The location is excellent with ample parking. The center is very clean and the waiting room comfortable. The receptionist is wonderful and very professional and friendly. The woman who drew my blood is completely INCOMPETENT. She needs to be properly trained! She kept the tourniquet on after finding my vein and insisted I keep my fist closed She kept tapping my arm under the needle to make the blood flow faster. I have had a lot of blood tests over the last several months as doctors fret over what could possibly be wrong with me. My wife says it simple. Because I am not wearing tin-foil on my head I have been abducted by aliens and they are residing somewhere inside my body. However, what's the real story here? I have been to most of the Lab Corps locations around the Greater Miami area. I have found that some of them do not have sufficient parking and some of them are dingy and dirty. Almost all of them do not have staff that speak very good English. But, I was very pleased to find this location where the staff spoke a little bit more English, but more importantly, the place was super clean and there was free valet parking. I have visited this location twice for different tests and in both occasions they called me to the front within 10 minutes of arrival and within ten minutes later I was done with my test and on my way. The location is very easy to get to, you just have to know that you have to turn down the side street to get into the parking area. And when you get into the elevator go to the fifth floor because it is in Suite 570. This Suite listed in Yelp is the wrong Suite. read more

Not the most professional. Nurse was screaming out patients conditions and what was going on with who... pretty embarrassing for some. Wait was a little much considering the number of staff there. Nurse was not the greatest so I got poked a good number of times due to just plain old inexperience. Definite pass for when it comes to bloodwork. Yikes. read more

I got to the lab at 10:50... I was seen at 2:00 p.m. People who came after and did not have appointments got in before me because they knew the lab technician. This is definitely not professional. Although there is a check in machine which should prevent people from cheating the wait line, the technicians are still giving preferential treatments to those they know. read more

Every time I come in it's the same problem. My prescription form has the correct codes, and yet the receptionist demands that I sign an ABN form agreeing to be responsible to pay "because Medicare and my insurance don't cover the tests" -- which they do. When handing me the forms the receptionist says "Don't worry. The insurance will pay." I refuse to sign the forms. I don't know why the receptionist at LabCorp makes this demand saying "don't worry -- the insurance will pay". Can this possibly be legitimate or is LabCorp looking for double payment? read more

I had an 8:30am appointment and arrived around 8:15am. No later than 8:16am I was greeted by their friendly staff. I sat in the chair to get my blood drawn and couldn't believe it was done so quickly. In the past, I have felt the needle, but this time it was painless. I couldn't believe I was out the door in less than 20 minutes. Thank you to the friendly staff for ensuring I was well taken care of. I appreciate the prompt and friendly staff. I was very happily surprised today when I showed up at this address on SW 62nd Ave at 7:15 am without an appointment, hoping to get a rather large blood panel done. Only three people in the waiting room, not 65 as I'm used to in many of the Quest labs around Miami. The building is elegant, the premises of this business sparkling clean, the receptionist very pleasant and assuring, the technician helpful and totally competent. AND CLEAN!! Everything was in immaculate order. I was out the door 45 mins later. I'm so glad my insurance decided suddenly to drop Quest Labs from their list of vendors; I would not have looked for another lab if that circumstance hadn't forced me to. I'll definitely come back here. Valet parking (although not needed in the wee hours of the morning), coffee shop in the building for those of us who need to fast before the test. read more
