At 8am, a front desk worker opened the door and informed me the provider was running late due to traffic and something about other clinics being closed. She said she would bring me back when he arrived, and closed and locked the door, leaving me to wait outside. 10 mins later she opened the door again and said he wouldn't arrive until 8:20-8:30 and she would update my appt and that I could go to the coffee shop next door. She would not let me wait inside the clinic. She said she would call me when he arrived. I went to wait in my car. At 8:35am I went back to the clinic and the door was locked. She came to the door and said the provider was still not there and I asked to use the bathroom. When I was finished she escorted me out, again not letting me wait in the clinic. I told her I had a 9am work meeting and she offered to reschedule me. I said no, and went back to wait in my car. At 8:45 I decided enough was enough and tried to call clinic and cancel as I didn't want to walk back over there from the parking lot. The number routed to the main patient service office and I told them what was happening. The man was very nice and very surprised. He put me on hold and called the clinic. When he came back on the line, he told me they said they informed me of the situation and that the provider was coming from Newberg because the some clinics were closed. What difference does that make? We all have GPS and we all know what time we need to be places - not to mention AT AN URGENT CARE CLINIC. I asked him to please cancel and I would go to the ER. The clinic called me at 8:51am and told me the provider had arrived. I told them I had cancelled through patient services and she said I was still on the schedule. I told her no, I do not want to see anyone as this experience has been unacceptable. I'm betting they send me a no-show fee. DO NOT GO HERE under ANY circumstances.

My experience with AFC Urgent Care was absolutely appalling. When I went there seeking medical attention for wheezing, they refused to provide me with any medical treatment. Dr. Paul Park was extraordinarily rude, obnoxious, dismissive, and completely lacking in bedside manner. He also made inaccurate statements regarding a medical diagnosis. But the conduct that followed was even more disturbing. Despite refusing to provide me with medical treatment, AFC subsequently issued a discharge summary falsely documenting that a urine test had been performed during my visit. THIS TEST WAS NEVER PERFORMED. They literally documented a medical procedure in my records that never happened. And seriously, who performs a urine test for a patient presenting with wheezing? As if falsifying medical documentation were not bad enough, a few weeks later, AFC submitted an insurance claim seeking reimbursement for an asthma/wheezing diagnosis and this nonexistent urine test. They were attempting to collect money from my insurance company for medical services and testing that were never provided or performed. This is not an innocent billing discrepancy. This is a deeply troubling case of fabricated medical documentation followed by an attempt to obtain insurance reimbursement for services that never occurred. Initially, I gave AFC the benefit of the doubt and assumed this might have been an administrative error. I contacted them in good faith, emailed them, and called MULTIPLE TIMES seeking an explanation. Their response? Complete silence. They have repeatedly refused to return my calls or respond to my written communications. Their refusal to address this matter is absolutely outrageous. If this was merely an administrative error, why won't anyone take responsibility, explain what happened, or correct the fraudulent documentation? Why should a patient have to repeatedly chase a medical facility to challenge fabricated medical records and insurance claims for services that never happened? The combination of refusing to provide medical care, the appalling conduct of Dr. Paul Park, falsifying medical documentation, and subsequently attempting to bill an insurance company for a test that was never performed raises extremely serious concerns about AFC's business practices and integrity. I have absolutely no confidence in this facility. A medical provider that fraudulently documents procedures it never performed, attempts to collect insurance payments for those procedures, and then refuses to respond when confronted deserves serious scrutiny. Patients trust healthcare providers to maintain accurate medical records, provide appropriate care, and bill honestly. AFC has demonstrated a shocking disregard for all three. DO NOT GO TO AFC URGENT CARE. Take your business and your healthcare needs elsewhere.

Surprisingly, I have found Zoom+Care to be an excellent substitute for my previous provider. I even bring my kids to Zoom+Kids. Aside from the perks that come along with all of the Zoom+ locations (which are many, and a selling point on their own), I'd like to give a special shout-out to the PA, Lauren Small. I went in for a wellness visit, and not only was she incredibly helpful in helping me continue on my path to wellness, she also remembered me after over a year, and was very friendly and helpful with suggestions and solutions. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful, as well. I left feeling like I had some control over my health, and thankful for all of my friends at Zoom+Care. The cherry on the top is that I got my blood test results in my email inbox within 24 hours, with helpful comments from a Zoom+ provider. So, within 24 hours I was able to make an appointment, go to that appointment, have blood drawn for blood tests, AND receive the results. I, like many these days, have an extreme aversion to talking on the phone. Zoom+Care's robust online communication system means I don't have to talk on the phone with ANYONE, and that might seem like a negative to many, but is a HUGE POSITIVE to me.

