I get my biometric screenings done here and they are so quick! The nurses are very nice and never dig to find a vein on me.

I had an appointment today- it was fine. The lady who walked in behind me- not so much. She was 85ish- could barely walk. She signed-and the person who worked there told we close in 10 minutes- no appointment means you won't be seen- and walked away. I came out from my blood draw- and asked if if she was ok- and she told me they wouldn't see her because of the appointment- I asked if she could make one and she said she didn't know how. The staff person showed zero empathy and compassion- zero customer service- and I'd fire her- because you know every senior citizen who can't make an appointment gets treated this way. It's disgraceful- and just because Quest is one of the larger labs- the employees can treat clients with respect and dignity- and courtesy Do better- don't be a blood ducking money grabbing corporate entity- but try a compassionate- caring health care provider. read more

Only go here if you've made an appointment. Their appointment system is a little strange. You call their number and I don't think you can even get to an actual person. The phone system walks you through everything and you make the appointment. When you get to the place you have to use touchscreens to sign in. Luckily, I made an appointment and was called within five minutes. There was at least four people sitting there before I even arrived, and I got called before all of them. Absolutely terrible experience. I get it, we are in a pandemic, you should make an appointment, but with their being zero appointments available, the website and automated service advising walk ins, and it being a clinic, you would assume that they would be a lot more accommodating. But being yelled at by one of the receptionists because we would not line up directly in the sun on a 100 degree day, being told that we need to 'work with her', and being told that they are allowing walk ins as a convenience to us (even though the website and automated system says otherwise). It was just the worst experience I've ever had. They mentioned multiple times that there are only 2 people working, and said the city had mandated that we cannot line up in the shade because they don't want us "on the grads, bark, or any landscaping". I waited outside for more than 1 hour, and in the waiting room for another hour. Just for a urine drug test. Ugh. read more

Going to Quest diagnostics merely to pick up a testing kit and drop it off when completed has been one of the worst healthcare experiences I can recall. Let me briefly explain why. I don't think their problems have anything to do with the staff. The staff are tasked with jobs that, frankly, they should not be doing. If they are lab techs or phlebotomists then they should tasked with those jobs. You can see how stressed the staff are there because they are tasked with office administration, patient visits, and (some, not all) on-site testing. Quest has NO front of office staff. The office itself is behind a locked glass door. It feels like you're at a prison with a touch screen as your interface to the world. There is no possible way to talk to a human being with Quest unless you have their secret, local office number. Quest has opted for the model of inefficiency for the sake of inhumanity. If that statement doesn't make sense, that's because it doesn't. I am convinced that given the volume of work Quest Diagnostics undertakes that their current business model is operating on pure greed. My recommendation? Don't go to a Quest Diagnostics office if you can avoid it until Quest changes their model to have human contacts over the phone and front of office staff at their locations. Make sure you save your confirmation number!! I tried double-checking my appointment time online the night before and was surprised to find there was no record. I found a screenshot I had saved (thank goodness) and was able to doubke check my appointment time. When I tried to check in, in location just before the appointment time, I was surprised to find (again) there was no record of my appointment (even using my driver's lic. To check in!!). Then, I had to wait 20 minutes before even being seen! Once I was checked in, I waited (again) while the nurse had a lengthy conversation with a random person in the waiting room wanting a walk in appointment; Although that was understandable, no one else checked on me (and there were several other employees who were having conversations around me) and no one offered to step in and help her, or step in and check on me. Absolutely the worst treatment I've ever received. I showed up and my name was called, and there was no greeting, no hello, just, "Here. Pay." I mean, I'm not expecting to be best friends with anyone, but I do expect professional courtesy. My doctor's order stated that I needed a butterfly needle for blood drawing. The nurse who came to fetch me said, "Follow me." I said, "Wow, they're keeping you busy here, aren't they?" I was trying to make small talk as we walked. She stopped, turned around, and yelled, "NO, NOT REALLY!" So, in the room where they draw blood,she asks me to verify my name, address, and phone number. I started with my name, and then gave her phone number. I was then going to give my address. Well, she was furious that I had given her my phone number before my address and asked, "Is that really your address? Are you dumb or something?" OK, so then I knew I had to keep my mouth shut. She said, "Roll up your sleeve." I responded, "I need a butterfly needle." She harrumphed and stomped out, "I'll check if we still have some." Lady, it's not my problem, I thought. So then, she comes back in with the butterfly needle and tells me to roll up my sleeve. "Ma'am, my doctor put it on the order. I need a butterfly needle. Many a nurse and doctor have not been able to find a vein and turned me into a pin cushion." "Roll up your sleeve." I complied, considered walking out. She checks my left inside elbow, tapping it for a vein with no luck. "Roll up your right sleeve." Still no veins. "OK, fine, Give me your hand." Now, I'm bracing myself for pain. And sure enough, she jabs that needle into a vein on my right hand, my writing hand, and yells at me. "Are you making a fist?" I shake my head, no. So she gets the six vials of blood, yanks out the needle, and wraps my hand with tape. "That's going to be sore and swell." No sh*t, Sherlock. DO NOT GO TO QUEST. They do not care about patients. Every Quest location I have used has been a terrible experience. The Waite times, lack of staff, and in the case of this location, no front desk to resolve questions. I had an appointment scheduled here for me by the VA, and their system had no record of my appointment. Finally was able to ask a representative and they walked me through the checkin process I just completed. She was pleasant, but the overall customer service support is grossly lacking. This is most frustrating. Other locations are no better. Go to LabCorp if you have a choice. read more

