From entering the beautiful and modern office, to being offered hot cocoa and coffee, to having a warm and loving experience with each staff member, to being in and out in around 30 minutes, this is definitely the best urgent care experience I've ever had. However, I checked my file later that day to see the radiologist wrote that I did in fact have a fracture. I called the doctor and he had nothing to say other than to make an appointment with my primary care physician. On top of that, my experience with the desk staff as I tried getting my X rays to take to my primary physician was incompetent as well. They insisted that the only way I could get a copy of my X Rays was to come in and pick up a DVD copy. After some back and forth it turns out they are capable of emailing these records.

The general staff were nice and polite. The PA John Michalak however, was not. His bedside manner was appalling and offensive. He did not listen to what I was saying in relaying the info on my injury and insulted me by stating condescendingly that *I "didn't understand". I told him that he was not hearing me. He called out for a chaperone and said "She's combative ". I never raised my voice but advocated calmly for myself as a patient experiencing extremely poor healthcare treatment from him. To qualify my position, I am a 2x lymphoma survivor and two heart diseases and defended my higher academic research in patient advocacy. I've been a patient for 35 years and dealt with a very best and would coin him as the very worst. Shameful.

The staff at cottage urgent care handled my circumstances timely and efficiently. The price was reasonable service was well above average. Marie Ann Carbajal attended to My wound. She recommend x-rays at no additional charge. We discussed a plan of attack. Antibiotics to deal with the infection a couple of days to see if anything further need be done. I went back a few days later everything was drastically better. We decided to keep an eye on it and it tend to it as needed. I could not recommend the folks at cottage urgent Care any higher. DO NOT GO HERE FOR AN IMPLANT…read more I had the bc Nexplanon implanted in my arm in February 2019 by an older nurse named Rosanne and she inserted it way TOO DEEPLY in my skin and didn't show me where it was after. When I was comparing my implant to friends, theirs were all right under the skin and mine had to be pushed into to feel a little. When I changed my mind and wanted to have it removed in march 2019, I went to a Planned Parenthood and they literally spent over an hour trying to get it out and they COULDNT GET IT OUT ! The implant was blocked by nerves and muscle! It was inserted so deeply and carelessly I now have to go to a surgeon to remove it. When Rosanne said it was a 'whole other ballgame to take it out' I didn't realize how right she was. She needs to be retaught or removed from the business. If I had waited the full 2-3 years before removing it, it would have moved into my body even DEEPER!

There were multiple issues and problems that I had with this place. Had a horrible experience…read more Felt dismissed and rushed the whole time like a number not a person. They sent me home with a huge leg brace with absolutely no instructions for the brace. Found out 2 days later from my in-home PT, that it was put on backwards by the surgery center. At one point It fell off, and I had no idea on how to put it back on. I also didn't know how long to keep it on. I didn't receive any information about the medications. I didn't know when to start taking them, if it was too early, how much to take, or if I should take stool softener. There were conflicting instructions from different sources. This was just a few of the many many issues that I had at this place. Would not recommend!
