This location is in the Queens Crossing Mall, close to Main St in Flushing. Very accessible via the 7 train and buses. Metered street and municipal parking areas nearby but we went to the parking garage (valet) in the same building for convenience - I think I paid almost $10 though. (Mulan seafood restaurant validates accdg to the garage employee -pls confirm with the restaurant first). When waiting for the car, the elevator area is enclosed, with a couple of benches for sitting; was warmer in there and at least not directly inhaling the car exhaust fumes. Had to take 2 elevators up to the lab. Small waiting room, Kiosks for check-in. Like in the Forest Hills location, there is no staff member in the front to welcome customers or if have any questions (one person was getting upset bec she needed help and was told to go to the kiosk). We didn't have any issues signing in and were called in soon after. The phlebotomist was patient and informative. She let us know that one of the tests wasn't covered so we could decide. Also skilled - got it on the first try (my mom worries whenever getting a blood test bec of past experiences). Wheelchair-accessible restroom. A food court and restaurants in the same building so got a quick snack. read more

Tried scheduling an appointment online and wasn't able to, tried calling and got no answer however online stated they accept walk ins and they stay open until 6:30pm so I rushed over from my Dr.s appointment. Got there 5:50pm and started the check in progress. 3 minutes in the front desk clerk finally acknowledges me as she was deep in conversation with her colleagues then said with an attitude they're not accepting any one else today. She continued, you should have booked an appointment or called. I replied, I tried to book an appointment online and I also did call, no one answered. She aggressively said come back tomorrow, I replied I can't I don't live in the area and that I'd figure something else out then left. Do not come here without an appointment. But even if you do have one, be prepared to wait. You can either call or make one online. My appointment was at 10:10 am. I arrived there at around 9:50, was called in about an hour later, and was out of the building by 11:10. Once you arrive, the older man at the door asks if you have an appointment and checks your name on his list. You then check-in on the tablet inside by the front desk. The waiting room gets packed and noisy. Make sure to sit close to where the lab techs come out so you can hear your name being called. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE location with the worst customer service ever. i came with my girlfriend to get a drug test for her work place and we had to wait over 40 minutes for her to even start her procedure. the grandpa waiting next to us waited over 3 hours and the workers would not even listen to him. during the wait, multiple people walked out because of the terrible service and none of the workers speak proper english. i have no problem with the language but if you're going to treat people like shit and just ignore them, it becomes frustrating. i will never come back to this place ever again and i am so sorry but it seems that all the workers are the same. read more

This place ought to be shut down. We have an appointment came on time and checked In the via the text message. There were 10 people sitting on the floor. More waiting Inside. They have 13 seats so we sat down. They have this man walking back and forth giving out numbers on a post it note. I told him when out appointment was and what time and he asked the name. Staff/worker comes out mind you it's almost 3pm saying 1:10 appt, 1:30 appt. Then they call other numbers of people that walk in. Currently they are up to 163... so when they went to 2:20pm and then to 2:40 we said what about 2:30?! Apparently they dismissed us. So when the one female staff member came out short dark hair with a head band and a burgundy uniform we mentioned we had an appointment she says that isn't an appointment you're a walk in?! I get it they're understaffed. They looked like they only had 3 phlebotomy techs there. Unfortunately because I needed a Saturday appointment I came to this location. I should have read the reviews on Google before I came. Funny the sign on the desk states: Under a few things to know: Scheduled appointments are given priorities over walk ins. Walk ins are always welcome and serviced in order of arrival. So why lie?! They closed at 4pm yet they took people til almost 3:50pm. Knowing they had 20 people still that were not seen. A man with a 3:10pm appt with his 2 kids was seen at 3:45pm. Another lady came with her elderly mother and was asking how long the wait was she had an appointment. I explained what happened with us and she decided not to a stay. She had tried to get a straight answer from the man at the door but all he said was they'll call you. The young lady with the other 2:30p appointment told me all she had was a urine test. Eventually she asked the man who was standing at the door and they find our names on the list. Not sure why appointments are required when you still have to wait when you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. When you try to ask a question to the staff they brush you off or the answer is unrelated to what you're actually asking. I tried calling to schedule an appointment but couldn't get ahold of anyone. I hopped on the Q28 to this location on the 4th floor of Queens Crossing Medical Offices. I walked up to the 4th floor because you can't really rely on the elevators. I checked into an IPAD and waited for almost an hour to take me as a Walk-In. This is my first time and last time here, and I haven't had my test done. The waiting room is extremely crowded, and the person directing you is curt and rude. He actually told me to "stay here." Then, when the family in front of me were waiting for their confirmation, he told me to "go ahead." I told him I was being polite and waiting. When I "finished," he said, "Sit there." If I could give no stars I would! I only went here because it was open on a Sunday and I had to get tests done on a specific time of the month. The place opens at 8am and I arrived at 8:13. The waiting