There's always a bunch of elderly here too--again, they don't seem to care about. Their systems are constantly down and are ALWAYS short staffed. Prepare for a 2+ hour wait at the very least!! Been here since 9:11 for a 9:15 appointment and still waiting right now at 11:19...MAKE THAT MAKE SENSE. At one point there were 25 people in the waiting room...WITH ONLY 10 CHAIRS. This was my 3rd and LAST visit here. Two out of three visits were awful but on 8/7 the jolly guy filling in that day was absolutely wonderful! Such a kind man. I honestly do not even know where to start with how grateful I am for Dr. Anamekwe. She became so…read moremuch more than a preceptor to me. She genuinely cared for me like I was her own daughter, and my parents and I are so thankful that I had the chance to meet her. I learned so much medicine from her, but more importantly, she taught me what kind of doctor I want to be. She showed me that being a good physician is about listening to your patients, educating them, understanding their lives, and always doing what is right for them. She is one of the most ethical, kind, patient, and caring doctors I have ever met. She is incredibly passionate about holistic and preventive medicine, especially metabolic health. She takes the time to teach her patients about nutrition, medications, and making healthier choices in their everyday lives. She truly practices what she teaches. She grows fresh herbs at the clinic and gardens at home, always finding ways to encourage her patients to eat better and take care of themselves. She also helped me personally change my own habits and take better care of myself, and I ended up losing weight. She listened to me and supported me through things in my personal life too. She cared about me as a person, not just as a medical student, and I will always be grateful for that. I had the opportunity to watch her work through complicated cases, recognize things that had been missed, and advocate relentlessly for her patients despite insurance or financial barriers. She taught me that medicine should never just be about money. It should be about caring for the person in front of you. Even after my rotation, I have heard so many times from her patients and other preceptors how lucky I was to learn from her. Her patients truly love and trust her, and I completely understand why. She listens to their stories, remembers the little things they tell her, and makes them feel genuinely heard. I still return to the clinic because I genuinely want to keep learning from her. I know that every time I am around her, I learn something new and become a better physician. My parents and I will always be grateful for Dr. Anamekwe. She has changed my life both personally and professionally, and she has shown me the kind of physician I hope to become one day. She did not just teach me medicine. She taught me how to care for people, and that is something I will carry with me for the rest of my career.

The assistant, instead of lowering my ankles down after picking them up, just dropped them back to the table. The first time, I thought it was a mistake until she did the second one and then dropped it as well to the table. RUDE! It was not appropriate and hurt my legs and ankles. The medical staff working were mostly professional in completion of their job. This visit left me irritated with several issues and less than likely to return in the future. January2022: 4: I received a call from this business last year and decided to book an appointment because I wanted to pay for a second opinion on my health care status. The location was a local community service center adjacent to a church. I arrived early, but I was not seen in a timely fashion, but was in communication with the workers the whole time. After 2 visits, labs were reported two…read moreweeks late, lab reports indicated that provider had spoken with me when she had not (Hoover), phone calls were answered by people that could not speak or understand English, and the staff members made disparaging remarks about other staff members at both visits! Hoover did not answer questions about some of the results and claimed that one result indicated trace amounts while, in fact, the amounts were considered significant findings. The provider also seemed completely different at the six-month follow-up, not focused at all on what she had said at the previous visit. I will not return. On another note, be wary of Google reviews that indicate 276 five star ratings! I have now had two bad experiences in Rockwall because I trusted the Google reviews.
