Informed (via phone) I would be notified by text when they were ready, so I should stay close by. Instead of staying in the tiny, overcrowded waiting room reeking of BO, I stepped into the hall outside. Just outside the door. I went back in about 15 minutes later, but no one was at the desk. I went back in a third time at 10:37am because I hadn't been texted to ask how far behind they were running. LaTrice tells me that Robin had called my name twice. Not texted. Called it to the waiting room. Robin comes up and says, "Oh you're here!" Yes, Robin, I've been here since 10am and was outside that door. You didn't text me. "Oh, we don't text here." She seemed surprised that LabCorp, her employer, seems to think she does. I felt bad for LaTrice having to work with this incompetent person. I did not feel okay with Robin sticking me with needles, and LaTrice just quietly said, "I got you," and took me back. Bless her. Someone please get LaTrice a better employer!

But I walked in, got my test done and walked out all in about 15 minutes! Now that is service! The place is super clean and organized. And the technicians are personable and do the "sticking" with nary a pain. And there was no fumbling to find a vein, which is always appreciated. Since the test I was having was a bit out of the ordinary, I liked that they checked in with the hospital to make sure it was being done properly. I just had a little blood drawn, but I would recommend this place for any diagnostic testing that you might need. Plenty of free parking (they even have valet service if you can't make the trip from the parking lot) and it is conveniently located off of Ogden and 1-294 for those of you in the "burbs". Now if they could only get my doctor to run on time!

We have seen her once a year or twice a year for three years for my two son's various flu and other injuries. We are so grateful she is there. Please don't leave, Dr Kelly! If every provider were like her, our medical field would be serving all patients SO well. Here's why: She always thinks of everything without me even asking, from meds, to at home things to do, to a school note, without hesitation. She always makes a little bit of small talk with my sons, but it's like she really cares. Bonus: The place is clean, the front desk staff is friendly, calm and efficient. They smile and are efficient and great with insurance and I haven't ever received a crazy bill from them ever. The wait time has never exceeded 15 minutes. We are out within 45 min including payment and lab tests. I am not getting paid by them to say all this stuff LOL haha! I don't know anyone there either....but I just have to call out this example of urgent care DONE RIGHT. Dr Kara's-Hedrick, DNP, please always continue being the best urgent care provider we've seen! To the staff: Stay well and take care of yourselves and know that your job MEANS A LOT to the community. Your kindness and helpful demeanor makes all the difference when we are feeling ill!

The staff has always been cordial and accommodating. They do their best to get you in when needed but patients need to be flexible as well. For example, someone needs an appointment ASAP but when given the option of the next day they say 'no that won't work". I hear that all the time! and then the patient gets mad about no appointment options! It does stink that the doctors rotate every few years. But the new residents are always energetic and happy to help you. This is a good medical practice, much better managed then others. Keep up the good work HFMC doctors, nurses and staff! In 2003, I was laid up for 2 weeks at home with bronchitis. When I saw a new internist in 2008, he recommended that I see Dr. Jacobson, because of the numerous sinus infections I was continuing to experience. Since I saw Dr. Jacobson he had provided me with the right treatments that let me live a life without concern of asthma and allergies for over 15 years. It has been life changing for me. Under Dr. Jacobson's care I ran 13 marathons and rode my bike hundreds of miles each year. I never experienced any breathing problems. Dr. Jacobson's practice has a boutique feel to it. He takes whatever time is needed to provide a diagnosis and gives me all the time that I need to ask questions. He thinks outside the box, does whatever research is necessary, and develops innovative solutions to help me get well. He has a tremendous office staff that is very warm and welcoming when you come into his office. To me it feels like family. I feel that I have been provided the very best care. I have recommended Dr. Jacobson to other people numerous times. Peter Waldman
