I've been in the medical field for over 10 yrs now, and I was impressed with Tonya, from her positive attitude/personality/friendly demeanor to her professionalism. She always gets me on the first stick, no bruising and she didn't hurt me like techs usually do. Please give her praise, she is awesome and deserves it! I will be a returning patient at that Labcorp again just because of her, thank you Tonya good people like you do not go unnoticed!! : D

She was very rude and kept asking me why is was there, who ordered my bloodwork, what type of bloodwork and what DAY it was ordered. I had a few tests from different doctors. She finally ended up taking blood for both scripts. Fast forward to a few days ago. I go for follow up bloodwork. Again, she's rude. She asks me which doctor ordered test etc etc. I told her I want sure if it was my doc or his assistant. She gave me a hard time so I just walked right out! Who wants to put up with this nastiness? I've made appointments many times before, so I do not believe it was my fault. Told me to come back in two hours, even through I had to go to work 20 miles away and was fasting. I've never seen a business whose motto is "the computer is always right."

I arrived for my appointment 10 min prior to its actual time (after getting phone calls almost…read moredaily reminding me of that), I was checked in by reception and asked to wait. After about 25 min, I went to the front desk and asked how much longer I must wait - I was told, the tech is with other patients. In another 20 min, I went to the front desk again and ask again why it is taking so long to call me in - this time I was told that they will reach over to ask. At 1 hour after my appointment time - I went to the front desk for the third time and asked for my script back, stating I am not waiting any longer - this time, receptionist stood up and stated she will go in to check. In about 5 min, tech came to call me in, explaining on the way that there was "a glitch in the system" and she didn't see that I was waiting for an appointment; meanwhile, at least 4 or 5 people went inside for their tests - so there was no glitch in the system for their appointments? I find it absolutely unacceptable, especially since I went to the front desk 3! times to inquire why I am waiting that long. Additionally, when tech came to call me - that was someone I haven't seen previously taking patients back - so when I was first told that tech is with the patients - it was a lie. I am never coming back to this place. Do not schedule with them and take your business somewhere else if you value your time.

Get home to find out there's not even a "signature" on it. just says electronic signature and his name is typed. what's the difference between that and the app says that he requests it??? the only one that was nice and helpful was the receptionist who was filling in. The one at the other end just kept staring at me, trying to listen to my conversation (so I spoke louder so she could hear it all!). Now I have to reschedule but def not here!!
