New patient who drove 45 min for appt only to not be able to find the door. Suite 130 had a sign to go west entrance and walked all around for it to not be there. Called, sat on hold and someone so nicely came to find me only for me to walk around the whole building again in the rain to be told I missed my appt only being 10 min late. Horrible Experiences- I'm writing this as a daughter who had to step in and advocate for her mother after months of being ignored and dismissed by this clinic. My mom first reached out to this office about severe pain back in December, and from the beginning, she was not taken seriously. She described her symptoms in detail, explained the pain, and even told the provider she couldn't sleep lying down because of how bad it was. Instead of offering appropriate care, she was literally told by someone (possibly a nursing assistant) to try sleeping in a lawn chair rather than being referred for proper imaging or tests. An X-ray and EKG were done--even though she clearly said she didn't think it was her heart. She asked for more imaging and was denied. At her next appointment, the physician didn't even remember what she had told them. They pointed to a completely different area than what she had described. How does that happen unless no one's listening? To make things worse, they took blood and made her wait 12 days to get results. Twelve days. That is unacceptable. I finally went with her to an appointment and demanded they take her seriously. Only then did she get the imaging she should have had months earlier. That scan showed a mass the size of a grapefruit near her kidneys. We found this out through the patient portal -- no one called. No urgency. No explanation. Nothing. This turned out to be stage 4 Lymphoma. And if that wasn't enough, she was referred to an oncologist who was out-of-network. So now, on top of dealing with a potentially serious diagnosis, we had to navigate insurance issues and start over trying to find someone else in-network -- all because this clinic didn't do their job properly. This is negligent, unprofessional, and honestly, dangerous. My mom could have been left in serious harm if we hadn't pushed and demanded better care. She now feels unsafe continuing care at this clinic, and we are switching providers immediately. Your patients deserve to be heard. My mother deserved to be treated like a human being -- not brushed off, delayed, and sent to the wrong specialist. read more

I've been coming to this place for years and it's continued to cause elevating frustration. I've also had recurring issues with P.A. Emily Heath (not doctor). After a visit and a discussed medication, I called back to get it prescribed. The office confirmed they would see to it only to never have it actually prescribed. I went in for a more recent visit and ran into varying trouble. Upon arrival, the intake nurse (I'm assuming?) was rather cold and didn't do much to confirm the nature of my visit but made it very clear that my visit was only scheduled for 20 minutes and if I wanted to ask further, basic questions I would need to schedule another 45 minute visit. Additionally, she was unable to perform a blood pressure on me (via a standard cuff) and had to call in another staff member (I'm average in arm size, overall healthy and this should have been VERY routine). When PA Emily Heath came in, we discussed follow up to a previous visit in which I had made substantial changes based on recommendations (backed up by vitals/labs) but those were not acknowledged. We decided to proceed with medication and she indicated 2 options. I was VERY clear about a preexisting, rare condition that could be affected by a medication (and has in the past) as she was determining the med to prescribe; she was not familiar with it. She ended up prescribing one that, after starting, caused problems with the condition (which I went to the ER for). She ALSO was supposed to put in a standing order for a lab that I had to come in fasted for. I showed up and she had never ordered it so I had to ask someone to order it and come back, fasted, another day. Finally, they use Elation Passport (not MyChart/MyHealth like most other providers). It's garbage and not useful as a patient. This clinic sucks. read more

