If you let them know you are not using Medicare, then they blame it on the CRS rules. They must bill you $485 for being a new patient. It's such a blatant ripoff and it takes advantage of wounded or sick people. This place should be shut down for unethical billing. This is the reason you can get in quickly. Once burned, you never come back. They wait on the edge of their web for another unsuspecting person needing medical attention. Do not allow them to feed on your back account. I contacted the clinic and was got details for application requirements and requested an email for reference. After gathering the most personal information about myself and my child I'd shared with anyone (birth certificates, marriage license, ss card), along with my insurance card, I dropped it off and was told to check back by the end of the week to see if it had been processed. The next day, I received a call indicating it was completed and I was now eligible to request an appointment for myself and my daughter. As mentioned, my objective was to get the vaccine, and they just happened to have a drop in clinic scheduled the next day. I showed up early, confirmed my eligibility and took some paperwork to complete while waiting for my number to be called. In less than 10 minutes, I had the shot and sat waiting for 15 minutes to ensure I had no adverse side affects. The medical staff was organized and on top of their game, processing people in six stations and quickly sanitizing everything after each person came through. The 'command center' received the paperwork of each dose recipient and completed CDC vaccine cards with a reminder for each person. In no time, my name was called, I was asked how I was feeling, given my card with a reminder to come back in two weeks, and was free to go. Given the level of care provided today, I wouldn't hesitate to explore other appointments available going forward.

Let's start with the constant shuffling I received between doctors, with at least one leaving for greener pastures. I finally wound up with Dr. Tomes, but within a few months of being under her care, she cancelled my insulin shots. Without notifying me first. Her explanation, when I finally got ahold of her, was that she thought I'd do better on Metformin. Except before that conversation, she didn't write me a prescription for it. Things only went down hill from there. Getting anyone on the phone is a twenty-five minute process, with unhelpful and untrained receptionists who contradict one another. Case in point: I made the mistake (putting the cart before the horse, as I needed to first find another provider) of trying to leave the clinic after suffering a heart attack, as my doctor had put me on no medications for clogged arteries and had been MIA for a year + before the incident (don't expect them to reach out to you, rather make appointments yourself, as I should have done). No statins, no anything. Well, I wound up with several meds from the hospital that they refuse to refill, and I have yet to get a straight answer as to their reasonong. The phone receptionist told me I had to come in before I could leave their "care". I soon learned there are no open clinics in Salem, and tried again to refill my prescriptions through their pharmacy. The next person I spoke to on the phone told me they couldn't help me with more than two of them, before finally telling me that her notes showed I'd already quit the clinic. That was news to me, and to Pacific Source, who've confirmed they are still getting billed by West Salem Clinic. This is what led me to writing my first ever Yelp review. I truly hope if you've already signed up with these people that your experiences are better than mine have been. If you're still shopping around, I commiserate with your arduous search, but I wouldn't recommend this place, especially Dr. Tomes.

I have only lived in apartments, so this was my first time being exposed to the internals and sub-systems of a house. The inspector is extremely thorough, and is very knowledgeable and patient if you ask him questions during the inspection. We went through every corner of the home and he pointed out areas which could be problematic, and also aspects which were well constructed. The inspector is very knowledgeable, and these people are easy to interact with. The report I received is very detailed and included critiques, observations, and maintenance tips. None of these spots were identified in the report. We will be spending over $3,000 dollars to fix these boards. We hired a contractor who is very reputable in the Portland and Salem area to fix the doors and he says that this was a HUGE miss on their part. I called Pillar to Post today and claimed it wasn't their fault and we should have hired a contractor to fix these issues and they were not their responsibility to identify them, say what?! Just know if you use Pillar to Post and they make a mistake, they do nothing :(. I have a lot of friends who are real estate agents who I will be passing this along to, unfortunately. I hired Perfection Inspection for a "check-up" inspection after living in my home for about 4…read moreyears. I'd changed out some appliances and fixed some issues from the original inspection, and noticed a few things over the last few years I wanted a professional opinion on all at once. Inspectors, in my opinion, are the absolute best for this, because they have a bit of experience with everything, but no incentive to scare you into into bigger and bigger maintenance/repair jobs. I couldn't be happier with my decision to hire them. From the moment I inquired about their services, Perfection Inspection was attentive and responsive in their communication. Jim was both professional and personable. After he arrived, he indulged me with some conversation about the home, his experiences with homeownership, my dog, etc. Jim is such a comfortable person to talk to that, before I knew it, I'd already wasted an hour of his time! Once his ear had been thoroughly talked off (not that he raised so much as a word of complaint) he was extremely efficient in his initial survey of the home. Within 45 minutes, he'd checked over the entire exterior and garage. He checked in with me and told me his findings so far, heard my concerns, and answered my questions. I was thrilled to notice that he'd paid extra attention to the concerns I had raised during our first conversation. This "efficient but thorough examination followed by check-in and Q&A" repeated 3 more times, once each for the interior, the attic, and the crawlspace. Not only did Jim find more than the original inspection or the initial building inspector did, he also took the time to make sure I understood the severity of the various issues and what options I could pursue for fixing them. He gave candid advice about what could be DIY'd, what should be hired out, and on what timeframes he'd recommend various jobs be done. Already, this would be easily worth the $450 I paid, but what has secured me as a "shout from the rooftops" advocate is the extra care Jim gave to my home. He spotted an issue with one of my windows and walked me through how to fix it then and there -- the kind of thing I've had on my to-do list for a year but just didn't know how to tackle. He was extremely respectful and careful of my belongings (and I'll be the first to admit my lack of tidiness -- there was much more of my junk laying around than there should be!) Finally, he was patient and kind to my overenthusiastic puppy, even checking with me about how to help keep the pup safe as he went in and out of the building. Hire this man. If you're a seller, have him check your property before you sell. If you're a buyer, rest easy knowing that if Jim misses something, it's probably not something you'll ever need to notice.

They gave us some quick instructions if we wanted to use a DIY method, which I quickly vetoed! We spoke with BJ about the issue and were able to quickly get an appointment with him; he took 13 samples (we needed quite a few due to the scope of the work), and received the results the following week, I think. He sent us the lab reports as soon as we had them so that we could share them with the plumbing company. (Total cost came to just shy of $300.) At any rate, BJ was super-helpful, friendly, and efficient, and I'd recommend him highly!
