1) Quest is so easy to use. Online appointments through the app, a QR code that I don't even need because I get a text the morning of my appointment that I just click on to check in. Once inside, my appointment is on the TV screen so I can see how many people are before me. 2) Quest is clean, quiet, comfortable, and calming. 3) The phlebotomists are gentle, skilled, courteous, and 100% professional. They explain every step and I barely feel when the needle goes in. 4) Results come back fast, generally within a day or two for routine blood work. 5) I've used Quest for decades, starting back when they were just a first come first served walk-in operation. They were OK back then, but digitization has improved things exponentially! 6) My only quibble is since there's no receptionist anymore, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to ask a question or report a problem. This hasn't applied to me (yet) but I've occasionally been there when someone's waiting to be seen and has an issue they'd like to talk to someone about. read more

Considering that they're in the business of processing your bodily fluids the antiseptic, clean room surroundings of the Quest waiting area are both reassuring and oddly disorienting. There's water available but no cups as you're supposed to ask for one but there's no one to ask. Swallow your spit cowboy and bide your time. No need to rely on any form of human interaction, just kneel in penance before their all knowing entry kiosk and then stare at the monitor until the staff retrieves you from your white-out purgatory. And don't forget to answer a few cursory insurance questions from the phlebotomist and then it's time to squeeze your fist and aim for the cup as your DNA heads for the laboratory. Check in was quick. When I requested a chair to lie down in because I am afraid of needles I was given one. When I asked the medical professional if she could wait a moment so I could mentally prepare before she stuck the needle in she gave me a terrible attitude saying they are about to close and telling me if I need to go to a mental facility I should go to one with a disgusted look on her face. It was a tall bigger black woman with long hair. As a woman of color myself I hate that I have to write this about her. While she was quick and efficient her attitude was dehumanizing, insulting, unnecessary and awful. The other woman was kinder and let me lay there for a little to get over this. read more

On wednesday 11-19-2025 I arrived at the location in hamilton at 7:45AM to get "blood work" Using the electronic sign in process I was given an appointment for 12:40. That same day I arrived at at 12:25 to see my appointment moved to 1:10 pm. At 1:45 pm I asked when was I going to be called and I was told that my name was not on the list that I had to sign in again. At that point harsh words were exchanged and I departed without the needed blood work. I used this same lab before and I was satisfied with the service . Due to a chromic illness that requires my blood to be drawn every few weeks, I'm VERY familiar with collection labs in the area. The staff at this location was very disorganized and frantic when I brought my sons in for their routine bloodwork and urinalysis. After getting their results back, some of the results are odd enough for both of them that our pediatrician is recommending a redraw at a different location. Additionally, this is the only location I've been to where speaking to a receptionist to check in isn't even really an option, there are check in kiosks and a locked door to the back. I saw an older couple having difficulty with the kiosks when we were called back, and no one would even acknowledge their presence as they came to the door to get us. By the time we were done, they were gone. Not sure if they ever got any help or if they just gave up and left. At least the back area appeared to be clean and sterile, and the phlebotomists seemed to be following all PPE and universal precaution procedures, so a generous "doing what's legally required" bonus star there. read more

Been here a few times and never an issue. During my last visit I was refused service because I didn't have a printed bloodwork request which was NEVER an issue in the past. I would just email it to the nurse and be seen. No room for questions just "come back next time with printed copy" and dismissed. Terrible service. read more

I supposed "as good as it gets" as pertaining to a clinical facility. Very quick and efficient operation. For those who may remember "the good ol' days" of waiting and paperwork processing and scheduling and waiting again----those days are gone. You can schedule an appointment or just walk-in. Once you arrive, you sign in on the iPad with your name and birth date. Your name immediately goes into the queue which is shown on the main TV. You know how many minutes your wait will be. Scheduled appointment have priority over walk-ins. They call you, you bring your insurance information and paperwork from the referral. They immediately start bar coding the paperwork and whatever vials are needed. The staff operates quickly and are very experienced. Results usually are delivered within 24 hrs. read more

It is not about them providing blood work tests. It is about them providing a very poor customer service, below zero stars. Our appointment was scheduled for 10:30 am. We came in around 9:00 am and registered. The display in the waiting room was showing our turn will be in about 40 minutes. Around 10:00 am our turn came but the staff skipped us calling people that came after us. For some mysterious reason the staff was accusing us that we want to get ahead of others, talking loud with other patients and staff about us. There was nobody in the waiting room that came before us. Very rude personnel! Very, very disrespectful! They should have a better training and respect on how to talk to people. We left at 10:20 am quietly, while SHE was accusing us over and over again, talking VERY LOUD!!!!! We would never go back to Quest Diagnostics. read more

Walked in running late staff members reclined in chairs making fun of a recent caller. Had my blood drawn with no conversation was given a cup with a vile and told where the bathroom was. Is it common to vile your own pee? Out of the bathroom - no direction. I finally found a staff member to make eye contact with me & she told me to put my sample in a trash bin, they collect them. I was not told anything else. This place had boxes stacked all over and felt dark and dirty. I will not be back. There are plenty of places to get blood work done that might even say hello and goodbye! read more

I have to say that I did get in and out in a timely manner. No long waiting time which was a big plus for me. On the other hand, staff is VERY unprofessional. I'm sorry but if you are going to be having conversation that is not work related (I'm human and I know people are obviously going to talk to each other at work.) I should not have to hear your conversation in full detail in the waiting room, with all curse words included. I can't say all staff was included in these conversations but there seemed to be one ringleader who got everybody riled up. read more

Everytime I come here the experience is always pleasant. The women who work here are all really nice and welcoming. I come to get blood work every month because I take Acutane. Each time I have gone, they get my vein in one shot. They definitely know what they're doing and it's always a very pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. read more

Just terrible. Seen my name come up on the board and never got called back even though I had an appointment. Said something about it after the 5th person behind me got called. I continued to wait and watched one of the techs ask someone for their script as she held her cell phone up to her ear. Maybe it was a work call or maybe not but she could had at least put the phone down. When I finally got called back the tech made it known that I was pissed by yelling to her co workers to take my name off the board while other people were in the waiting room. Yes I am pissed, I have been sitting for 30 minutes. Very unprofessional group. Testing is what it is, no complaints it was just them not being professional or not caring that someone used up their lunch break. I was very disappointed with the lack of respect and common curtesy today. Having been there before, this was probably the least favorable visit I've had. My name was called from the back to report to a numbered cubicle. I always try to chat with anyone who is putting a needle in my arm to relax the situation. I wasn't nervous and she couldn't have cared if I was. I was spoken to in rapid fire, and I was unable to finish a sentence before she continued talking or walked out of the area. I try very hard to always treat people respect but it didn't matter at all and she couldn't get rid of me fast enough! read more
