After that phone call, Gwen came out and essentially yelled at everyone saying how appointments are precedent over anyone else however, there were people there in the waiting room with appointments. They had been waiting well over 45 minutes past their appointment time. When Gwen called me back to the room finally she was very cold rude unfriendly and just looked extremely angry to be there. Only one person was in the building and it was a front desk attendant. They told him that they were indeed the only person there and there was no other providers or even nurses in the building. This is UNACCEPTABLE. He was transferred to another location because he was unable to be seen because no one decided it was a good idea to show up to work on time. I will be reporting this to corporate as this is not the first bad experience we have had at this location. We will NEVER go back and will always opt for a further drive to receive better care in the future.

This time I was seen within minutes. I gave the co-pay and she took my blood. The used a thick rubber band to take my bloodwork. The wrap she used afterwards was the elastic type I appreciate (doesn't stick to my Wookiee arm hair). Then quick bathroom visit (regular labs) and I was done. The whole visit was less than 15 minutes and highly professional care.

It was later confirmed that this is a frequent response to pediatric patients that come to that location and that there is one particular provider who always says the systems are down or they're not working. I inquired if their machines would be up the following day in the event that my son needed an x-ray and I was told our system should be back up tomorrow. The doctor chimed in and said it should be charged up. The nurse then suggested that I go to Total Access Urgent Care. I told her I prefer not to go there and she said I don't blame you. It's very unsettling to know that because these providers are lazy they turn patients away that need help. My children and I been Mercy patients for years and never have I had this type of encounter with a provider. Rude and lazy!

However, when I presented the insurance card, it was clear my information had not been added. When I asked if it could be updated, I was told there was nothing she could do. She also appeared visibly annoyed and rolled her eyes when I asked her to verify address details. To be fair, the physician was kind, prompt, and provided good care. She is also the reason I gave three stars instead of one. However, first impressions and front desk interactions matter. If the goal is to create a more welcoming and patient-centered urgent care environment, I would strongly encourage attention to the front desk experience.

34 y.o. Male 6'0" 375 lbs. I was diagnosed with…read morehypogonadism (low testosterone) by a different doctor about 9 months ago. Was treated by him (different pills) for about 6 months with zero affect on my energy levels. I quit going to him and tried out Man Up. The doctor and his staff were super friendly and welcoming. They ran some blood tests and I started treatments after the results came back. Within a couple of hours after taking my first treatment my energy levels came back to where they were in my 20s! My wife, kids, and I are all ecstatic! I have been treated by Man Up now for a few months and they have been very thorough with testing and making sure the treatment has not been negatively affecting anything (which it has not been). The only issue, which was addressed and fixed this week after my last bloodwork, was that I was feeling lethargic the last couple of days of the week before my next weekly treatment. We just split the dosage to take twice per week instead of once. Pretty sure that fixed the issue. I am so thankful to Man Up for the return of my energy. I truly feel like a new man.
