I have been very happy with this Quest until today. I had an appointment at 9:10 and was called in right away, I was the 2nd on the list. The lady asks me for the lab orders. I tell her the doctor sent them. She said they are not in the system. I tell her I have them, she tells me go back to the waiting area and send them to Quest email. I do that right away and tell them. But then, they forgot about me. Patients go in and out. When I ask when are they going to see me. The lady at the door said: oh she is busy with a patient that has 3 orders. Then, I ask again, the same lady said another person will see you soon. Finally, the same girl that saw me first did my lab work, after an hour of waiting. The service at Quest has changed a lot. It used to be a lot better. Make sure you have an appointment and the lab orders are in the system before you go to Quest. read more

This location is the worst don't ever go here the people there don't help you for nothing. I had checked in on my phone and then I had to check in in some machine. They have there waiting there which I'm a diabetic. They have all these appointments late the woman there and the front is helping people have no patience when no one pour the elderly that gets there and can't do anything with the machineand they're very rude so I had a problem that my labs were in we're not in so I had to leave she told me to come back. This by far is the worse and RUDEST QUEST Center! Waited 33 minutes for my appt. Which was to drop off a sample! Once I was called the girl told me to wait cause she was on a personal call! Quick check in via kiosk, friendly window/counter staff, and a staff member who not only made the lab work painless and virtually effortless, but whose humor and warmth were truly welcome! Even people with appointments had to wait. I was a walk in and expectes to wait but not 6 hours!! There should be either one person for walk ins or at least after attending 4 appointments, take a walk in. No consideraction whatsoeve. Awful almost through and through. Please do not come here for any testing as this company and the people who work for them DO NOT CARE. First of all, yeah ok I waited 50 min for my appointment, not crazy, but ok I get they can be busy. Once I waited almost an hour for my appointment, I was then told that I had to have bought a test online, where nothing says that when I made my appointment online or when I was looking through their website. NOTHING. Now I was lucky enough to have a lady tell me to order them in the lobby and she'd do the test for me after almost being kicked out after waiting an hour for my appointment with nothing stating I needed to buy a test prior to coming in. Now I took my tests, it's been 3 days, and how nice are they to only load half of what I asked for and the other half for two days has just said in progress. I didn't even know it was possible to not post all resists from a test. This has been one of the worst experiences with a company I have ever had. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I had two appointments at 6:40am for my two girls, one of them 4 years old and the other 8. When we arrived and entered the clinic at 6:30am, one staff member asked us to step out, and wait outside. The waiting area was full of people without appointments who had just signed on the waiting list, and most of all people with confirmed appointments had to wait outside, on a place full of mosquitoes, and standing outside... then what is the purpose of booking an appointment almost a month ahead? I spent more than 10 minutes clapping outside to prevent mosquitoes from biting my girls. So disappointing!! After reading the reviews here, I understand that Quest do's try to honor their appointment schedule. However, my experience is that they are very poor when it comes to walk-ins. The impression that's given off is that they don't care for the walk-ins. Yet, it is almost impossible to get an appointment on short notice. There should be some kind of system to serve the walk-ins OR DON'T ALLOW IT. You can't give the impression that you will serve them, yet not follow through in an efficient and effective manner. read more

I went to Quest Diagnostics and made my appointment online because the day I went with out appointment the line was too long and I can't afford to loss time at work. The online appointment service was easy. I had interaction only with two people in there, the front desk lady who asked me for $100 as the fee for the lab work and didn't tell me that I was not being charged the $100 to my credit card and it was only to hold it until my insurance pays. I found out about this after I called the billing department. The other person I saw was the guy that did the lab work and he was very nice and friendly with me. I have been going to this facility for years. I always make an appointment specially now with COVID. I get reminders of my appointments with the code I need to register. A few minutes before my appointment I get a text with a link to preregister and they send another one when they are ready for me. They are always very professional, courteous and friendly. read more

I have always had a positive experience with Quest. Until today. The young lady attempting to take my blood seriously needed training. The usual procedure is to ask the patient to make and release a fist and then the needle is inserted in line with the arm. This person never asked for a fist and inserted the needle at 90 degrees to the arm. She jabbed the needle in and started poking around looking for a vein. No luck, so she withdrew the needle and tried again, poking around inside my arm. It was a painful and pointless exercise. I finally had to tell her to stop and get someone else to do it. She acknowledged my request and proudly showed me the ten drops she had collected. The next, more senior, woman did one jab, filled three vials and said, "Have a nice day". read more

Lights on inside so I would imagine there was definitely workers there. I'm outraged to have rushed over here and not been able to get attended when you have a sign that specifically says walk-ins are welcome. read more

I visted this location recently without an appointment. I showed up around 8:30am on a Thursday and was in and out within 45 minutes. Not bad at all. They fit the walk in's in between the people with scheduled appointments. The staff was frindly and the phlebotomist I saw was really great. I have very difficult to find veins and she was patient and only had to stick me once. This Quest is in the Sedano's shopping center on Kendall drive. There's plenty of parking in the lot. read more

Visited this location recently with my son. I easily made an appointment online, for the same day. Arrived way ahead of time but the place was empty so we were seen promptly. Receptionist was attentive. Nurse, not so much. She wasn't rude, I just expected her to be more kid friendly (it was my son who needed to have blood work done). All in all I was ok with the service, since it was an easy process to schedule, sign in and get seen. I would return to this location. read more

Visited this place about two months ago. The young man at the desk could not find the order so I had to call my doctor. I was concerned as the place was packed and they were apparently short staffed. Luckily my doctor is very organized and they were able to give me the order number, then the young man says it was here all along! I sit back again to wait and a nurse arrives, perhaps late, and the young man jumps and screams in order to frighten her. She gets upset and ensues a discussion on his behavior. Meanwhile there are more people standing in line and no places to sit. I wouldn't want the staff to be morose but a tiny bit more professional wouldn't hurt. read more

This review is for the Quest on 88th and 162nd Avenue in West Kendall. The map shows it on Flagler near the Palmetto for some reason. Quest makes it easy to set up an appointment by providing a tool online to pick a date and time and it will give you the closest facility that works the best for you. You don't need to make an appointment because they do take walk ins, however, people with appointments take priority in the waiting room. Most of the time I wait maybe 5 minutes before being seen by the receptionist to check insurance and to verifythe reason for the visit and then maybe 5 more minutes to be called to have blood collected. I'd say on a normal day the whole process takes no more than 15 minutes total. Staff in every Quest that I've been to have been very nice. read more