I've been to this location twice to get blood drawn by Alida she's amazing. Super gentle and worked fast! I never have to wait super long when making an appointment either it's always a in and out experience for me. I did my hr glucose test today and got here at 940 for my 940 appointment and left at 11am. I had a bad experience, they made me feel uncomfortable. The customer service in this location is very bad. The employees are rude, disrespectful, and they basically talk yelling. I wish I can put -1 star to this location, unbelievable, people that is working on the zone of health don't care about the customer and neither their job, you can see that in the way that they treat you. They have to love what they do. My technician name was Valerie and she was extremely nice and very professional. Sign in is done on two iPads at the front window area, I did not see a nurse or receptionist at any time in the window area. It has been a while since I stepped into a Quest so I am not sure if this is standard operating procedure now. Quick and easy process after that. I had a completely awful experience today. my new employer requested a drug screening. I was treated very rudely by the guy conducting it. I have had multiple abdominal surgeries and issues and I have a lot of trouble urinating. he began banging on the door and telling me my time was up when I was trying to pee! I couldn't get enough in the cup so he told me to dump it out and drink water. I went back in after about 10 minutes of drinking water. I told them I was back and they made me wait another hour after I repeatedly asked when they were taking me back again. finally I asked to see the supervisor and she RE ran the code and told me the test was canceled because I left the building! I usually call but since there is no option to speak to an office manager I guess you'd rather see your reviews here. How rude they were yesterday. I came in for my appointment waited about 10 minutes (mind you my daughter was on her 30 minute lunch break to bring me there). I was called to the back I don't remember her name. First thing she did wrong IMO is call me Mary. I AM 70 YEARS OLD I EXPECT TO BE ADDRESSED AS MISS FIRST NAME OR MS. LAST NAME. She made me stand while she did what the receptionist used to do and that is check me in, ask about insurance. She then points to where I can sit. I tell her they always use a butterfly needle because my veins are so small. Well, she leaned towards me to tie the strap on my arm I noticed her mask was not on properly. I said to her, "I can see your nostrils" at which point she pulled her mask over her nose and said, "like this?" I answered "Yes." I probably should have just asked her to pull up her mask but really she should know how to wear a mask properly. How many people did she assist with her mask down halfway her nostrils? How many people told her it was improper? Probably none. She then realized she needed someone else to draw the blood because she didn't want to stick me too many times. After the other young lady came in, I noticed the first young lady talking to another co-worker and I heard the word "medium." I said is that about the needle because that is too big. Then she says we don't have any more butterfly needles and it's going to take at least an hour to get some delivered. I said oh no I'll have to reschedule and she nonchalantly said we were going to suggest you reschedule. OMG that's it no concern what so ever for what I have to go through to get there. And to add insult the young lady says out loud as we are walking to the door "I don't know what's wrong with this lady" to which I replied "there's nothing wrong with me." The last time I was at Quest I was stuck FIVE TIMES. Three times by one person and the second person two times and she finally got enough blood drawn. I have very difficult veins they are small and hard to keep open once penetrated. I did not complain then because I know there are a lot of new people back then in 2021 and now in 2022. I am reporting this because I want the customer service to improve and the young ladies there to have SOME compassion AND RESPECT. ALSO THEY SHOULD KNOW HOW TO WEAR A MASK PROPERLY. They need the N95 masks since they are so close up in our face to draw blood. I was double masked and still felt vulnerable. Many folks just take the poor customer service because they are probably used to being treated a certain way. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE and QUEST needs to do better. This office is convenient to where I live, but I really am not comfortable going there after these last two visits. I didn't reschedule either because I do not want to have to deal with them. I'll have my doctor's office do it on Monday when I go for my physical. Would have been nice to have my results to review in person with my doctor. Ehh, my experience was okay but very similar to going to a DMV in the morning. Imagine being at the door at 7 a.m. with about 15-20 people at the waiting in line. After making it inside and registering there will be a waiting room then 40 minutes to an hour pass there will be another waiting room for patients to wait in. Two long waiting rooms so impatient individuals prepare and take notice before coming here, bring a book, smartphone, or magazine for entertainment. It's safe to say this location is clustered but even with making an appointment coming here early while fasting it's still a headache. If the process was more streamlined or if another location open up around Metrowest/ Millenia maybe this location wouldn't be so bombarded. It's not any of the staff's fault they are amazing at what they do but any place that gets compared to a DMV experience is bad news. If I have to use them again I will make an appointment at 3:00 p.m. noon. I am pretty sure not many choose to fast for bloodwork around that time..hopefully. read more
