I scheduled an appointment online and there was no indication anywhere during that process alerting me that I needed an order from a doctor for this. I had an upcoming appointment for a physical - my doctor's office has no lab right now - so I thought I'd get ahead of the game and get my blood work done ahead of the visit. I get to Quest at 6: 30 AM and am asked for papers. I had NO idea what they were talking about. I then made an appointment at WellSpan where the first thing asked is "do you have a doctor's order"? I was NOT impressed with anything about Quest based on this. How many other people must waste their time with this place. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. They said they close at 3:30, it's even in the sign on the door, I came on Friday and at 3:25 the doors were locked. I came again today at 3:11 and the lady said "if you are here for a drug test we stop at 3:10". It doesn't say this anywhere so I have now driven 30 minutes from home and back for this test and now I have to come again. read more

Welcome to the cattle pen. Talk to the computer, sit down and wait for hours. My doctor sent in an order, nobody I can talk to, tried to sign in at the kiosk, it told me my number and to sit down . I can't even find any way to see if I'm even really checked in. Signed up for my quest after a huge battle with their so and it is not showing I even have an appointment, nor my number. If you expect to show up to an office with a front desk, don't bother. The office is sterile with only a tablet and chairs to check in. No matter what you need to do, even if it's as simple as handing them a piece of paper from your doctor, DO NOT DO A WALK-IN APPOINTMENT. I expected to be able to stop in, drop off my paper and leave. Instead was greeted with a tablet and a chair for more than an hour. Their system prioritizes online appointments and seem to assume walk-in appointments don't have lives or jobs they need to get back to. I understand the employees are just implementing the system that Quest has set, but this is terrible. The only way to deal with this in a timely manner is to schedule an online appointment. Not to mention that I tried to show up a week ago to them being closed for renovations with no clear information online about it. read more

Bonnie L swore up and down she would send me a zero balance bill to indicate I was completely paid off. Instead, I got a repeat of my previous bill. She lied, and Quest are liars. I googled the billing adress given, and it appears to be the actual company. If I let this go, next month I will receive the same bill which I was told I had already paid, if I ignore, then on to a collection agency. I think my next step is not to call Quest again and be lied to for a 3rd time by these criminals. I will go to the HR where I work and see if they will intercede. I know for a fact my insurance company paid the bulk of this, but Quest Diagnostics is engaging in "double dipping". They are getting paid by the insurance company and then seeking to collect the money anyway. read more

Today I went there and ended up in a predicament where the staff member was yelling at me and pointing her finger in my face on two separate occasions because I expressed not being happy with the customer service. I didn't appreciate how I was being treated and how I witnessed someone else being treated. As I was sitting in the chair with my sleeve rolled up, waiting for the male phlebotomist to draw my blood, the female was getting close to me while yelling and pointing her finger at me. I told her to get her expletive finger out of my face. I should not have to enter a place and end up feeling threatened. I thought I was going to get in a fight today and end up in prison. Extremely unprofessional. They treat people poorly. I didn't walk in there with an attitude, however after dealing with them, I felt triggered. When you end up so angry that you are shaking, that is never a good thing. If Quest continues to allow patients to be treated in this manner, it is only a matter of time, it will destroy their business. You don't threaten patients, or anyone for that matter. Period! They act ghetto as hell in there. Do better! read more

AVOID THIS PLACE !! Went there for basic bloodwork. Place is FILTHY DIRTY! There were only 2 staff available as they were very short staffed. I don't blame them because they were trying to handle everything. They put my information in the computer and it crashed !! I was told to go wait again in the waiting room. This is an update to my update that's long overdue. Aside from service issues there's one test I highly recommend you do NOT get here - the c-diff test. For whatever reason they just can't seem finalize this test in a timely matter or even at all. I have three experiences that I'd like to share. I had the test done in June 2018. I never got billed because my insurance took care of it, however I also NEVER got results. My doctors office called several times over a course of 30 days and we never did get results. Thankfully I didn't have it as I improved, but never heard a peep of results from them. My grandson had the test sent to Quest thru his doctors office. Again, no bill because insurance covered it as a preferred provider. Weeks and weeks pasted and multiple calls by his pediatrician till results were given. Negative. Hubby had the test, sent to the Quest lab thru his family provider. He was very ill and his condition continued to get worse. I reached out to his doctor's office who contacted the Quest rep and was told the timeline for results were in the 12-15 day range, which the practice manager also felt was unacceptable. She was shocked as she didn't have that knowledge before and knows the severity of having this condition. He became so ill that he was hospitalized..... twice. Thankfully during the first admittance the hospital repeated the test with their own lab and had results in less than 2 hours. Positive. Even with treatment this a serious condition and he needed another hospitalization to recover. Thankfully he went in, otherwise he could have died waiting on test results from Quest. He had the test done by Quest the first week of November 2018, it's now January 2019 and we STILL haven't gotten results from Quest...... But they were quick to send that $300 bill because he hadn't met his insurance deductible. It'll be a cold day in hell before they ever get that money.... So out of three tests they gave results for one and collected payment for two from insurance. Fraud much?!? read more

