A Veterans outpatient clinic that provides primary care and specialty health services, including…read moremental health services, laboratory services, and more. This is a great location compared to its previous with plenty of parking and a large waiting room. Only major negative to this clinic is the wait time for appointments. I always have a first appointment at 8 AM and I always have to wait. I can be the only person in the waiting room, and have to wait 20-30 minutes for lab work or to see the doctor. I don't understand why the hold up if I am the only one in the office waiting area. There are not enough doctors here permanently as they rotate every couple years or they are only here a couple days a week and it is hard to schedule regularly. But where else can you get a fast appointment with a primary care physician outside? At least here you can call and schedule and then plan to see a doctor sooner than outside VA healthcare. This clinic is affiliated with the Bedford VA Hospital so you can't be a patient in Manchester VA. The two systems don't match which is dumb. This location would be very convenient if yes. When you do get in after waiting, the nurses are awesome. They are very helpful and are able to answer any questions. That is the same with the doctors. So the medical staff for this clinic are amazing. I have yet to have any medical staff issues at any VA facility. I might run into someone on admin staff from time to time who might not be helpful, but in my experience, it is a rare occasion. Back to this clinic - medical staff are awesome. If getting labs, the nurses are always helpful and educational. They know medicine quite well and it's amazing how well. Overall, great clinic that I recommend to any veteran.

I've been twice and she has left my lower arm completely bruised and swollen. This is because of the way she inserts the needle, it breaks the vein from underneath and causes bruising everywhere. I usually go to UCLA, and now, when in MA, I will go to The Laboratory in N Andover. The tech there used the same butterfly needle as Quest and I had zero marks on my arm.

I preregistered the night before on the Quest Diagnostics website, which made check-in at the kiosk in the office lobby an extremely simple process. The two people at the check-in kiosk before me had to navigate through the screens, and it did not appear too difficult for someone mildly computer savvy. The person behind the counter will help you with it, if you have trouble, according to a note next to the kiosk. Here's how to find the office: It is located in an older office park with two buildings separated by a wooded area that completely blocks the view of the other building, so you may have to do some driving around to locate Quest. (1) Find the building with "Andover Surgery Center" on the front of it (the sign is partially obscured by a tree). (2) Quest Diagnostics is in unit 138, which is located to the left of the Andover Surgery Center sign. The number "138" is posted on the door, but there is no Quest sign. (3) Go through this exterior door and turn left. (4) Go through the hallway door and there are signs for the Elevator on your right. (5) Take the Elevator to the second floor. (6) Exit the Elevator, and "Quest Diagnostics" is across the lobby on the left. Their name is on the door.

Their billing is overly aggressive and you never know what anything is going to cost until after the work is done. You could wallpaper your house with the multiple bills they send, and the phone calls start pretty much one second after the due date. I put their bills at the bottom of the pile and wait until the last possible second to pay after about the 3rd voice message, just as an act of defiance because they are so annoying. Eventually, you do have to pay because they've turned their poor phlebotomists into bill collectors; who can't draw your blood until your $30.00 past due is current, even though they probably overcharged to begin with and already got $150.00 from your insurance company.Just another greedy company that is typical of everything that is wrong with our broken health care system.

Therefore, you seek alternative practitioners and you need to have your labs drawn. This is where all mobile phlebotomy comes in handy. The local lab draw stations around me would not honor the specialty lab kits I was sent (and paid for) as part of my healing journey. Most told me they only draw for physicians within their network or within the hospitals they're contracted with. Additionally, they'll only draw them if they are also going to result them. Seeing as how I was working with a specialty lab, and this specialty lab was going to provide the results that wasn't going to work. Jessica was super nice to work with: very professional. She made the whole process painless (literally) and understood the use of a specialty lab kit, which includes spinning the specimen appropriately, packaging it and sending it per the instructions. I am so thankful I found the service.
