They screwed up my endoscopy appointment with erroneous time slots that they didn't accommodate or have any real compassion or empathy.

As usual, the front desk staff were professional and courteous. Unfortunately, this was my first negative experience with the care I received following a procedure Dr.Patel and the anesthesiologist were both excellent. They were professional, attentive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. Dr. Patel was also informed of the negative encounter I experienced afterward and was very supportive and responsive to my concerns, which I greatly appreciated While I was in the PACU recovering from my procedure, Nurse Jean attempted to assist me with getting up. I informed her that my arm was hurting and that I was unable to move my left arm\. Despite expressing my pain and concerns, I felt that my concerns were disregarded, and she continued insisting that I sit up in a manner that I experienced as aggressive and rude. I directly informed Nurse Jean that I felt she was being aggressive and rude and requested assistance from another nurse. Given that I had just undergone a procedure and was experiencing pain and difficulty moving my arm, I expected my concerns to be acknowledged and handled with greater patience, care, and compassion. Following this encounter, Nurse Jen, who assisted me in the Rejuvenation/Recovery area of the PACU, and Jan, the Director of Nursing, provided assistance. Both were very professional, attentive, compassionate, and respectful. I sincerely appreciate the care and professionalism they demonstrated following such an upsetting experience. Having received care at the Endo Center since 2012 without a negative experience like this, I was particularly disappointed by this encounter. I want to emphasize that the remainder of the staff, including the front desk staff, Dr. Patel, the anesthesiologist, Nurse Jen, and Jan, the Director of Nursing, provided excellent and professional care. I hope my concerns regarding my interaction with Nurse Jean are taken seriously and appropriately reviewed so that patients recovering from procedures are listened to and treated with patience, respect, and compassion, particularly when they communicate that they are experiencing pain or difficulty moving.

He seems to want to return to a "family doctor: concept instead of having the practice operate like an Urgent Care. I recently neede a prescription filled, and the office actually called me to let me know the request had been processed by Dr. Reis. So, I would give them a try - you may be pleased with the results and care.

Let me start off by saying that the doctors here are overall pretty friendly, which is the only…read morereason my review is above 1 star. Jefferson is a conglomerate that has absolutely no interest in patient care or their respect for time. I have been coming here for 3 years since moving to NJ, and if it weren't for my PCP actually giving me pointers on how to schedule and get the right people when I have to call, I would have left a while ago. First, you can never call the local office or anyone there directly. You need to call the main 800 number, which is essentially a call center for their entire health system. Hold times are often long, and even when you get someone, aside from very basic info, they don't know the answer to anything. Luckily their app now allows scheduling, which is the other reason I lasted with them this long. I was having billing issues (Jefferson's error) at one point that took months for them to correct, because again, the info gets passed from dept to dept, person to person. Most recently was the last straw. I had a virtual appt with my doctor, who writes a prescription for me and tells me that the online script system is down, so I have to pick up a paper script. My schedule is hectic, but ok... I will try to make it work. He states that the office is open till 8 that day, so I should have no problem coming to pick it up after work. I leave work a little early and get there just before 7... and guess what? Building is locked. Ok. Pretty annoyed, I go home and figure I will come back on Friday, as I can get there earlier. Their web site says the office is open until 5pm on Friday (which I can't even call to confirm, because again, will get to the call center, that basically recites the same info as the web site). I get there at 4:05. There is a security guard at the desk, who tells me, sorry. Everyone left for the day.... What in the actual f***! Thankfully this script isn't life and death, but seriously how is it ok for a doctors office to close even earlier than their already limited hours without notice, not once... but twice that I even know of?? So with this review, this is it for me with Jefferson. If anyone has a great PCP recommendation, at an institution that doesn't make you jump through hoops just for basic things like appointment scheduling, hit me up!
