Since RAI was bought out by Princeton Radiology, the time to have test results available has increased DRAMATICALLY. What used to take 24 hours, now takes 4 days. That's 4 WORKING days, so if there's a weekend involved, tough luck! Nice people, and I suppose they do the job well, but the extended time to receive results is intolerable. Once again, I didn't receive email verification that my xray report was available on the portal. again, i will need to call the princeton radiology office and wait for someone to call me back before i can access my radiology report. My first impressions upon walking in were like any other waiting area at a medical office. The area is somewhat small but the air is fresh and office is clean. I was greeted by very friendly office staff which was welcoming. Arriving at 1:10pm for a 1:30 appt I expected to wait a bit and was finally take in for my appointment at 1:45. I was able to make an appointment within an hour from my call. I was seen very promptly. I was in and out of the appointment within 10 minutes. Results were posted promptly within a couple of hours. My personal experience was good. I am going to state why I am not happy about the care another patient received that I observed. The patient was an elderly woman in a wheelchair. She was being pushed into the waiting room by her husband after having testing. She was in a short light coat, certainly not made for the 25 degree day. She was wearing a dress and what appeared to be tights with compression stockings on top of the tights. She was shivering. I said it's very cold today. She smiled and agreed. She then told me how she was treated while having the testing done. She said "the nurse" promised to hold her hand because she was scared, but didn't do it. She also said they gave her a blanket but it was a cold blanket. Now, as a retired RN i know about blanket warmers. Are you telling me, this facility does not have any blanket warmers for frail, elderly clients??? And, in addition, seeing how this woman was dressed, could they not let her keep the blanket to cover her legs as it was so cold outside as well as in the waiting room??? It was obvious to me they were not wealthy. Her husband had what appeared to be a light spring jacket on and his pants were baggy as he was also frail and very thin. I was being called back as he was making another appointment for his wife otherwise I would have helped him get her into the car and I would have asked a technician for a blanket...even if I had to pay for it! I was a RN for 25 years and I don't see any compassion or empathy anymore in healthcare. This couple is coping with illness and probably poor finances. Would it have cost too much to give her a blanket? Was there no staff to help them get to the car? As I said, my experience was fine but I actually cried when I got home thinking about that couple and how poorly they were treated. Try to instill some empathy in your practice. read more

This was my third time at the Mercerville location and each time the experience was terrible. Technicians who do not seem to know what they are doing, no communication and unfriendly staff. I've been going to Princeton Radiology for a couple of years and the Mercerville location is just sub-par. The front desk reception team is unfriendly. For my most recent visit for an ultrasound they did not perform the US according to the script my doctor wrote and told me I'd have to come back again. Just terrible. read more

I have gotten so many images there. I had an appointment for two MRIs but apparently I got there and they said I had two different appointments. I never heard of two appointments. You don't schedule two appointments for the dentist for two different cavities do you. To tell me I have to choose between which mri I want is not acceptable. I have gone years and had so many images done there. I will never go there again. read more

The tech I got sqeezed so bad it hurt. Not necessary. And I have to go back because the image was bad. Go figure.

I has the best experience today getting my yearly mammogram on 6-3-21 at 3:15 PM. The check in woman at the door and front desk woman were both pleasant. The appointment was on time. My tech was super nice and sweet. I wish I had gotten her name. She was short with dark hair. She was very good at positioning me, made me feel comfortable, and we had a pleasant conversation about Ventnor, NJ beach. I loved the aromatherapy that was in the room, the beach scenes on the monitors, and the beach oil paintings on the walls. It was such a nice ambiance. It almost made my mammogram enjoyable. Lol. I highly recommend getting a mammogram here. read more

Princeton Radiology has truly awful and despicable billing practices. They mailed my bill to an outdated address for me and made no effort to call or email me to notify me that I had an outstanding balance. I guess they've never heard of a computer and don't know how to use a telephone. Instead, they sent my bill to collections. These people are totally incompetent shakedown artists. read more

In and out in 20 minutes. Promptly taken at my appointment time, which by the way they were able to see me 45 minutes after my initial call...mostly due to the severity and need of an immediate chest xray - but none the less...A+ for prompt service and taking into consideration patient needs and health. Front desk, one lady was not that friendly, glad I got the other one to intake my information - she was very friendly. Xray tech was a bit rushy, all business but did wish me well in the end and hoped I got better soon and that the xray would reveal why I'm still sick. So I can't complain much and I am a fan of this place. Prompt service, same day service, insurances accepted, and in and out within 20 minutes and only 15 minutes from my home. read more

