We arrived shortly after it opened, and parking lot was still empty, so I'm certain of this. Appointment fee is taken prior to seeing health care provider and front desk did make sure insurance was accepted prior to visit (this was 65+ MediCare). They also do not allow anyone to accompany the patient to the examination room. Indicate it is "policy". It matters not if the patient is a senior citizen or someone who just needs another person to also listen to make sure they heard everything right. My "patient" indicated that the PA that he saw was fine. However the x-ray tech, with 20+ years of experience was unable or unwilling to answer the most basic of questions, which included something as simple as the type of machine they were using (a machine with a label on the side he then looked for). This company is now owned by Care Now, which advertising states they have over 300 facilities. Perhaps it is company policy to be evasive, and not tell new walk-ins what to expect, so that patients don't leave immediately. Good luck if you are new to area and you don't have a primary care established yet. A non-life threatening issue like getting an x-ray for suspected fracture should be a simple thing and this type of facility should be a good answer for that service without filling up a traditional hospital emergency room. In this case, it wasn't.

NO REFUND for the amount they say would not be charged to begin with, and now I getting the runaround. , They lie about the services they provide, steal money after stating you won't be charged, and avoid contacting you when you request a manager. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. Check-in was smooth enough, but the front desk told us we couldn't be seen without paying a $210 copay upfront , which I understand is part of my out of pocket, but if you're acting as a walk-in urgent care/minor ER, there should at least be some sort of triage before forcing payment, especially when there's a chance you can't even treat the patient. When I asked if someone could triage my daughter to avoid paying for nothing, I was told that's not how they operate , pay first, then be seen. After paying, they checked her vitals and put us in a room. Three minutes later, the provider came in, gave a quick (maybe two-minute) look, and immediately said she needed to be referred elsewhere. From vitals to dismissal, we were in and out in less than 10 minutes , after paying $210 co-pay for basically nothing. The provider himself was friendly, but the front staff needs better training on customer service and basic triage protocol. There were hardly any other patients , the parking lot was empty , so there was no excuse not to assess whether they could help before charging. I will not return and I would not recommend this location to anyone. Next time, I'll drive past them and go straight to another urgent care that respects patients' time and money.

From a very satisfied customer:…read more Y'all, I found the best urgent care today in Rockwall. It is a hidden gem, in a little office plaza next to Culver's. It is Rockwall Rapid Care. I had checked in at Care Now for a time after 1pm. I finally get a text they are ready for me at 4. I get there at 4:05. I was one of 3 people in the office. By 5, there were about 20 of us. In that hour, only one person had been called back and I had not seen one person come out. I went to the front and told the unfriendly office staff I was going to leave. I get it. I am sure she was overwhelmed. She said why, there is not a wait, I just have not been able to get you entered. I said, oh okay. If it will be a few minutes, I will wait. I waited another 20 minutes and walked out. I was lucky enough to find Rockwall Rapid Care on Google. I was afraid I would not make it by 6, when they closed, they said they would wait on me. I get there, they greet me at the car and take me back immediately to a wonderful room with a reclining chair. The nurse comes in to get vitals and I fill out some paperwork and they told me to punch a button next to my chair, when I was done. 5 seconds later the doctor comes in. He was a delight. The doctor is an MD, not a PA. He told me what my problem was with a joint in my foot, gave me a shot and told me, I would feel 100% better tonight and he was right. So thankful I found this place. It is a privately owned urgent care and the care I was given was unbelievable. They charged me a $20 copay. I told them, I thought it was $50. They said don't worry about it, if it is more than $20, we will bill you and they sent me on my way. My husband went with me and we were both so impressed and trust me, my husband does not impress easily, when it comes to doctors.

I understand doctors do not normally insert IVs but he wasn't capable especially if it's an IV therapy location? I was charged nearly $100 on top of my deductible for a COVID test which I wasn't told before the test was done. I've never been charged that much for a COVID test. Even though I asked about the charge and told him my copay amount, they still overcharged me which wasn't discovered until I asked for an itemized receipt. At this ER you get fast attention and are treated with a staff that shows much care. The staff of Nurses, Doctor sand Admins that work here are some of the most caring that I've seen in an ER. They diagnosed my calcaneus fracture correctly when another ER initially said my foot probably wasn't broken. Recently I took my niece here after an accident and the Dr stitched her partially amputated finger and then reattached the nail. In a follow up at a hand surgeon she said the Dr in the ER did a great job and she didn't need to do further repairs.

I came midweek and I had an appt , I didn't wait long and the nurse was super nice taking my vitals I liked her. I saw Dr.Davison she was so nice and they tested me for Covid , strep and flu and thank goodness I was negative. I did get a prescription for my symptoms . The Dr let me know if I wasn't better by Friday she'd like to see me again to prescribe something else possibly but I was so much better by then. I'd come here again for care.
