I have nothing but good things to say about this minute clinic and the wonderful Doctor Florence Snyder who works there. I was unfortunate enough to come down with a UTI within the last few days and I knew I needed medical attention. Of course I was thinking about what a pain in the butt it was all going to be, what with the cost and having to wait days for an appointment with my primary Doc.. Last time we received a whopping lab bill from my regular doctor after they sent urine that turned out to be totally sterile to the lab "just to be safe". Two words - MORE MONEY. More money out of my pocket. Anyhow, I originally tried to see the doctor at the CVS closest to my home. I went to the back and signed in. The screen said I was first in line and had a wait time of zero minutes. I was all set to be impressed but nobody came for me. I went and asked an employee what was up and she said"Oh, we haven't had minute clinic here for a very long time but there is one in Washington Township." (It was actually Sewell). If you ask me, it's pretty unfair to lead sick people to believe that the doctor is there and ready to treat them by leaving the sign in screen 100% up and running as though the clinic were still operating, not to mention the waiting chairs. I usually have lousy luck so I was all set to get to CVS in Sewell only to find they had closed their clinic as well. I was actually pleasantly surprised. I had to wait a bit for the doc, maybe 20 minutes because there was a patient in line in front of me. I know it seemed longer than it actually was because I was nervous. When I did see her she quickly took my insurance and other info and had it into the system in a jiffy. She quickly took my heart rate and blood pressure. I explained my concerns and she quickly provided me with a urine sample cup and pointed me to the bathroom. She had the results in moments and electronically sent a prescription to my local CVS. (Now I wish I had got it at that CVS as mine is always so slow and busy.) I really liked how she took the time to talk to me and treat me like a human being. I wish she was my doctor since the people at my Primary doctor always make me wait alone in the room for the doctor for at least ten minutes and then hurry me along. I am thrilled that she took the time to really listen to my concerns and give me tips on the subject. She even told me she hopes I feel better and that it was nice of me to offer to let the very sick 6 year old in line behind me go first. At the end of the visit she even gave me a detailed packet of my various readouts from testing and all my other info. This packet was chock full of just the information I needed to know. Payment was really easy and the visit was much cheaper than I expected. The minute clinic website stated the price as $79.99 to $89.99 but with my insurance I only ended up paying $30 out of pocket. I think I was in there no more than 15 minutes so it really was fast and effecient and beat the primary doc hassle by miles. I can't think of enough good things to say about this minute clinic and this doctor. If you can avoid your primary Doc and go here instead DO IT! I can't stress how much easier, cheaper and more efficient this was. CVS of Sewell, please keep Dr. Snyder around as long as possible! read more