The front staff lady was very rude, she didn't want to be there ... you could tell. But when I got in, usually early sat morning I was seen quickly the kind sir was very very good at his job got me the first prick and nobody else can! For blood work they know they're stiff and I'll never go anywhere else, sat mornings is not a popular time so very little wait time. read more

I went to this location for a pre-employment drug test. I arrived over an hour early and was the first one there but wasn't seen until after my scheduled appointment. The staff were incredibly rude. One employee straight up YELLED at me and another patient in front of everyone else in the waiting area because they were closing in 45 minutes and we were "taking too long". Both employees were consistently sighing and rolling their eyes at patients which made everyone in the room incredibly uneasy. My fiancé was along with me and even she was uncomfortable in the room. Due to this horrible customer service I was denied a position I worked hard to obtain. read more

My Quest location has been out of fax toner for TWO WEEKS. So when my provider sent labs to be done today via fax and I couldn't make an appointment, I had already sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes when I was called back and told that no faxes have come through and that they would need to be relaxed to a different office and then somehow emailed to this location. Perhaps that could have been established when I walked in so I could have called for those orders before waiting a half hour?? I'm not here because everything is fine. I'm here because of a problem. Maybe the staff working here could get that fact through their heads and treat people like people and not numbers. read more

I usually like Quest, but STAT requests take 6 hours, which can be a problem if you need results quickly. You need to tell your door to write STAT on the lab order. The only problems I have had with Quest is when I made an appointment because the website said the lab was open on a holiday, but it turned out the lab was closed!! Some of the labs were open, but not the one I selected. Another time, I went and they were closed with a written note on the door "be back at 3 PM". I had an appointment at 2:30 pm and waited till 4 but nobody came back. Not good when you are dropping off samples!! Beyond these points, I find them pleasant and efficient. read more

I bought a test kit online and then set up an appointment through their automated phone scheduling service. I went in at my appointment time and I was done within 10 minutes of my scheduled time. Friendly staff and no problems. read more

Quest is not processing walk-ins unless there is a cancellation. I waited 30 minutes and left. Do not understand why a sign cannot be posted on the door that states "Appointments Only." Going to Labcorp. read more

I meant to post a review December 2017 after my last visit here. My experiences here (4) have always been positive. I have had Juanita every time, and she goes over and above to be sure everything is done well. Her technique is very good, and if she happens to "miss" (once), she never probes. My comment has basis: I say this as someone who is very experienced drawing labs and other needle stick procedures ; )... and a very difficult person to stick, myself. Other Quest labs did not process the test correctly... Juanita always checks to be sure her work is accurate. We have never had a significant wait, either. Being open longer hours would be nice... read more

I've been going to this same Quest Diagnostics for the entirety of my time here in Lancaster. With how sick I've been, it's been pretty often. I've asked to have the same woman draw my blood every single time- her name is Juanita and she's amazing. Fantastic phlebotomist with incredible care towards patients. She's honestly the only reason I go to this place. I needed the test done today, and wasn't able to get an appointment, so I decided to be a walk in and wait. And WOW, did I wait. Quest normally closes at noon- but with 20 people in the waiting room, the two women working were forced to just close the door and keep working. They didn't get a lunch break. For the entire 45 minutes that the clinic was supposed to be closed, they continued to work. When I finally was taken back- a full TWO HOURS after I'd arrived, it was explained to me that that it was just Juanita and the girl she was training. Who the heck staffs ONLY two workers for a whole business day- let alone a trainer and their trainee? Extremely unprofessional, and borderline abusive environment for those working there!!! If this Quest lab keeps operating like this they'll not only lose all their clients, they'll also lose their best employees. read more

Waited 45 minutes people came and went, got close to lunch time announced that they were only doing drug tests! Crunched up my lab order handed it to the first tech who appeared and walked out. Will not go back, last time there I was treated like a piece of meat, this time I was invisible! Will have Dr issue new request and go somewhere else. read more

Why bother making an appointment when they overlook your appointment time and take the person scheduled AFTER you BEFORE you.

Customer Service was well below accepting. There was no one at the desk to give instruction and when they did appear her response was empty and rude to those that didn't know what to do. Extremely rude and crass staff, barking out orders under their breath. Not one complete sentence, not one smile, and not one kind word. Their condescending tone created a terrible first-time experience here. We will not be back. My advice is: don't bother with this lab unless you want to be treated like a third-class citizen. read more