I must admit my first visit was kinda awkward. I'll take some accountability for the miscommunication with my appointment time and had to reschedule.. That said, the receptionist there at the time was a little curt. However, one bad apple doesn't spoil the whole barrel. At least not for me. I did have some reservation for my second appointment. I can honestly say.. "It was night and day!". I had an amazing greeting from the receptionist there and all the staff seemed to have a bounce in their step. All smiles, very welcoming and positive vibes! And Dr. Stanley Adamek is one of kind! I wished I had known about this Clinic sooner. I can't emphasize enough about this establishment. Rude front desk, lie about appointment times, then don't let me be seen by the doctor even though I was in the waiting room, checked in and waited 10 minutes. They had no problem taking my payment first thing and letting me wait 10 minutes to then be told I missed my appointments!!!!! Then i get a letter saying I have too many missed appointments and cant be a patient anymore, Mind you 2 are from 4 years ago during covid! I pay out of pocket for these doctor visits! The provider was great but they didn't bill until I owed almost $1k months after the visits...tried talking to them about this when a bill was finally received and they just insisted they HAVE been billing me this whole time both via paper and electronically, but my severe lack of electronic communication that says otherwise. My PA-C is the best primary care provider I have ever had! I truly feel like she is listening to me, and she is so timely when submitting prior authorizations for medication approval to my insurance. The worst customer care I have ever had. First by mis- diagnosis they put me in the hospital for 12 days. Then we worked it out and I continued my trust in them Because I believed the doctor was sorry. Then they recommended the Covid-19 vaccine. No hesitations no matter what age and physical health you had. Then with severe back pain had an intern talk about more meditation. Then with routine health questions and request for RX no calls back back the whole day I spite of waiting on hold ten minutes three times in one day when they promised a call back. Then asked to switch doctors within the practice the PA said fine that happens a lot but was told no way twice. Horrible practice - do not go here. Where do I begin? The doctor (who was OK, not great) we (mom & two adult children) started with left the clinic. We now had to get re-established. I (mom) set up a 9:00 a.m. appointment, but it was several months out. ONE week before my appointment, I got a call from the office. The new doctor was no longer going to do morning appointments and would have to reschedule for a 10:00 a.m. appointment. Now my son has a flu. We called in the morning and waited online, but eventually, we were forced to leave a message. At 2:30, they finally called back. They will not prescribe anything unless he comes in. Remember, he is SICK. He doesn't feel like coming in, and who wants to be exposed to someone with the flu? "Maybe he can get an appointment tomorrow ... let me transfer you ..." This place can't seem to keep doctors. They don't respect patients time. And they won't help someone who is sick! read more

I am so disappointed with the care I received at this clinic. My pneumonia lasted for 3 months because I had to see a PA that was very conservative in his approach to treating me instead of my provider because there was never availability. The office experience was horrible when I urgently needed to be seen, got stuck behind at downed tree clean up and was exactly 10 minutes late (policy is 10 minutes IS allowed) for my appointment. I called to let them know I was stuck and they said come in anyway. Once I got there I was behind another patient checking in and then heard the front desk person take a call saying he was marking me as a no show right then. I was standing right there! I am a teacher and do not get much time to care for myself. They would not make an exception. That is not putting patient care first. Such a disappointment. read more

