Horrible service. No way to talk to an actual person on the phone. Waited for an hour only to find out they couldn't do the lab work.

I tried to call Quest and talk to a human with some questions. No such luck....they don't want to pay humans to provide customer service.

Easy, no appointment necessary, for lab work, part of the Providence network…read more After a doctor appointment on the first floor, the doctor requested lab work. I assumed I needed to head up the street to St. Vincent's Medical Center or the East Pavilion, but the doctor said, just go up to the 2nd floor and give them this paperwork. I said, 2nd floor of the Medical Center? No, just take the elevator up one floor. Note, building is in the process of getting painted so there were no signs (4/8/24.) After walking up and down a long hallway with no success, I stopped in a pediatric office and the receptionist told me the lab was in the hallway directly in front of the elevator. Walk across from the elevator, hallway goe off to right, about half way down on the right is LabCorp. The hallways are very sterile with small signage. Once inside, you do a self check in at the kiosk. The machine couldn't read my insurance card, no idea why, so I had to manually type in all the info. This happened to several other people so it definitely warrants being fixed. After that, I took a seat and waited my turn. Some people had set up an appointment so they were in front of me. There is a screen with people's initials so you can see where you are in the queue. My wait was about ten minutes. A little soft background music in the waiting area would enhance the environment. The technician was friendly, efficient, and most important, skilled. Hit the vein first time even though I was a bit dehydrated, and a minute later, done. I have an order for a repeat test for early June, and now that I know this lab exists, I'll stop here. There is a parking lot right out front, easy exit off 26, very convenient.

She refused to issue some of the referrals I needed and was condescending and inconsiderate. I specifically asked her to refer me to OHSU and she was commenting that the wait might be months out, so she would refer me somewhere else as well for the mean time. I made the very reasonable comment "Sure, because I might be totally healed by the time OHSU can see me!" (because my condition usually lasts weeks or months). She looked at me and said "Well, we can't see the future, can we". I have a family friend who owns a respected alternative medicine practice. He has experience and has seen positive outcomes treating Bell's Palsy with infusion therapy and recommended it. I asked Bryhana Charles for a referral and she looked at me like I was an idiot and asked in a demeaning tone "Well is there even research behind it?". She responded similarly when I repeatedly asked for an acupuncture referral, even though I have read that it does show positive results for BP. She refused to issue either of those referrals and now I have to be seen again to make that happen, which I don't have time for with a new baby and my condition. I understand if as a PA she is ethically unable to make referrals for a service that she hasn't studied the evidence for. I just wish she could have responded respectfully. Zero congratulations or even recognition that I had just had a baby. She was overall very impersonal.

Wow, I honestly can't believe how quickly I was in and out. The other reviews almost scared me off,…read moreand I'm so glad I chose this location anyways! Writing this in the parking lot now at 10:10, I walked in at 9:55 AM on a Friday, fully expecting to wait a few hours. The kiosk was easy to check in with, and I was offered a spot at 10AM with the option to wait in the lobby or go walk around until they were ready. I brought the book I've been meaning to read and didn't even get half a page in before they called me back. The gal working with me was super kind and friendly, and I actually felt super relaxed despite my medical anxiety. She answered all of my questions and got me in and out in minutes. I never leave reviews for anything, so I mean it when I say take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. All of the employees were very quick and kind, and it sounded like they worked well as a team to get people in and out. I wish I caught the gal's name, but if we talked about the tulip festival- thank you for providing exceptional customer service and care! You rock!

How hard is it to draw people's blood?! My husband is rescheduling his appointment, but wow, I hope this is not normal. This shouldn't happen.

My three year old needed an xray done so our ordering provider sent us here since we live right up…read morethe street. I called the same day the order was sent and they already had it in the system. Great! I was told x-rays are not scheduled and are done on a walk in basis. Anyone with small children knows that this is not ideal because it is difficult to wait with your child for long periods of time in a waiting room not set up for them. I looked online before we went so I knew there would be no kids area or reading materials. We decided to go mid morning when I figured it would be less busy. There was only one person in the waiting room when we got there and we were told by the receptionist that we would be up next for xray and that it wouldn't be too long because the last client before us just finished up. Great! We then sat down and waited. And waited and waited and waited. Over 40 minutes we sat in the room and waited. I was just about to go back up to see when we could expect to be called when someone finally came out for us. We were lead back to a room with two techs and they began trying to position my kiddo for the imaging to be done. One of the techs either doesn't like children or doesn't work with them often because she had a horrible bedside manner. She sounded irritated the whole time and was huffing and puffing when my son didn't understand the instructions she was giving him. It's not like we were taking a long time to figure this out, either. This was in the first 1-2 minutes we were in the room and she was already acting like we were just a huge inconvinence. He's freaking three, he's not going to respond to verbal instructions the same way an adult does. Overall, I left feeling pretty poorly about our interactions and experience. If you work at a business that serves children as part of their demographic, you should be expected to be cordial when working with them. In the future we will go elsewhere, even if it means we have to travel further.
