My bloodwork was sent to them for testing. Long story short, I was charged twice. I paid for one…read moretest. Seven months later, I am still fighting to not pay the second bill. Billing, and what amounts I guess to Customer Service, have insisted on the wrong narrative over and over. It seemingly is an organizational catastrophe over there, with no one able to not only solve problems for themselves, but solve between departments. (UPDATE) After several more weeks of dealing with this, I have reached a satisfactory resolution and my bill was zeroed out. However, this is after literally dozens of attempts with at least 4 different people in the office who said they were going to "forward this to the Lab Director" and receiving no follow-up. I managed to wheedle an email to said Lab Director, who actually wrote back and said, "Honestly, that is the first I've heard of this and after three or four more cc'd emails, it looked like it had been rectified..." Absolute, total, utter mismanagement by all parties at this operation.

My doctors office is right down the hall and she always recommends Collaborative Labs. When I moved…read morebut kept seeing her, I tried going to Quest because it was closer, but since my boyfriend lives in the area I've been going back to collaborative. The woman who works there is a fantastic phlebotomist. She always finds a vein, does the puncture and collects the blood quickly and efficiently. I almost never have a bruise and the bleeding stops quickly. I'm known to pass out but she gets it done so fast I never even have a chance. She's truly great and I'm a loyal patient even when the wait is like 45 minutes long. I recommend her to anyone!

I have been to the West Hartford location 3 times since the new owners took over. Past 2 times were…read morewonderful. I believe I saw the same female provider (Amanda) twice once for myself who was very compassionate, provided X-Rays and was able to send me on my way. The wait time was slightly longer than I would have liked but staff was friendly and the facility was clean. The second time I came here for one of my children. The wait was very long even though I had an appointment and we had to sit in the car for over 45 min. However, the MA and the provider (Amanda) were super nice with my young child. She gave them a full inspection, conducted a full rapid test and sent out the PCR. She shared with me her thoughts as to her suspicions of his symptoms were likely linked to allergies but we were airing on the side of caution. She never stated my child would need to stay home from school an additional 10 days (after PCR results came back) if their results from the PCR were negative. She simply said he could be fine to go back but we were pending results. At the time I had not called his nurse at school but when I left I called the nurse at school letting him know of his absence and rapid test bring negative but were were keeping him home until PCR comes back. She asked for a note when the results came in rather than a result per school requirements so I waited for my appointment with my other child the following morning to ask for this request. The third time was a complete different story. We had an appointment, wait time was minimal and he went right back to have his testing. His Rapid came back negative but I had asked the provider (Stephen) if he would be able to write a note for my child seen yesterday biding the negative PCR result so they could return back to school the next day. Being I am in healthcare, I found this to be a normal and reasonable request. This provider- Stephen Gobielle PA-C was extremely rude telling me he would NOT be writing a letter for my child seen the day before bc even if they have a negative PCR test they had symptoms and there is a slight chance with a negative PCR he could still be positive. In my year of testing and experience with COVid, I have had many PCR tests done for me and my family, from many different locations and urgent care facilities here in West Hartford. This message Stephen was trying to share was something I had never heard. I even reached out to his pediatrician and nurse at school who were both in agreement that this was completely absurd. Not only did he NOT want to write me a note, he was extremely rude to me stating in the room that 'life sucks some times'. WOW SO UNProfessional. PhysicianOne if you want my business again this PA-C should not be a part of yours. This is not an appropriate way to speak to a client EVER. UPDATE- after calling the office and speaking with the Office Manager she escalated this issue immediately to the Physician Dr. Kenkare who oversees this practice. Dr Kenkare called me the next day to apologize for his behavior and thank me for coming forward to share this experience. She said this was an opportunity to re-train this process now with allergy season on what their message will look like to patients who present with symptoms and come back with a negative PCR test. She also apologized for me on the behavior of the PA Stephen. Even though he never circled back to me directly to apologize I appreciated her recognizing his behavior was not professional. I do appreciate that they address issues as they present which shows me they care.

Swab took all of 5 min. And I've been sitting in the room after my swab for another 50min waiting to get checked out. DO NOT COME HERE FOR A COVID TEST! I'd be afraid to come here for medical attention. No one even stops in to say we'll be right with you. Wow just wow. Horrible service. So as I'm bored and waiting what do I do? Look around the room. Ayup it's filthy... please check out my pics. I would like physicianone for giving me time to write this review. I wonder if they will bring in lunch and dinner. Would it be rude to have a pizza delivered? I'll probably be here until the pandemic ends..... the silver lining LMAO!
