I figured I'd do it early, because I had to fast prior to my appointment. Their waiting area, is clean and small, with a very handy check in kiosk. This is where I scanned my driver's license, and insurance card. Right then, one of the nurses came and called me to come to the examining room. I've spent less than a minute waiting, I really appreciate this. I don't love needles, and when it comes to occasions like this, I still go by the little kids rule of "don't look and it won't hurt". So the job was done, quick, and painless. However, I felt a bit, lightheaded after. I told the phlebotomist I didn't feel well. I would appreciate some water. She just told me to "have a nice day" and lifted the arm rest. Ok. Well, we all know she didn't really care about how nice my day was. Needless to say, while the job did get done. I don't appreciate people who work in healthcare, who have no common sense courtesy towards people.

My veins are hard to stabilize and they usually poke around and I have a wind up with a big black and blue bruise. He went to a new spot and was so fast I was surprised, no blood, no bruise. This was on May 26th in Bloomfield. My wife had hers done also and when we walked out my wife said that was the easiest and fastest ever confirming my experience. If he can do it that well everyone should be able to.

Billing, and what amounts I guess to Customer Service, have insisted on the wrong narrative over and over. It seemingly is an organizational catastrophe over there, with no one able to not only solve problems for themselves, but solve between departments. (UPDATE) After several more weeks of dealing with this, I have reached a satisfactory resolution and my bill was zeroed out. However, this is after literally dozens of attempts with at least 4 different people in the office who said they were going to "forward this to the Lab Director" and receiving no follow-up. I managed to wheedle an email to said Lab Director, who actually wrote back and said, "Honestly, that is the first I've heard of this and after three or four more cc'd emails, it looked like it had been rectified..." Absolute, total, utter mismanagement by all parties at this operation.

The woman who works there is a fantastic phlebotomist. She always finds a vein, does the puncture and collects the blood quickly and efficiently. I almost never have a bruise and the bleeding stops quickly. I'm known to pass out but she gets it done so fast I never even have a chance. She's truly great and I'm a loyal patient even when the wait is like 45 minutes long. I recommend her to anyone!

They eventually did, but the journey getting there was quite painful until this morning when Josie (the phlebotomist ) found a good vein-immediately, inserted her needle expertly without any pain and pulled four vials of blood in what felt like a second ! Booking an appointment online was quick and easy. I've always used QD for the majority of my labs, for years now; pretty much all of my doctors and insurance providers use their services. Checking in was easy, there is a kiosk and/or a link gets texted to your mobile phone to check in. On my first visit, I waited a few minutes in the lobby before being called in for my appointment. The person helping was cordial but unfortunately she couldn't proceed with my blood work; my doctor didn't completely fill out the requisition, so the system wouldn't let her proceed. This wasn't her fault and I understood, but I was disappointed because I was fasting and drove there early for this appointment. Since it's a Saturday, I couldn't reach my doctor for the missing code. I had to reach my doctor on Monday for this info. and rebook another appointment. In the end, my experience was 1 star but at no fault of Quest Diagnostics; I gave them 4 stars because ease of making an appointment, how quickly I got in, and cleanliness.

This is the second time this year last time he was 5 min late and the lady couldn't help answer questions and then when she finally asked what our question was she said that too late now your appointment expired. If you are not waiting in the lobby they are too busy and can't be bothered. Save some headache and aggravation, I'll go elsewhere.

I always make an appointment on line so I don't to wait when I arrive and as such they always have my information in the system. If you have an appointment and there are walk ins, you will be moved to the top of the list based on your appointment time. The phlebotomists are all extremely friendly and warm. They help make this horrible process of needles and drawing blood manageable and they are very nice. I've never had a bad experience here and because of the great service here, I don't dread my regular visits.