January 11th, 2020…read more OMG It takes a lot for me to be '5 Impressed' and I will tell my local family/friends about One-Stop Urgent Care. I fell about 2 1/2 feet off of a step-stool and injured/bruised my Left Sacroiliac (SI) Joint... a hip joint. ‍ .. about that step-stool, I was on the second step and (stepping down) missed the first one and hit the floor like a bumbling fool (I 'went with' the fall), feet and butt nearly up and over my head. ...mind you, this occurred while taking photographs of families after an Army Nat'l Guard Brigade's Mobilization Ceremony; this happened in front of a particularly large family and the line of families waiting. The camera, you ask?... I've fallen a few times before, whilst doing photography gigs, which is why I've learned how to 'go with' the fall and I've kept the camera (Nikon D700) safe every single time (including this time)!! The Front Desk was efficient and professional; typical new patient paperwork. BUT THEN... I was taken back by the DOCTOR (not a Medical Assistant), who took the vitals himself!!! Also, I've never encountered an MD at a small urgent care, usually it's Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants. I've only experienced this twice, in Ireland and France; the latter of which they still do home visits!! Dr. Leaf was exceptionally competent and very personable. Once in the room, the visit took less than 20mins.

Dr Leaf was very empathetic, and I feel like he did listen to my concerns. He prescribed me a short-term anti-anxiety medication to help get me through my mental anguish and reassured me that while my blood pressure *is* high that I am not "in crisis" and agreed that my anxiety about it being high was only making it worse. Here it is a month later and I am happy to report that my blood pressure has significantly reduced due to my anxiety being under control. I'm regularly getting 138/80 readings which are still a tiny bit elevated but nowhere near where they were which does make me feel a lot better. Thank you!

They provide services for people traveling abroad, ID consults, and specialist referred for those with chronic infectious diseases such as the Hep's, HIV, and others. After more than a few visits I feel compelled to call them out. The Good: diverse group of doctors at practice, part of the Providence system, appointments not hard to get, office accessible via elevators and handicap-enabled parking garages, exam rooms clean and comfortable. The Bad: some of the non-MD staff desperately past the need for retirement and cannot effectively function in a modern, technological-heavy office setting. The do not communicate well within their office and do even worse when having to call outside their setting. They do not know how to properly manage their own medical data systems (EPIC, principally) and have the gall to tell patients not to use the system since they themselves can't handle it. This causes patients to suffer while the staff tries to circumvent the system they are supposed to be using. The Worst: only two of the doctors (Cover and Marfori) can be considered physicians. One of the other doctors named Tobias Pusch should not be seeing patients at all but rather be locked far away from people. He is very young, undauntedly arrogant, prone to fits of temper, doesn't care for many parts of his job, temperamentally unable to admit any errors, and does not actually wish to provide continuity of care for patients. He is not qualified to treat patients who need more than a shot for overseas travel or a simple issue, though he would certainly think in his deluded, youthful, inexperienced way that he is qualified to do anything. Classic case of inexperience, hot air & ego trumping minimal standards of clinical practice. It is unfortunate he is allowed to practice without supervision or monitoring as he is causing unnecessary suffering to who-knows-how many people. If you need a travel clinic or ID services, you're probably better off going to Providence Portland or another facility. At the rate the clinic at St. Vincent's is going it will probably be shut down soon or disbanded.

If you read Dr. Pusch's qualifications & medical background you will see he is not only qualified, but highly intelligent! The other review said he was arrogant. I didn't get this feeling at all. In fact, I feel he is the most down to earth & caring doctor that I dealt with at this clinic! I had suffered with Clostridium Difficile for almost two years. I had a fecal matter transplant on 12/21/17 & was allowed a consult with Dr. Pusch prior to my procedure. He answered all of the questions that I had. This is such a complicated field, however, Dr. Pusch's way of explaining was easy to understand. He made me feel completely comfortable about the procedure. I met with one other physician at this clinic & spoke with two others over the phone & I have to say that I felt Dr. Pusch was the most professional. I am so thankful to Providence Infectious Disease for not only saving my life, but greatly improving the quality of it, as well!