I just called to schedule an appointment for me and while I had to wait on hold a few minutes the woman making the appointment was the nicest customer service person I have dealt with in a LONG time! I had to wait 15 minutes to check in for my appointment, and then I had 2 people who had later apppointments than me and checked in after me were somehow seen before me! The person who conducted the x-Ray was rude and lacked empathy. I am clearly in pain while she did the x-rays, she could care less about how much pain I was in. After the x-rays were over, she told me I could put my bandages on myself. I came to get an x-ray for my dominant hand, so obviously I cannot wrap my own hand in bandages. The lady at the front desk was nice but I wish it didn't take so long to check in. The radiologist is horrible. I do not recommend this place. read more

Furious. they are not too bad with wait times, techs vary, but generally okay, but if you want to find out what the hell they are billing you for, good luck! i have been trying for a month to figure out my bill - just a mammogram, yes, I knew I'd be charged for the 3D - but what the hell is the other charge on my bill. call the # on the bill, get someone listing a dozen different codes and other gibberish - no supervisor available; try horizon - get some other country and no satisfaction. call the actual location, get left on hold for 40 minutes - they close! i was supposedly second in line with a 13 minutes wait when i started. I have given up hours of my lunch time, now hours of my vacation time just to get a simple question answered! i will not use them ever again, despite them being 2 minutes from my workplace. read more

This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with they do not care about there patients. I had a pre authorization from my insurance company and Princeton Radiology claimed to be in network. I went there for the MRI and a month or so later I received a surprise bill from them that was billed though the one person in there group that was not in network Martha Nowell this caused the insurance company to pay out of network sticking me with a bill for over 1000 dollars the insurance company will not pay in network due to the fact that Princeton Radiology has set up an agreement with them to bill through Martha Nowell, this what the insurance company advised me. The bill went to collections and I had to pay the debt collector before my credit rating was ruined. There is no surprise bill act in NJ to protect the patient from this kind of shell game. Avoid Princeton Radiology like the plague unless you plan on private paying for your services. read more

I've been going here for many years for mammograms, DXA, ultrasounds... Have never had a problem getting a timely apt and have never rarely waited too long (in fact, never a long wait anytime). The front desk staff and technologists are all wonderful! When I was there last time, I was quite nervous about one test and had questions about another previous test, plus a screw up from my gyn in sending the correct script. I hope I never have to use them again. They supplied a diagnosis to the insuance company, that they were not asked to do. The insurance company would not pay for this, which cost me $206. I fought this for 8 months, but they would not admit they made a mistake. They could have summited a revised bill to the insurance company without the diagnosis and the insurance company would have paid it. Medical providers like this is why health care cost is out of site. read more

Appt. scheduling was good with min. wait. Explained to the tech. I was claustrophobic & had a bad shoulder. Asked if test could be stopped at any point to reposition shoulder & was told no.(Tech. was very nice). Part way through MRI I felt the bed of the MRI being pulled out & a hand up & down my breastbone & tugging at my slacks which were eventually pulled down (said something metal showed on the film - decided it was the film). I was stuffed back into the MRI. All in all a very bad experience. I tried to let them know my shoulder was painful but no one responded. I put up with the pain just to get the test over with. Weeks later I still have a painful shoulder. Worst experience in an MRI I've ever had. I'll never have another MRI at that location. This is the first time I have ever written a negative review but I went for the MRI for 1 problem & came out with another problem. read more

Recently I went to Princeton Radiology for my yearly mammogram. As with most women, I get anxious when having a mammogram, due to the fear that cancer will be found. I have been having this done here for years. On this day, the technician exhibited a total lack of knowledge regarding using the digital mammography equipment. First, she didn't know how to turn a knob and it fell off. I was hit in the face with the equipment and with my breast squished inthe apparatus, she had no idea how to start the test and had to leave the room to get someone to help her! After switching to the other breast she said"oops, I forgot to take a side view". After a prolonged time to get through the study, I voiced concern to the other technician that this woman didn't seem to know what she was doing. She responded" She is fine". Well, I see wasn't! I requested to get a call with the results and left there at 8:30 am. I never received a call, so at 4:30, I called and asked to speak with a manager. I did speak with a nice person who looked up my results and apologized for my horrible experience. Stay away from here if you need a mammogram! read more
