Your information is displayed on the screen and you make sure that it's correct and then proceed to take a seat. Depending on how crowded it is, it might take a while before your turn comes. The phlebotomist calls your name, and directs you to one of two stations. Your ID is verified before they do anything. The entire procedure takes about two minutes and you're out of there .

If you have a scheduled appointment, you're usually seen on time if not a little early. They do all diagnostic imaging tests that physicians may request, at this site. There's a clean, comfortable waiting area. Television to watch and magazines that are relatively recent printed =). Reception is always very courteous and efficient. The technicians and nurses introduce themselves and explain what's going to happen. They try to make you as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. They have an App's to access records, make appointments, read notes, etc. scan the QR code on the wall. There are many medical professionals here, but I would like to mention 2 that were exceptionally helpful, on a regular basis*. *Anthony in radiology is an exceptional employee. Patient and knowledgeable about his field and how to open and use their Apps. He gives you peace of mind. Something I needed. *Carlo the radiological technician, does everything he can to reassure you and make your procedure as comfortable as possible. Not that this place is on "my bucket list". But, it's there if I need it.

Of course, let's get to the $$ first. Then Waited. Was told it wouldn't be long. 4 people in the waiting room, I was still there when 5 people came out of the back. Waited some more & asked to use the restroom again. She said "oh, you sure, we were just going to call you." Confirmed an exam room and sent me in. Then sat down with her phone. I waited. Really needed that restoom as I was vomiting & had diarrhea. I then came out of the exam room to stress I needed the restroom. I was directed to the locked one in the lobby (where I had tried to go already but was stopped). Eventually a young lady came in for vitals, asked why I was there, when I told her my doctor's suspicions (cyclosporasis) she had no clue what I was talking about. How is that even possible? Then I waited some more, When the "provider" came in I had to desperatly use the restroom again. When I came back out I had to go look for her. Always follow the phone. So, I explained why my doctor suggested I come. Diarrhea, vomiting, sweats, for 3 days. She then started lecturing me. To paraphrase: I don't know why people keep coming in here thinking they have this; this is somethine we haven't seen before; you could be under the weather, or you could have ate something. "Yes, that's it, I ate something!" Well, the only way we could determine that is with a stool sample, I offered to pour one into a cup right then and there. "No we don't do that here." So there's nothing you can do? I was rewarded with that sumpathetic, patronizing eye roll. I left, and now here I am. Dr. Ruvo, hire competent people. Not even an offer to hydrate. Vomiting/Diarrhea for days and "too bad, so sad?"

I had a diagnostic bilateral mammogram (need them early because my mom had breast cancer young) and a follow-up bilateral breast ultrasound last month. The mammo tech is a doll - really knows her stuff and is very pleasant. Makes the experience very seamless.... the ultrasound tech was very nice too. The radiologist was a lot friendlier than I expected - most of the time, radiologists have no personality. He was really cool, though. My dad went there for a CT scan yesterday and reported a similarly pleasant experience. I would recommend coming here for your scans - it's a great place to do so if you need them!
