The tech who drew my blood was amazing. I would give her a 5 star rating. She only poked me one time. I had my blood drawn on a Tuesday morning and did not get any results on their app until Saturday morning. This seemed ridiculously slow for my results. OhioHealth has gone to Quest Diagnostics for their outpatient lab tests. I am not sure if I will go back. The app was easiest enough to use and understand. read more

Their app is good but the service to turn around results for testing is VERY SLOW. The technicians I've had have been top notch. LabCorp was very fast, often same day results, so now having to wait up to 10 days for blood work results seems absolutely ridiculous and very frustrating. I would have rated them a "1" but hated not giving credit for the app and technicians. read more

This complaint is on Quest on Hamilton Rd New Albany. The pits. After making an appt I got there at 1:10 for an 1:30 appt. I waited til 1:50 and then ask what was going on. They said I was made a "walk in"since I hadn't checked in. I DID Ck in. On my phone, and on their kiosk by the door. The girl I got had trouble understanding me as I her. She was unbelievably slow. Sloth slow. All I was getting was a urine test. She was visibly lost on the computer. Did I say slow? I'm done. I'm working on new labs. I arrived for a quest bood draw at 715 am at Dublin Methodist Hospital. I had to check in at a computer terminal- no one staffed the check in desk. After waiting an hour I got very thirsty (I was fasting for the draw) There was a water dispenser but no cups. Finally a lady came out of the office and when I questioned her about lack of service she they were short staffed and I should have made an appointment as they take all appointments first and will deal with walkins if time allows. No prior notice was given . When I called Quest they apologized and said someone would call me- no one did. Terrible service - don't go there! read more

I have my lab work done at ohiohealth who recently changed from internal lab management to Quest. I have a hx of need for frequent lab draws and ohiohealth did a decent job with this. I had a lab tech who only missed my one time in 20 years. over the last several months with Quest I have had 4 missed draws and 2 hematomas. the response of the lab technician when she knew she blew the vein was unprofessional. their was 0 empathy, apology or education to me as a patient; in fact their was 0 communication. i tried to call customer service for support with. a lab that was missed from the rx so it could be added while my blood was still good. they would not even discuss it with me even though they have the rx and it was their error. Of note it took me over 30 minutes to even get to a customer service rep as several staff opted not to help me and randomly transfer me. on person told me they did not have their computer up yet. OhioHealth please recognize the quality issues with this provider. read more

This is the first time I ever had to deal with non-human receptionist as this lab only has a small dirty computer kiosk to make an an appointment. There was no warning when I called to make an appointment. As a Deaf person, I require by ADA Law to have access to clear communication but the staff were very quick to shut the door and kept ignoring me despite my waving to get their attention to ask questions. This is discrimination against Deaf patients - I was unsure if the procedure I did were correct nor did I know if the insurance is accepted or not. A man and possibly his elderly mother or relative - they seemed not to be able to read English well -- they were too confused in how to use the computer. I guided them and then half-way, they stopped mid-way as the staff called them. Wasted my time helping them for nothing! Again no opportunity to communicate and once again the door was shut. Had to wait a while despite my scheduled appointment was delayed. Then just as abruptly, the door opened and a curt nurse or whoever she was motioned me impatiently to get inside. Then another staff stepped out of the little room and pointed where to go. When I sat down I gestured butterfly needle - as I have small veins and a history of even expert phlebologist couldn't draw blood. She mumbled and shook her head no, so I took it that they don't have butterfly needles (smaller needles for small veins). I should have walked out - but she jabbed the thick needle into my arm and it HURT like hell. I went home and had a huge black & blue bruise and my arm was very sore for the entire week. It's not the phlebologist fault for not having butterfly needles. But I wonder how do they draw blood for children or disAbled people with challenging veins? I won't go back there and going to have to ask my doctor to find a better lab to refer to. Not dealing with anymore painful jabs like that again. read more

"Walk ins" is BS; they will schedule you into next available, which could be hours. Then they won't check you in until 10 minutes before that appointment, so they don't even know you are there in case they can take you. I was at door at 7:30AM when they were supposed to open, but first employee arrived to unlock it at 7:38. Second employee arrived at 7:43 when there were two appointments scheduled at 7:40. There are better places to spend your health care dollars. read more

If I was able to give this place a negative review I would. The front desk ladies are absolutely unprofessional. The one lady had an attitude with me the very first time I was there the last 2 times I came for an appointment i legitimately waited over 1 hour to be seen watching other people whose appointments were after mine (I knew this because I finally started asking around) I finally got up to the front desk to see how much longer it would be and come to find out it was the Same who had an attitude with me was the same lady who was suppose to take my information from the front desk back. There is absolutely 0 reason to have a doctors appointment when it takes over an hour TO BE BROUGHT BACK! I make my appointments as early as I can because of work and other things things on my schedule. This is very very unprofessional all around. !!! read more

I don't recommend anyone to go there just because they hold me 3 hours outside. Why would someone made appointment 3 hours early if they don't need you for treatment a hack more time to waste. They should treat everyone fairly. read more

I went to Quest Lab for a blood draw, What a mistake... I told the the tech she was hurting me, she said to straighten my arm, It was straight !!! She had the needle in too deep. Now I have terrible bruising, a nice size lump and with quite a bit of soreness. About 8-10 years ago I went to a Quest lab in Gahanna Ohio the same thing !!! Their Phlebotomist are not good. Never never again !!! Want a GOOD blood draw go to go 765 N Hamilton Rd, Gahanna Ohio 43230. Ohio Health Building. I have never ever had a problem there. read more

On the super rare occasion that I needed to take a drug test for a new job, apparently the only place in the entire city to pee in a cup at a reasonable appointment timeslot was quest diagnostics. Now, it's been at least ten years since I had a drug test, probably more, but I don't remember it being such a colossal pain. It's bad enough that the place is not really possible to find based on the directions you're given (not THAT brice rd, a different one, off Broad st. turn left onto Brice Rd. N. then turn left into the "Pentagon Medical Building", it's in there, tucked away on the first floor). What made it worse was the way that the nurse (or practitioner, whatever qualification she had to handle pee cups), treated me like a criminal. I get that people will try and cheat on their tests, but that's no reason to use an aggressive condescending tone, snap your gloves at me, and make me feel genuinely uncomfortable. Here's to hoping it's an experience I don't have a need for anytime soon. But at least next time I'll be able to find it. read more
