I called on 11/26 and 12/2, left a message both times asking if they would please call me back, explaining I am very anxious about getting this done, I heard this tech was amazing, etc. NEVER got a call back. Come to find out I was calling the wrong Lab Corp, but even in calling the wrong office 155 Fries Mill Road could have called me to let me know that tech didn't work in their office. Each visit, the staff is incredibly kind to everyone, including me! I've been here with a line of people out the door, packed waiting room (more common in mornings), but also in the afternoons when I have had no trouble walking right on back to a screening room for whatever test I needed. They do offer online scheduling for appointments on their website and they also allow you to wait in your car for a text when you're up next! If you have trouble with blood draws, they have a room where you can lay down on a bed, and they've even provided me small ice packs to put on my head/neck when I felt unwell. For longer tests, such as a three hour glucose screening, they've allowed me to wait in a room alone in a big comfy chair, rather than the public waiting room. 4 stars because it is very difficult to call this location to speak with someone.

About ten minutes later, another staff member came out, called my daughter Olivia's name, and asked for her prescription so she could enter it into the system. We gave it to her, and within two minutes she returned and said, "Olivia, you're going to be very disappointed, but we do not do this test after 9 AM." It was only 9:20. We arrived at 8:30. (Anticpating that we would have to wait.) I asked for clarification, and she repeated that they only perform the test from 8 AM to 9 AM. I explained that we had been there since 8:30, but she just repeated herself, turned around, and shut the door. Afterward, I looked up the test and confirmed it can be done later in the morning as long as the patient is fasting. I then called customer service to ask whether this was official policy or specific to this location. The representative avoided answering directly and instead tried to schedule another appointment--offering afternoon times, which only added to my confusion. Based on this experience, it seems like this may not be standard policy but rather a decision made at this location. There were only a few other walk-ins at the time, so the situation could have been handled much better. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience, largely due to poor communication and lack of professionalism.

Took about an hour and was fine with the wait since I didn't expect to get in immediately, especially on the weekend. Everyone was super friendly. There were a few kids who were screamers, all right, understandable. But one of the girls who worked there was obviously a mom and really, really good with kids. She was able to calm them down and get them out of there pretty quickly. The gentleman who drew my blood was very kind, pleasant, and even gave me the bright red color bandage I wanted. PRO TIP: Have your health insurance card and drivers license ready to do the kiosk check in go fast. There is a screen that shows how many people are in front of you in line so you can guess what the wait time might be.

I thought I had a respiratory infection of something like that. The staff carefully examined me, took the requisite tests, and treated me as if I was a long time patient. In fact, I told the doctor that I have been looking for a doctor and I asked if they ever take patients ... you know making the Urgent Care their personal care doctor. Sadly, he said no. The most important part of my visit ... the life saving part of my visit ... when the doctor came back to the examination room he calmly told me I didn't have a respiratory infection. He then asked, "Which emergency room are you going to go to?" Wait, an ER? Me??? The guy who hasn't been to a doctor in ages ... Yes, underlying what I thought was a sinus infection was a heart issue that might have killed me in a week or two but this Urgent Care doctor calmly and professionally directed me to the ER giving a quick explantion of his concerns. One week later I had two stents in my heart and a new regimen of medications, which I would not have had if I had not gone here. He got it right ... I am alive and doing quite well. FIVE STARS ...
