My information was processed quickly and thoroughly. I'm not sure how to spell the name of the kind staff member that helped me though her name is pronounced 'Yesey". I'm sure I got that all wrong, spelling wise. She was very professional, friendly, thorough and most importantly, kind and compassionate. There was a bit of a wait time and my current physical state prohibits me from sitting for extended periods of time. The staff was aware of this and kindly suggested I schedule an appt later this morning. I did so and I was in and out within 15 minutes. No wait time at all. The radiology technician was very friendly and spoke with me about the details of my situation. She made sure to take all images necessary based on my specific needs. I also recently got a mild case of vertigo, the doctor checked my ears and one was completely plugged. They did a lavage and got it clear. Vertigo gone!! I had a lavage on the same year a couple of months ago and they couldn't (wouldn't) work until they got it cleared. I will definitely return here the next time I need an Urgent Care.

During my visit, I informed the physician of my significant medical history, including cardiac issues and a recent thyroid cancer diagnosis. Based on my symptoms, he ordered a chest X-ray. After reviewing the X-ray, I was told that many people were experiencing coughs lasting several weeks and was advised to go home, drink hot tea, and use over-the-counter medications. Given my symptoms and medical history, I left feeling that my concerns had not been thoroughly evaluated or taken seriously. Ultimately, I sought care elsewhere in the Bay Area and received treatment that addressed the underlying issue. While I understand that not every illness requires aggressive intervention, I expected a more thoughtful assessment and greater attention to the full clinical picture. The facility itself is impressive, but based on my experience, I would not recommend this urgent care.

I have been in the Arroyo Medical Concierge program for 8 years. 2 years ago my primary care Dr,…read morewho was excellent, retired and was replaced by a new Dr. A year ago I requested to switch to another Dr in the group because I was not happy with my care and was told the other doctors, Malzone, Ruiz and Fitchmun, were not accepting new patients. I am again requesting a switch but again told that is not possible. So my $2100 fee, was just paid and I don't have a doctor. It is difficult enough to find good medical care in SLO County but one would think that Arroyo Medical Group would care about its patients and find a solution.