room was already full with other walk ins. I luckily got a seat after someone who had an appointment was called in. Check in Part one. You use the kiosk to check yourself in. This was easy. Check in part two: You are screened by the staff and depending on how many labs you have it can take a while. I had a lot of tests that's needed to be run so my process took at least twenty minutes. When I was finally called to this juncture the phlebotomist tried to tell me she didn't feel like doing all my tests- she tried to tell me to only do the CBC. I said I came here for a reason so I need all the tests done. She refused to do one specific test because it's an "am test " that has to be done before 9am. I said it's only 10 does it make that much of a difference I've been here since 8?! She was steadfast in her refusal. The funny thing is at that time I thought she was just the receptionist or intake person. After she input my info, I discovered she was the phlebotomist! She was moving so slow between patients I really can't wrap my head around what took so darn long! Procedure: This was the fastest part of the whole process. Less than 6 minutes. Wait time: Horrendous! I understand that walkins have no priority but it's crazy that it took over two hours to be called in for my blood to be drawn. When I got there it was 8:13 and there were 7 walkins ahead of me. The wait time was nuts! This is especially upsetting in light of how many people had appointments but didn't show up.(This assessment is based on them calling out appointment time and getting no response) I'll never go here again! I would recommend that you make an appointment if you can before going to this location- even though they seem to take their appointments late. The timing is very bad, they don't take anyone as scheduled and when you have earlier check ins you still waiting, you have patience here that are fasting and also have early appointments to make sure they get to work early. This is where you go for lab tests when your doctor don't want to do it themselves. This is where your blood and urine goes when your doctor want things analyzed. And this is the shiniest, brightest laboratory I've ever visited. It took a while finding this place. My doctor gave me a business card with their old address on it (they used to have a smaller office on the 5th floor, and Queens Crossing never bother taking down the name plaque). Do not be fooled! You enter from the 39th Ave entrance and take the elevator all the way up. Even though the plaques have no indication, the lab is here. My recent experience was absolutely horrible and I will not be returning to this location. I arrived to the Flushing location at 5:00 pm after four attempts at other locations to have my urine drug screen completed, only to be turned away. It took me almost 2 hours to arrive, while holding my bladder. I requested multiple times to be seen because the other locations did not offer this service and specifically instructed me to go to Flushing because they close at 6:30 pm. In explaining this to the lab tech, I was refused treatment again. I, was then told the last appointment is at 5:45 and I can not be seen because they have already seen 40 patients for the day. I further questioned if they accept walk ins, the reply was yes. When the tech was asked her name she told me Lin, her name is actually Yantao X Wu and she never allowed me to complete my drug screening that my college required. The other tech that was working decided to bring me to the back after explaining to me that I would have to wait until the remaining two scheduled patients were seen. I agreed to wait, I just needed it done because I had a very limited time frame. I am grateful to have my drug screen complete, but I am very unhappy with the customer service and I am not a satisfied patient. Only go here if you are smart enough to book an appointment. DO NOT go here if you are coming here as a WALK-IN. Prior to coming here, I made an appointment a couple of days before. Arrived there 5-10 minutes before my appointment and was seen a little past my reserved time. This is great. Beyond great. Now here's the kicker for those whiny, entitled people, who likes to scream "my time is precious!" When I finally got called by the Med Tech, a couple started a scene and were up in arms and started complaining that I am being seen before them (Fact: they are walk-ins and been waiting for a while now before I got there). Remember, I had an appointment and I actually bothered to book one compared to these people who are walk ins. Now it's common sense to a normal human being that any office/establishment will only see people who are "walk ins" whenever they can squeeze you, you don't actually have a "reserved" time and reservations come precedence over people who have no appointments. So when these people started complaining and screaming and asking for the manager and threatening to file a lawsuit I felt so bad for the Med Techs who had to calm these people down. The Med Techs kept saying, "We're only following the roster that was given to us." They can't cut people just because. It was so disappointing some people think it's okay to trash a place and cause a scene just bc they didn't get what they want or be seen when they wanted to, even if they're in the wrong. Bottom line, be considerate and book an appointment and know your place. Don't walk in there thinking your time is more precious than the person next to you, just bc mommy told you so. They skipped me four times and allowed walk-ins to see medical assistance first (and I have an appointment). The people here do not speak to you. They call up names and leave to their station. You cannot go to their station and interrupt. There is no one at the front desk. Don't go on weekends, very crowded. Do not allow the nurses or doctors to send you here. They closed my Quest in East Elmhurst and I was pissed. The one in Jackson Heights doesn't have early hours so I thought I'd try this one since it was close to the 7. I was able to schedule a 7:15 AM appointment online just a few days before. I was nervous after reading some of the bad reviews, but I'm pleased to say I had a good experience. Office was clean, check-in was easy on the