When we're done, we'll call you to retrieve the "financially obligated" (patient is so passé) under the gold awning. Don't get ahead of yourself buster, we'll call you. My two hour food court exile over, I return to find the gold awning and circle the facility until air traffic control clears a landing slot. The call comes, they'll be out in exactly seven minutes. Flaps down, I approach the awning and wait. Seven minutes turn to twenty and I'm getting disapproving body language from the orderlies who are apparently paid to be disapproving. Why are you here? I don't know, waiting here with a Panda Express time bomb in my stomach just felt like a day worth living. She said, "they'll call me and I should have a seat". The waiting room was overcrowded along with a very long line. Next thing I know 30 mins goes by, I hear names being called at isn't mine. I over heard another staff say, they were about to close. I walk up to the window. It almost 11 am now. I told them I had a 10:15 appt and I didn't hear my name being called. The first staff I speak to when I walked in, says,"Oh I wasn't calling appointment name!?" Another staff then look online found my confirmation appt and I then had my blood drawn. The nurse was in such a rush drawing my blood I was uncomfortable the whole time. Such poor customer service, NEVER AGAIN.

They explain every step and I barely feel when the needle goes in. 4) Results come back fast, generally within a day or two for routine blood work. 5) I've used Quest for decades, starting back when they were just a first come first served walk-in operation. They were OK back then, but digitization has improved things exponentially! 6) My only quibble is since there's no receptionist anymore, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to ask a question or report a problem. This hasn't applied to me (yet) but I've occasionally been there when someone's waiting to be seen and has an issue they'd like to talk to someone about.
