I have been to this lab a couple times before and received horrible service. Staff was rude and the technician was a complete bumbling idiot. I was very hesitant but since I hadn't been there in quite some time decided to give them one more try. I was so pleasantly surprised at the improvement in professional care. I arrived five minutes before my appointment time and they took me back immediately. A wonderful technician named Katie took my blood so effortlessly - I was amazed. I didn't even feel the stick. No bruises. No bleeding after completing the process. And absolutely no pain! SO, if you need blood lab work - go to Quest and ask for Katie. She REALLY is that good! read more

They never answer their phones, you can not get a live person for anything. They called old phone numbers that I did not put on the forms,so how would the test results come to me without them using the phone number I put on the exact form. Were kind of busy when I went in to drop specemin, so took awhile to be able to just drop it off. read more

OMG... This place needs a manager to deligate the people coming to the employees ... Been waiting going on 45 mins and they've been picking and choosing who they want to see. WTF! This place sucks... I have been to Quest Morgan Hill for all of my pregnancy blood work. I have rarely had to wait more than a few minutes and have been treated very well at every appointment. Tiffany has taken my blood each time, and she is quick and makes the experience as painless as possible. Their hours are also extremely convenient. I would recommend this office highly! read more

The place is generally efficient but it's small. There are only 2 rooms and with a combination of walk ins and appointments, it makes for a long wait if you don't happen to have an appointment. The staff is nice and seem like they run the office as best they can. They should definitely have a third person to manage the front desk as it looks like the techs do the bloodwork AND manage the front desk. read more

The ladies who work here are great. I've been going here to get my bloodwork done the past several months and it's quick and painless each time. The only downside is that this location is small which makes wait times in the morning a bit long. However, booking an appointment online ahead of time will let you avoid the wait time so long as you come on time for your appointment. read more

I go in early. They get right to my case. I have been there 4 times the draw is painless. They are excellent.

Walked in once without an appointment and felt so claustrophobic. The waiting room is so small and filled with hungry pregnant women and creepy old people. On top of that, they have a 2 hour wait. After an hour of standing in the middle of a can of sardines, I left without any blood work being done. The staff seemed to disappear a lot and there was one person called in to the small office every 30 minutes. I'm assuming they were the lucky ones with an appointment. A week later I made an appointment and to my surprise when I walked in, the waiting room was empty. I didn't even need an appointment that time around. I guess it's hit or miss here. read more

Can not call and talk to a human in customer service. Only option is automation. Absolutely unacceptable. Any health care facility that doesn't care enough about its patients enough to answer the phone has no business in patient care. If there is another option for you... take it. read more

Look out for the rookies. Wife came home from a simple blood draw looking like a bruised pin cushion. Two failed tries then a more experienced person took over. Third time's a charm, I guess. On a good note, they do give priority to those who make reservations over walk-ins. read more

I cannot believe how poorly we were treated at Quest Diagnostics in Morgan Hill. We had an appointment and the receptionist was terribly rude at least 3 times. She spoke in a derogatory tone, didn't answer simple questions and appeared to be bothered by doing her job. We did have an appointment, but after a short wait and my 3rd rude encounter I left the facility without completing the tests. read more