pad. Most importantly, I was called in after 5 minutes of sitting, probably a minute or two before my actual time. The lady was very friendly and pleasant, and I was out of there in under 10 minutes. This is definitely my new Quest! Some advice: Despite the address they give you, you have to enter on 39th Ave, door says 136-17. Take the elevator to the 4th Floor and it's right there. Also, if you drive, go somewhere else. I asked the QTC to make me another one and went back, and they ask me to leave again because my name was not on the list. The wait time maybe 5 hours. Most unprofessional staff ever! I was informed by by doctor that lab results are not coming from them so I went there to pick it up my self. They made me wait over hour for simple results, then they would not give it to me. So I told them to fax it to my doctor and they wouldn't do that either. They wanted to mail it to them and asked me to get the right address. Are you kidding me? I got upset and asked for supervisor and they faxed it right away. What is the problem here?! The place has the most unprofessional and the most cocky staff I have seen. I am a pharmacist therefore I know a thing or two about customer service. I was there to have my blood drawn for a special test with a special kit from one of the quest diagnostic branch. When the kit arrived, the letter accompanied with it stated I can bring the kit to almost any lab to have a walk-in blood drawn without specifying when and I assumed any business time is good. I went there on a Sat without opening the kit to see what's inside, besides why would I want to open it up? The staff saw the kit on my lap, she immediately said only Mon-Fri. I referred to the letter that accompanied the kit and she said its in the box. She will open it to show me. No problem so far, but then!! After she opened the box and found the paper with the instruction to the STAFF and then her attitude changed from ok to cocky and obviously annoyed. She said you saw this right? Is it correct? in a very demeaning and belittled tone. She messed up the whole content inside and tried to rush me out of the cubicle with everything still opened. I mean, I know Chinese people in Flushing can be annoying but don't take it out on another person. Then when we were waiting on line the receptionist cuts off us to put three Asian people in front of us and there is a policy is which that there is no discrimination allowed (we are Hispanic). There was literally one person sitting there waiting for his partner. And no one was at the front desk to check in so I signed my name and waited. The place was cleaned and had signs all over with 5 chairs in the waiting room. Checked in at 9:00 am sharp. A lady, K. Phu called my name right away and brought me to a room. Went over some information but I couldn't understand her with her accent so I said "what?" She then asked "Do you speak English?" I said yes then we continued our conversation but I still had a hard time understanding her. I was lead to another room for weight, height, waist measurement and blood pressure. By this time I was already irritated by her because I felt like she wasn't professional at her job. After taking my blood pressure twice she asked " you have high pressure before?" I replied "yes." "Are you taking medication?" I replied "no." She then repeated the question again. Blah blah blah... yes I know my blood pressure is a little high you don't have to make me feel bad Now comes the fun part... she couldn't find a good vein to draw my blood but decided to poke me anyways. She was rough and after realizing it wasn't a good choice she tried to twist the needle, I winced cuz it really hurts. My blood was coming out slowly and She took the needle out and and put a gauze and bandage over. She said "where did you get your blood taken before?" I pointed the back of my hand and said butterfly. She then said "oh you didn't tell me." I said " you didn't ask!" She grabbed a butterfly needle and proceeded. Again, she was rough and it hurt so I turned my head. She said "that vein is no good that vein is no good." I was already boiling inside so I ignore her comment. She finally collected a vial of blood and took the needle out. She threw the first vial away and I was thinking all those poking and pain went to waste.... She said "you can check your results online." I said yeah and took my leave. I learned my lesson and next time I will drive a little further to another Quest location and have someone professional to draw my blood! read more

Never I ever felt this way for my lab. She was rude and yelling at me for not understanding her instructions. I can't help it to be anxious for my blood work. And here she is yelling at me for not listening to instructions that I barely understand. I told her the chair is to high for me for me to keep my arm straight I have to lead forward. She told me there's no problem with the chair and mumbling something under her breath. I just didn't wanna be rude to tell her maybe it's bc you're too short that you can't draw my blood without me sitting and placing my arm in a weird position that's accessible to you. Also I don't need her to tell me while getting my blood that the needle is moving inside of me if I shake. She doesn't understand I can't maintain that arm position that she want for a long time and that's why I was shaking. I told her I'm scared of needles. She show no empathy for telling me that. I told her to just do it and stop telling me. I dont need to know and it's not helping me with my needle fear. I have done annual physical and blood work from my doctor office. First time ever I feel traumatized by anyone for the lab. I don't appreciate what she did. And she ended the appointment with you were sweating. Like ok. Bc I was anxious and you made me upset. I just left this office and I feel completely violated. They have horrible bedside manner and are completely unprofessional. I went in for blood testing and the lady at the front desk announced my personal information to the entire room. When I asked them to lower there voices they only got louder. In the middle of taking my urine test I was told they forgot I had one more test to take . They also mix all the urine samples in one bin.
