I thought I had a respiratory infection of something like that. The staff carefully examined me, took the requisite tests, and treated me as if I was a long time patient. In fact, I told the doctor that I have been looking for a doctor and I asked if they ever take patients ... you know making the Urgent Care their personal care doctor. Sadly, he said no. The most important part of my visit ... the life saving part of my visit ... when the doctor came back to the examination room he calmly told me I didn't have a respiratory infection. He then asked, "Which emergency room are you going to go to?" Wait, an ER? Me??? The guy who hasn't been to a doctor in ages ... Yes, underlying what I thought was a sinus infection was a heart issue that might have killed me in a week or two but this Urgent Care doctor calmly and professionally directed me to the ER giving a quick explantion of his concerns. One week later I had two stents in my heart and a new regimen of medications, which I would not have had if I had not gone here. He got it right ... I am alive and doing quite well. FIVE STARS ... We have closer Quest locations to where we live but we go out of our way to go to the Sewell location. It's never a long wait when we've gone, the check in process is easy and the waiting room is bright and clean. The reason we go here though is the staff. Each time my daughter has to have blood drawn, everyone has been so good with her and tries to make her feel comfortable and will talk to her as they're taking the blood to distract her. The last time we went, she didn't cry once (and was very happy to get some stickers afterwards).