I have been here multiple times and had extremely positive experiences but today, I'm very disappointed at how rude the phlebotomist was. I came in hoping to complete a one hour glucose test prior to closing. I did not expect to skip in front of anyone but hoped I could get the drink since I have to wait an hour anyways. (I don't know how these things work, first time doing this...!) I signed in at 244, and waited patiently at the desk to ask if this was possible. The phlebotomist working walks up to the counter, looks straight past me to a gentleman sitting and says "you were here first right? I can take you". She completely avoids eye contact with me when I'm clearly standing there to ask a question and takes the man back without so much as asking me to sit, or telling me she will be with me in a minute, etc. I decide to sit down and wait and ask her when she's done. 13 minutes later (257 pm) I try to slowly ask "I'm sorry, I was hoping to do my one hour glucose test, I'm not trying to skip ahead just wondering if I can get the drink and continue waiting". She looks behind her at the clock, half-laughs and says "you can't do the test now" and she very rudely pointed to her list and said "I need to work through the list, I can't just take you ahead of others". For the record, there was one person ahead of me... Not that it's the most important detail but to get an idea of how "busy" it was. Now I get it, she was obviously overwhelmed and I understand being stressed, but this is no way to talk to people who are just trying to ask a question. I realize I came in cutting it close and was open to the idea that it may not happen today but to be so rudely dismissed and flat out ignored when I walked in and stood at the counter obviously hoping to ask a question, is absolutely unacceptable. Also as an aside, Quest, you have 3 signs posted when you sign in that says to let someone know if you have a timed test, which I do in fact have, and was just trying to ask about/ "let the staff member know" (exactly what the signage says). I left, sat in my car for a few minutes and decided to go back in and figure out how this works so I don't make the same "mistake" again. Plus, I don't like being upset and wanted to try and get a better outcome and give her benefit of the doubt that I just caught her at a bad moment. When I went back in I told myself to smile and just ask "ok, so this didn't go as expected, but when I do come back to do this test, what should I expect, I just want to make sure I can get it done next time"... The first thing she said to me was "look how busy I am, I just don't have the time to explain things to you, I'm already a half hour behind schedule..." Again, I'm sorry you're stressed, I get it, I'm an RN and we run behind schedule constantly and it's frustrating but to tell someone that you don't have time to explain how things work to someone that doesn't know how they work...(?) how am I supposed to know? (Does that make sense?) It was just disappointing to be treated that way when I truly truly was just asking a question, trying to see if I could get something done when I knew and was prepared that it might not happen, but just hoping and wanted to try. Our conversation continued and did improve by the end, I could tell she is a good person and just extremely overwhelmed and overworked. Quest, get another person in there. To have one person having to do everything isn't fair, I understand her stress and she shouldn't be put in that position where she feels like she can't answer questions and help people navigate a confusing system that is unfamiliar to many. For how much I get charged for these labs, I'm pretty sure you could hire a receptionist to handle the questions and logistics of everything so the phlebotomist can focus on her job and not feel so overwhelmed. Patient care and satisfaction should be a priority for you. read more

The office is great. They always do a great job in drawing my blood. My complaint is the bussiness office is making the collect payment they are NOT due. My insurances in partnered with them and I have NO copay what so ever. They told the computer (bussiness office) said my portion would be $71.00 My insurance pays all. I had to call my insurance and have the person on the phone tell them I owe nothing. How many other people have the ripped off. Not cool what quest is pulling. read more

Today was my first visit to this lab. I arrived about 1:20 pm and was the only person there. The technician was very friendly and efficient. Since it was my first visit, I needed to fill out a very short form and have my insurance card photocopied. The procedure of drawing my blood was painless and we had a nice chat while she was doing it. She gave me a card with the phone number to call to make an appointment in the future. Don't see a need to do that since it was so quick and easy. Great place!!! read more

Third time getting blood work done in 3 weeks. Every time i have an appointment but i still end up waiting over 30 minutes without being acknowledged by an employee. I have plenty of time to read their posted pledge on the wall multiple times referring to their fast customer service and values. I have to come in during my work day and have wasted so much time sitting watching employees walk past me like im not even there. I highly do not recommend coming here. Gilroy is the next closest and i will be going there from now on read more

Short and sweet: Monday morning, should be open at 7 a.m. staff shows up at 7:30! The place is full of clients, (no place to even sit). I'm 3rd in line and Diabetic,(sugar is dropping like a rock below 60). I ask the question: Don't you think you owe all of us an explanation why your late! No answer from the staff. I asked to be taken care of very soon as to not pass out from low sugar, AGAIN nonresponse. Talked with a supervisor,(who wasn't present), and the district manager about the problem. They said they would get back to me. So far it's been 5 days! This wasn't the first time I've had this happen at this site. May I suggest the office in Gilroy? Much better service. This place is great! I had to have a blood test and read all the reviews for my local Quest labs and became very worried. While Morgan Hill is a bit out of the way it was so well worth going there. I am a real chicken when it comes to "blood things" and I was very nervous. The lady who drew my blood was wonderful, I needed 7 vials (for a full Thyroid panel) and she distracted me by asking me questions as the process went on. She didn't hurt at all, I didn't feel a thing and I did not even have the tiniest mark. The place is as clean as a new pin and, although I had an appointment, I arrived an hour early just in case I could be seen on a walk in basis - and I was. There was no wait and the reception was wonderful and welcoming. If you have terrified yourself by reading other reviews on Quest come to this one, it is the very best. read more

The service has gone downhill from the last time I was there. The previous staff was very courteous and professional. They always addressed you with a smile when you walked in and signed in.
