I had several people who arrived after me go before me and when I asked about it, it was acknowledged I should have been next. I felt the staff minimized my concerns and I was made to feel like I was a burden. I ended up asking for a paper prescription to bring in because I wasn't confident it would get sent in electronically.

We came in to find that "they are running a 90 min wait time." Explained that we had an appointment, but that didn't matter, because it isn't an appointment apparently. You are entered into the same list as walk in patients when you arrive. The walk in clients were given the same wait time that was given to us. Why even offer scheduling if it isn't honored? If I knew this was operational procedure prior to arriving, I would have sought other options that are now closed on a Saturday afternoon. This leaves me with no choices other than the ER until Monday.

I found her behavior towards me be extremely rude and crass. Apparently, she may own the place however she came across as very envious of her former medical technician that built a rapport with her clients that the owner is incapable of serving either medically or professionally. I was appalled by her ignorant comments about her former employee's tattoos... Like why'd you hired her in the first place, if her tattoos were such an issue? Don't demean an excellent technician just because you can't match her expertise in the field so you attack her appearance!? If this owner ever snaps at you because her inadequacies have been revealed and she can't handle it, give it right back to her and walk out the front door. I had a horrible experience here. I was not treated properly. I therefore do not recommend Healthchek. She is a nasty person!

I have been here twice for bloodwork and I find their prices…read moreremarkably inexpensive, excellent for those without insurance or need more cost-effective testing than insurance will cover. The facility is located in a shared space in downtown Streator. I usually park in the front in the street, but I believe there is additional parking behind the building. It is super clean in the business, and you just fill out your information and you're in and out. If you sign up for their newsletter they will send you monthly specials which is what prompted me to come back a second time. The specials are so good! Kristy was very careful during the blood draw and I felt like I was a valued customer. You will want to check their website before coming in (no appointments) because their hours are limited. Results are sent to you in a couple days, super fast in my opinion, and you can have them sent to your personal email if you wish. You also do not need to have a doctor's order to get a test, you can come in and tell them specifically which test(s) you want. Best value for labs in the area in my opinion.

That alone would keep me coming back, but they are also extremely affordable. The same tests at my regular healthcare provider would cost $450, here they are hundreds less. The staff are always friendly and I'm usually in and out. I would highly recommend.
