The tech hurt my arm a lot when she took my blood, it felt very painful but I didn't say anything because she had already been rude to me and I didn't want to push her. They also have one tech working there so you'll be waiting forever. I've attached a photo of my bruised up arm from where the tech painfully drew blood from me. Came in for some straight forward blood work. Right after the "phlebotomist" a.k.a - specialist in blood taking - stuck me with the needle (they don't use butterfly needles either), the puncture area started immediately blowing up and swelling. Its 2 days later and I have a deep purple, yellow, red and blue bruise (looks like the capillaries in that area popped) spanning from my elbow to the middle of my forearm. Outrageous!!!! Where do you people hire from?????? PS: Hope you don't like privacy either... all the doors are open, you can hear all conversation....who's getting what test and why.....its absolutely horrific. read more

Just went there a few minutes ago, online it doesn't say BY APPOINTMENT ONLY and I went there without an appointment as a walk in and refused to be seen because it actually is by appointment only. Update your records Quest ! I asked the tech kindly if she could see me cause I need bloodwork as I am pregnant and she refused stating she has a full schedule. So rude. I arrived on time and the nurse took walk-ins instead of me. When I alerted her to this, she said she would get to me in 10 more minutes. I then go to check on my car and come back and she calls me and tells me I shouldn't have left. Awful. read more

Worst lab ever! People are super rude, even if you have an appointment your time does not matter, they make you wait and get mad at you if you ask why if you had an appointment you have to wait outside for 30 min. Go to other location or to another lab this SUCKS! read more

Five Stars for Tiffany, Four Stars for Quest. I do not like the walking into a waiting room and signing into a kiosk with no receptionist or in person intake. We have been having major issues with our daughter giving blood for over 3 years. Tiffany was calm, cool, supportive and knew the best way to deal with her. There is no front desk or phone staff to assist you. The kiosk in the waiting room may possibly be warmer and more friendly than the technician. Location is understaffed and the stress is evident. Walk ins are discouraged, as I learned on Monday. So I downloaded the app , and with much effort, was finally able to make a 9am appointment for Wednesday. I'm sure under other circumstances the tech is probably a nice guy, but I didn't expect the unprofessionalism I experienced when I was admonished with loud yells for knocking on the door at 9:35 to simply inquire whether he thought I might be finished by 10am in order to make it to work on time, or should I simply reschedule. I only wanted to ask the question. At that point, the person who had been in the room over 45 mins came out, he took the 1 patient ahead of me and finished in 10 mins. She left and he waited until 10am to come back out...at which he called the person who'd signed in a 1/2 hour after me. I guess he wanted to show me who was the boss! Anyway, I had to leave. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but this is what makes us switch service providers. read more

I arrived at lab opening without an appointment and she greeted quickly with a smile. She efficiently determined what was needed from a standing order and made the experience quick! I just had my second fantastic visit in a row at the Quest testing center, 101 Broadway in Williamsburg Both times Tiffany W. was my tech and she has won me over for life - near about impossible to even know when she inserted the needle to take my blood because she's just that good at it She is also a total joy to deal with and incredible welcoming - imagine (almost) looking forward to going to get blood drawn? Yup, its true... To be clear, I had an absolutely horrible experience at the same location last November, but that was one really awful tech, who is no longer there, so if you had a bad experience there last year too, suggest you try again. My only problem with this place was the wait time. I arrived at 11:30, signed in, and saw no employees for quite a while. There was no receptionist, it seemed like the whole place was being run by one person. There were only 2 other people in the waiting room with me the whole time, and I wasn't called up for 50 mins. The same lady did my intake at the front desk and then took me in the back to draw blood. Once she got me in, the blood draw was quick and painless. The nurse was even able to draw blood from my inner arm when most others have to use the back of my hand. She was also very nice. read more

Wonderful experience an amazing location. Was treated like crap at the Greenpoint Office and the Broadway Office is a Godsend.

Lovely and friendly nurse on duty here and i was seen quickly. But when i followed up on the phone customer service was shockingly awful.

I am not sure about the negative reviews. Maybe I just got lucky with the time and date that I went. I went before noon. There was no wait and the nurse taking the blood was extremely friendly and gentle. I didnt even feel the needle going in. Im glad this location is so close to me as I will be returning whenever I need to have bloodwork done! read more

Because this facility is so clearly understaffed - the wait time for a simple blood draw was over an hour. Totally unacceptable. Someone did not show up for work today Sunday, November 3 2013. They are supposed to be open Sunday, but at 10 AM I found two other people waiting there and no one answered at the office. This reflects very poorly on Quest Diagnostics, this office and their professionalism. read more

I went there today and Wendy was the only technician on site. She was calm, efficient, patient, and gentle. I would definitely go back if I needed more blood work done. The blood draw was painless and left no bruising. I only give it 4 stars because someone else should have been in the office, but this was not Wendy's fault. read more

unbelievable! i am totally disgusted with quest service! i tried a few times to set up an appointment for a glucose test there is no one to talk to, you need to set up your appointment via machine which is really annoying and time consuming. I finally managed to set up an appointment at 10:30. On the day of the appointment I walked a 30 minute walk to its location in pouring rain. I arrived there, there was only one staff member in the office. I read a sign that said to pls notify staff member if you're taking a test that needs to get timed. When he came out i simply notified him about my timed test at which he gave me attitude to wait my turn. I waited patiently and after a 20 minute wait for my turn he tells me "I can't do a 3 hour test for you come back another day 8:00 because the 3 hour test crashes with his lunch. What bad service I told him how disappointed I am making an appointment through a machine which doesn't "tell me that i have to come 8:00!!" For that i had to go straight home again in the pouring rain accomplishing nothing. He simply ignored my upset thoughts and sent me out. this is a company who bills the government millions a year.. read more
