatives from MHH stated we could have the same or better equipment to provide my Sister 100% o2. There was debate if this was treatment or comfort. Our Doctor and the "3" respectfully agreed this was comfort. However, when we arrived at the Memorial Hermann Hospice the Bi-Pap was a small Phillips Respironics AVAPS, and the o2 was set to 45%. My sister passed within minutes of being on this lesser machine with much less oxygen. Why did they not increase the setting to at least 90% (close to the max for this model)?? And why did we not get the same or better equipment as promised? Are they liars or incompetent? Please visit this facility and visually confirm the room equipment before signing the hospital release papers... you don't have to sign them. You can stay at the hospital and be transferred to an Ltech room... but still have the required equipment for your loved one. Please visually verify everything they say they will provide... and ensure settings and oxygen are what is required for the comfort of your loved one.Your review helps others learn about great local businesses.
