My doctor told me to go to a LabCorp. I did a walk in on a very hot day when I think most people would not have come out. I came in a few minutes before 11. There were about 4 people in the waiting room before me. My blood work was done and I was out in about an hour. The technician for the blood draw was nice, efficient, and accurate. You check in at the kiosk where you put your drivers license on a plate that's read by the machine. All of your personal info comes up. The 2 people doing administrative work at the window are also the people taking your blood. Maybe it's be more efficient if There is one dedicated person at each station. And can rotate. Everything was billed to my insurance. And I didn't have to pay out-of-pocket. I did have to sign a form that said I would pay if my insurance doesn't cover. Potential room for improvement: The bathroom where you Give a urine sample does not have a working sink. So you have to go outside and wash your hands. There can be some alcohol hand wipes or Sanitizing liquid provided in the bathroom. read more

Went in for a drug test for a new client engagement. I made the appointment in the morning for an early afternoon visit the same day. Their computer systems were down and it seemed like only one person was working that day. She was friendly, blunt and efficient. (Almost seemed like a character from a movie). Since their system was down, checking in was more difficult than it had to be. There were two people who's reservation was lost and had to queue after everyone else. Efficient and friendly! I came a couple weeks ago to get some blood and stool work done. Originally there was a bit of a hiccup as they could not find the requisition from my doctor, but I was able to rectify my emailing them my copy. I forgot my wallet at home but was able to check-in using the kiosk without a problem. When I told them I was rushing to get home for a Zoom call, they saw me right away and got me out within minutes. Half a week later, the results were available on my Labcorp patient portal and sent to my doctor. read more

Ms. Cruz is AMAZING. She has renewed my faith in LC (I'll write another review for the other experience ). From the get-go, she was kind, bright and welcoming. She genuinely cares about other humans, and even w/ very tough veins, she managed to draw a lot of blood by being careful and knowledgeable. Just LabCorp in general not any specific location. I received a bill from them. Ok, maybe something was amiss and insurance didn't pay them right away. No biggie, my insurance is pretty good and it was an oversight. I get another letter from them stating "There is no justification on why you haven't paid your overdue bill " in bold letters...oh we like that? Umm I can think of many reasons why I hadn't paid that dead ass $100...seriously coming off like that is rude and unprofessional. I will never do business with them. I will make sure anyone I know that does use them of the hideous unprofessional letter I received. read more

Came here for drug test around 8:40 am. The receptionist was hanging out, not processing forms or sign in. Waited for more than half an hour before called, even though no other clients were waiting. Afterward, the nurse was very rude, quickly took my sample and asked me to leave, which made me feel not treated like a normal human. read more

Contrary to previous reviews on this page, this was a wonderfully professional experience. The staff were friendly, informative and prompt. The gentleman who took my blood was thorough and accurate. He made me feel comfortable and was patient with my questions. They utilize iPads for the check in process and they worked flawlessly. I was in and out in under 20 minutes. I would encourage you to try and go in the morning as it was not terrible busy (myself and two other patients). read more

I had a great experience at LabCorp this morning. Sue was an incredibly efficient multi-tasker. She was managing the check-ins, monitoring the phone/fax and also drawing blood. LabCorp at 65 Broadway has been a blessing to me, due to my frustratingly frequent issues. Bloodwork done here is nearly or fully painless, especially if Patricia does it. Caring, helpful, and cheerful is how I would describe the staff. Often when I must go there, I'm in pain and/or distress. Every kindness from them is noted and remembered. I would think twice about going here m. I went there for done simple blood work ordered by my physician. It was close to my work. I didn't have an appointment as I didn't know I needed one. The built was easy tigons but you had to sign in. The office was difficult to find once I got to the floor it needs better signage. My main complaint is the receptionist. She was very unfriendly acting almost robotic. This was 8:40 am on a Friday. She told me what to do took my insurance card had me fill out my information on a machine and then wait. She didn't give me back my insurance card. After a short wait I was told to go into a room. Once there the same person told me to roll up my left arm. I told her I always have it taken from the right side. She said no left. She took the blood not saying anything more. Afterwards she pointed to my card in the table and said I could go. Having been to a dozen LabCorps in the NYC area, this one is by far and away, the best. The facility has undergone a recent remodel and looks wonderful and super covid-19 clean! Jay was on duty as receptionist, intake, and phlebotomist, and excelled at every task. He was kind, fast, knowledgeable, professional, and made a great experience out of a normally painful one. Unpleasant experience start to finish. The staff looks at you as if you are stupid when you ask ANY question. The office is eerily quiet with the one phlebotomist you will be dealing with. Am I on the set of American Horror Story? Anyway, my vein is hard to find so I simply asked after making a fist, "are you able to spot my vein? I know it's hard to find." She snaps at me, "you need to give me time." You're going to stick a damn needle in me and I can't ask if you've found my vein? As if she was offended by what I asked and with vengeance she stuck the needle in me and it was really painful. I got my blood withdrawn for other purposes just one week ago from a nurse at a specialty office so I have a pretty recent comparison to make. It felt as if she was moving the needle around with big movements on purpose. I was freaking out because I was in so much pain unlike other times. Needless to say, it bruised in a few hours. I had NO bruising from my blood withdrawal just one week ago which was done on the same arm. Reference photos. She took my weight and height with my shoes on. Asked me to tape measure my own waist. Came here for a pre employment drug test since its the closest to where I live. Front desk receptionists are really rude, not like the ones I used to go to in Delaware. One girl was on her phone, another one was eating and chewing. Gave me a paper to fill out and told me to sit down. Waited forever to be called on when there's only me and one other person. They also talked about their own personal business out loud too. Maybe close the screen window next time! I really dislike unprofessional health care places. read more

I visited Labcorp at 65 broadway new york ny 10006. I dealt with Patricia and Jean who were amazing individuals. They calmed me down when I explained to them a horrible experience I just had when I entered the building in the main lobby with the 9am security guard Andre. Andre was extremely rude and threatened me. Patricia assured me that everything will be ok. She provided me with information I needed to report the incident. Patricia did my testing and was very easy going, nice and understanding. She cared for my safety and walked me to another side of the building to exit, so that I did not encounter the security guard. I will give Labcorp five stars. However BBB will get a letter regarding the security guard who threatened me. I spoke with the Property Manager Ezie who was very accommodating and understanding, he referred me to the VIP Senior Operations Manager Nick Oren for me to explain the situation to him as well. Ezie also promised to follow up with Nick because the action on the part of the security guard was unacceptable. When I spoke with Nick he told me that what transpired was unacceptable and that he was going to speak with him and assured that the next time I visit he apologizes to me. However I feel more than a sit down is needed because for someone to threaten my life means this person has nothing to lose. I most likely will not visit this location but not because of Labcorp. Horrible careless staff. They don't even read carefully the doctor's script. I have been going for lab work at a different place and the doctor's have always required urine sample. However, the stupid lab-corp staff insisted with an attitude that urine sample is not required. I insisted that she thoroughly double check the paperwork before I leave. When she did, she said she would need to draw more blood and asked for urine sample. She felt no sorry for the mistake she did. In addition, the staff still hasn't learned how to greet the just arrived patients with a simple statement like- HOW CAN I HELP YOU? She just stares at the people and expects them to go to her.