AMAZING!! I started seeing Dr Tremain about a year ago or so. She is incredibly knowledgeable. I am a very difficult patient, health wise. Stubborn diabetes, multiple autoimmune disorders and mental health issues. Needless to say, I HATE going to the doctor. I have always been passed around from doctor to doctor trying to figure stuff out, it's exhausting. Recently she recommended a new medication for diabetes that even my endocrinologist never mentioned to me, my blood sugars are FINALLY coming under control and I am losing weight. I found this place through the ZocDoc app, which is basically Yelp reviews for medical professionals. It has the handy feature of pre-filling your medical history to save time on paperwork and sending appointment reminders on your phone. Something keep in mind: The friendly staff will ask to snap a photo of your face for patient records if it's your first visit. Dr. Michael Phelps (not the dude with 22 Olympic medals, sadly) was everything the reviewers said he'd be: Professional, courteous, and well-informed. I never felt rushed despite the numerous questions I had. Bedside manner was on fleek. My new patient visit consisted of checking vitals (blood pressure, lymph nodes, ears, etc...) and establishing a general health history. I was also provided with the option to have bloodwork done to test for STDs and cholesterol levels. All of the blood test analysis is done in-house, so you'll get to know your results during the same visit. MUCH more convenient than waiting on a lab to provide them weeks later. My insurance covered this since it was my first visit for preventative care, so I'd recommend having these done for peace of mind. Other cool little perks: Keurig machine/fresh water in the waiting room, an inviting interior décor, and restrooms that smell fresher than a Fabreeze ad. I think I found my new primary care doc. P.S. Called and registered my two year old daughter for an appointment. I asked if they were taking new OHP clients, and they said yes. I gave them my information, phone number, and my daughters health info. My wife took my daughter to the appointment about a week later, where she was told that they were not accepting new clients, or anyone with OHP. They hadn't bothered to call to let us know, and feasted a ton of our time. I would have understood if they had called me beforehand, or told me when I asked those questions. Dr. Tremaine and her staff are amazing! I felt so relaxed and the staff is so nice. They even have a dog in the front office to make you feel at home! Not to mention he is the cutest little guy! Every room is decorated to make you feel like you are in a 5 star hotel. Did I mention it is the cleanest healthcare facility I have ever been to. Not only was the staff and facility really nice but I only had to pay a 15 dollar copay with my insurance and they helped me work with my insurance to get a genetics test. No one tried to sell me insurance or medical mumbo jumbo they truly cared about my health and my families medical history. Had my appointment today and really had a pleasant experience. First thing I noticed was very nice waiting room with a well kept saltwater tank. I checked in and was soon taken back where Dr. Adamek and I discussed some issues I was having with my neck. After we spoke about my neck he helped stretch and manipulated my neck. He gave me some advice on what I should do after my visit and we also got some blood work and a flu shot taken care of as well. My 3 year old daughter is a new patient to this medical office, so we called in advance to give them our insurance information. They took all our information and made us an appointment. A week later we arrived at our appointment where they said they could not accept us as new patients because they were dropping the Oregon Healthcare Plan. This is extremely unprofessional as they had told us just a week prior that they would accept our insurance. Both my husband have been here and seen both doctors, as well as a friend of ours, and every time, they don't seem to take any symptoms seriously and are very hand-wavy about any concerns. The front desk lady was incredibly professional, efficient and greeted me with the most friendly of smiles. I was extra nervous my first appointment just because I usually have such a hard time. I hate writing bad reviews but I feel like this is something people should keep in mind when making their decision. I drove 30 minutes for my appointment and unfortunately between making a wrong turn and having trouble finding the correct building/entrance, was 11 minutes late. Now, I understand that I was late -- and that's on me regardless of the circumstances. However, the front desk couldn't have been less sympathetic. They informed me they have an automatic cancellation policy after 10 minutes and had cancelled mine accordingly. They had no sympathy for how confusing the building was to find, how I only missed the cut off by one minute, and that I had taken off work to be there. Their answers were almost robotic in delivery and downright apathetic. Additionally in their e-mails confirming the appointment there wasn't anything about this rigid late policy. This isn't what I look for in a doctors office so I won't be going back. read more

When I first called to make an appointment, as a new patient, I thought it was going to be a great experience. I was quickly proven wrong. When I first called to make an appointment, I told the girl I needed a Friday and she booked me a Tuesday. I called back and we got it squared away; I would be seeing Dr. Tremaine. The day before my appointment I had not received a reminder call so I called to double check when my appointment was. The girl said she had "forgotten" because they were so busy. I myself am a receptionist in a medical office so I was confused on how she forgot to make the reminder calls. Went here yesterday for the first time. The vibe seemed casual but a bit unprofessional. The front desk girl was friendly but the techs in the back had their phone on speaker so the patients in the waiting room could hear every word on the other end of the line. Got taken back and I had the ask the questions of where to go or what to do instead of being instructed by the assistant. The room was pretty bare and uninviting. After a few moments the doctor came in. She was dressed fairly casually and only carried a mac laptop with a stethoscope around her neck. She had none of my paperwork which I thought was a bit odd, but maybe they had scanned it in and it was there electronically. She asked me one question and that was about it. She didn't seem too knowledgable and repeated a lot of the same thing. She wasn't very personable and didn't put me at ease at all; in fact just the opposite. Not once did she go over ANY of the concerns I had written on my check in forms and she left it up to me to not only ask any questions but to just speak in general. Her bedside manner was terrible and after she answered a question she said "ok" and was silent for a good 5 minutes. It would have been longer but the awkward silence had me feeling uneasy. Then she stood up and listened to my heartbeat and said back down at her computer. Then without any mention of what I would be getting or the effects or how it worked or anything regarding the prescription, she said, "ok I called it in to the pharmacy." I then had to take it upon myself to ask not only how the drug worked, but what the hell the drug was! She told me, then just stared at me. I thanked her and walked out, completely uninformed and confused by what I was supposed to do next as far as checking out, paying, doing anything else, etc. Not sure why or how they got so many good ratings but go elsewhere!! read more
