Get to the facility last Saturday, it is 2 degrees outside, check in and notice THERE IS NO HEAT in the waiting room.I complain to an employee who comes to the door to call a patient, she says they know and have complained to management, but they do not want to invest in a heating system, just an air conditioner. My toes and fingers are starting to freeze at this point. After waiting in a freezing, crowded room for 1/2 hour, my name disappears from the board (my appointment was at 10:00) and people with 10:20 appointments start being called. I complain again and after some investigation inside, I am told someone will come and get me. 50 minutes after my appointment time, I am finally called in. Besides drinking a ton of water to stay hydrated for the blood draw, my veins are now "frozen" from the waiting room and it takes the nice nurse multiple times in different places to finally get a vein, a very painful experience. Now I have multiple purple and painful bruises in my arms. Quest, get your act together. With the amount you charge patients, the minimum you can provide is heat on a freezing day. read more

Awful!! 12:30 appointment and it's after 1:00, there is still three 12:20 appointments on the board along with two 12:30 appointments before me! What's the sense in making appointments? I'm on a portable battery pack oxygen concentrator and just hoping the battery lasts! Someone walked out when I was coming in and I thought it was a patient but it's an EMPLOYEE! She just came back in 30 minutes later with a roomful of people that she walked by when she left!. Twelve chairs and two people are standing! And the icing on the cake is they're the rudest bunch of professionals (if you can even call them professional), just the kind of person you want jabbing you in the arm with a needle! And the male working there is so slow, any slower he'd be going in reverse! Stay away from this branch! Went to have BW done. No person in sight. No one in waiting room. Computer took personal info then told me that no walk ins taken. Sat in the parking lot for 45" registering for site and looking for 2 back to back apts (two orders) early AM (fasting). Got apts for four days later. Hope I don't get stuck twice cause there's two apts. Lovely customer service Quest. Can anyone recommend a decent lab? read more

This has been the worst quest experience i have ever had. I was there from 750 (i was early as my appointment was at 830). I checked in at 820 and i had about 6 people ahead of me. At 855 my name was next to be called and then my name was somehow erased from the screen! A very rude woman, short blond hair, person of color came out and called someone who wasn't on the board. I explained to her what happened, and she said Well you must have been called!!! I am standing in front of her, so no I was not called. She completely ignored me and took someone else... i will NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN!!! Terrible customer service!!! read more

Saw online that this location accepted walk-ins. Went to have blood work drawn and signed in on the kiosk. Then the tech comes out and asked if I had an appointment. I said no. She says oh we don't accept walk-ins. I told her it's listed on your website as well as there is a sign right in the office saying walk-ins. Very unprofessional. Went to drop off sample for person other than myself needed appointment ok no problem, get checkin and it wouldn't let me go any further pain in the A_ __ . Quest worker just happen to be at the door with person upset he couldn't get the kiosk to work either, she was starting to get agitated as it's NOT HER JOB to check someone in, too flipping bad if they never took that window away we wouldn't have this problem, although she did help me and the man I'm sure she wasn't really happy but she did help. When another person asked for help she was not as pleasant and said I'm can't help you I have a patient waiting for me in the room, turned and walked away never to come back.... Quest you really need to fix your system or your employees they and I'm not just talking about this one person because I've encounter this at multiple different quest locations All your employees have the same nasty attitude when asked to help with Your kiosk. I will say this is very upsetting and frustrating for some folks including seniors who know NOTHING ABOUT COMPUTERS! Where has all the compassion gone. Don't forget to collect your money! read more

Please choose a different location to get your bloodwork done. Myself and several other people had all made appointments and had a wait almost 25 minutes while they took walk-in before those with appts. Totally unacceptable. That bathroom was dirty, no soap, hand towels or had sanitizer. Seriously - during a pandemic? Staff is rude and unprofessional. I will never return to this location! read more

Other people are coming out leaving the lab but no one is coming to ask us our needs. Bad bad service. I made an appt on Friday. fir Monday morning. went there checked in on the Self Serve computer ( joke). it said I had no appointment. tried 3 times. said I had no appointment. so I took a walk - in time. an employee came out to check on the main screen to see if the patients were on it. she said I didn't make an appointment so my name isn't on the schedule !! but said she' would put me on the screen and take me in. after that numerous more people walked in same issue. no one's appointments came up. there was seating fir about 8 people. by this time there were about 12-13 people all waiting standing around. plus the 8 sitting. then the employee tells each person we all checked in wrong ! and to redo it. I mean , if the system is THAT complicated that 70 % of the people had trouble it's a horrible system. I left after waiting an hour and watching more and more people walking in . complete circus. ! I left. I'll never go the Main St Stratford Ct location agsun. I'll try another location fir tomorrow. it's it's that bad agdin. in cancelling order with quest and find another lab. absolutely rediculous. why can't we just walk up to a PERSON at the desk and check like we used to. no issues THAT way !! complete screwed up system. zero stars for you Quest ! read more

I'd like to give more stars because I felt the phlebotomist I had was great, she was telling the other workers to keep calm because it was soooo busy. She was pleasant. But, the waiting room!! First of all it's NOT AIR CONDITIONED!!! it was 88° outside. People in the waiting room sweating and some sick. The kiosk doesn't get wiped off. Noone available to give instructions, and also people who haven't learned English yet are in there. It was a fiasco. The staff (not my girl) but others were cranky, mad and slamming doors. They are very short- staffed. In the days of an actual receptionist, it worked better and the crowds were helped. Many that come in there as I had 45 min. to watch do not know what to do. They are not computer lierate, some are older. Honestly, its too much. The directions when you step in are not clear. There are 2 kiosks and everyone was waiting in line to use 1!!! The signage is negligible. Please help the staff and get a new process. Help your patients by having a human guide them and teach them. Quest seems to be the only place around, so they come. Oh, and also, NOT ENOUGH CHAIRS. I have a cane and was standing until a Mother moved her young son so I could sit, and an older gentleman also asked. (Don't ask me about the young man on his phone sitting there like he was the only one in the room!) read more

DO NOT LET IESHA , last name unknown. (Eye-ē-sha) draw your blood. First of all she's extremely rude with an uncalled for unprofessional negative attitude. I took my minor child there. My daughter started to pass out . I asked her to stop drawing and she adamantly refused to stop the procedure. She already had enough tubes. I became very upset and again demanded she stop. She prevented me from keeping my daughter safe and wasn't concerned at all that she was blacking out. Instead she yelled to her manager "this lady is trying to stop me from taking her daughters blood". Instead of maybe calling for help for my daughter who was losing consciousness. IMHO she endangered my child's health, safety, caused her undue mental stress (severe anxiety) trauma. She's unprofessional, unqualified and a disgrace to the job and company . She had absolutely no remorse , She has never apologized. Quest refuses to say weather any disciplinary action was or will ever be taken. If you see her don't be fooled , I'm sure she'll act somewhat competent after her so called retraining. She needs to re-read the Quest policies and procedure manual, consider treatment in anger management, conflict resolution, working with the public , charm school and a class on basic human relations . Maybe she just needs a new job. If I could give zero stars I would . If this was my employee I would had fired her in the spot for violating company safety standards. I've seen dogs get better, more professional medical treatment . read more

This is where I go to have my blood work, the staff here is amazing. Very friendly, quick and excellent at what they do. They have more then one tech on call so it is very quick. I would definitely recommend the tech's at Quest. Thank you so much for all you do... Deb read more

Went up to desk to ask a question girl who drew my blood came over if I'd done something wrong...said she took care of me already! Just wanted a copy sent to my home. In any event felt very uncomfortable . Won't be back to That lab! read more
