I had a pleasant experience at this location. The employees were nice and helpful. I came in for a drug screen and I was in and out pretty quick. I definitely recommend making an appointment and avoid waiting in line. I parked in the garage for convenience. They validated for the first 15 min and I ended up paying $1.75. With all the construction in the area it's hard to find street parking. Your best bet would be the metered parking on La Cienaga Blvd if you wanted to avoid the parking garage. read more

I am a provider in the New York are. I have been trying to refer a patient to Quest for lab work. I waited for over 2 hours on the phone Monday to get someone to make the appointment. After faxing the prescription yesterday the patient called to say that the lab never received it and they were ready to kick them out. I just spent another hour faxing again nd again but their line is not working well enough to take it. No one answers the phone there even for a provider. read more

I was supposed to get results in 5-7 days, it's been 10. The website is circuitous and not helpful and it's impossible to get anyone on the phone to answer a question. When and how will I get my results? I have no idea and there's no one available to answer this for me and the site doesn't show that I have any pending results. read more

The last time I was here, while I was walked into the bathroom to give a urine sample - a nurse popped her head in and and sprayed disinfectant everywhere while I was standing there. Thank God that I had not unzipped yet. The only thing worse is their call in 'customer support' - I had to ask the same question 3x, with them giving me a completely unrelated answer and then hanging up on me! Slow and condescending service. $$$$$ parking. read more

I just went back here to drop off a specimen. I was informed when I was previously here that I did not need to make an appointment to do a drop off. The "Drill Sergeant" (DS) was on the front desk again, shouting at everyone. No niceties etc and marching up to people and pointing a "gun" at their head with no explanation. DS told me I had to sign in in order to drop off the specimen. I did so. After 20 minutes and 6 people arriving after me being processed before me, I explained to DS that I had another appointment and needed to just drop this off and get going. As before, DS didn't even let me finish my sentence and barked at me "well, other people have appointments." I calmly explained that I was told I didn't need an appointment to do drop off. She again aggressively interrupted me saying "Other people have appointments!" I tried again to explain that if I needed an appointment to drop off a specimen then that should've been explained to me, but again she interrupted me and barked "other people have appointments - I have to get through the appointments." She kept me waiting for 43 minutes before she finally took my specimen, had me sign some paper and I could leave - which took about 43 seconds... When she called me up, instead of calling my name, like she did for everyone else (and which she knew), she barked "Drop off lady!" a few times before I realized she was talking to me. Furthermore, she told me I had to pay extra, when my understanding was I'd already paid for it the other day when I came in. Instead of saying "oh, let me check" or explaining it to me, she merely barked "no, you have to pay copay." She sapped so much of my energy that I just couldn't bare to argue with her. I guess that's how she gets away with the way she treats people - by shutting them down and interrupting them until they have nothing left. This woman (who's name I know but choose not to write here), despite working with sick people, shows no compassion, no kindness, no friendliness, no common courtesy. She is SO angry and it's so so sad, as it makes me wonder what on earth is so wrong in her life that she treats others like this, that she's so aggressive and rude, and it reminds me to be extra kind and courteous to people, especially during these Covid times. There was another lady working there today who popped out to allow a man in and, as she walked towards him she said "Good morning - welcome - I'm just going to check your temperature before I let you in." She also helped a couple of other people and was incredibly courteous, gentle and kind to all of them. A breath of fresh air after the toxicity DS creates in there. I do not know her name, but I believe she is African-American. It takes a lot to upset me. I'm always the calm one in the group. But this woman really, really upset me and now I'm home with the worst headache. I hope she can find happiness in her life so she can stop treating others like something she trod in in the park. :( read more

Waited over 1.5hrs to get a drug test- to literally pee in a cup. staff was rude and very unhelpful. The wait times on the screen is so misleading. Why put 5 minutes on the screen when you have to wait more than an hr? read more

I had an appointment. Berenice was so rude and unwelcoming. She gave off a condescending vibe and appeared as if she did not want to help me. I came in for testing, she was so disrespectful. She kept asking questions that made me feel uneasy. She accused me of trying to falsify my testing. I could not believe what I was hearing. She could not give a clear explanation of what the error was. She was going back and forth with the vagueness. I believe Berenice targeted me because I'm hispanic and appear more on the darker skin complexion. It appears she has self hate towards herself and projects it only others. She was being very discriminative towards me. Accusing me of falsifying testing, and lacking professionalism. She then called the employer stating I refused to take the test. She was trying to hold me against my will and attempted to treat me like a child. I never once said that I refused to take the test. She put words in my mouth and this is unacceptable. Then she denied the allegations by contradicting herself saying she didn't accuse me. She's a liar, just the worst human being I've ever met. I decided not to proceed at this place being targeted and treated like a criminal. Berenice harassed me and made me feel uncomfortable, please stay away! The staff here is mediocre, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Never have I ever been to such a unprofessional and prejudice testing facility. Berenice discriminates based on the color of your skin, a warning to you all. She's a terrible human being and hates her job. Berenice takes out her anger and frustration with the clients there. This place should not be in business, I could not believe a location could be run in such a manner. read more

I had orders from my doctor to get a blood draw and I needed it done right away. I took the afternoon off work to go the this Quest service center at 8501 Wilshire Blvd Suite 305, Beverly Hills, CA 90211 to get my blood drawn. I usually make an appointment, but owing to the unpredictable time when I could get off, I just went in as a walk-in patient, and this facility has always taken walk-in patients. I arrived and there was nobody else there waiting. A tech named J***ie asked if I had an appointment and when I told her no, she turned me away and said I'd have to go to another facility. My test orders were sent to THAT facility. I cannot take time off tomorrow during their working hours so now I have to wait until Monday to get my blood drawn. I called the Customer Service Center and spoke to a supervisor. She said that as far as she knows, they are not supposed to be turning away walk-in patients as they transition to the appointment-only system. I had no foreknowledge of this, and neither did any of my doctor's offices. They just arbitrarily picked June 1st to start turning people away. After being on hold and then speaking with Customer Service (who said they could only file a complaint and get back to me), I went back into the Servicer Center office. When I got there, there were still no patients waiting, one of the techs named Cr***al was wiping down chairs in the waiting area and J***ie and another tech name V****sa (or something phonetically similar) were behind the counter just talking. I told them what the Customer Service Center told me and they said they were under orders to turn away walk-ins. A man and his young son came in after me and said he tried to make a same-day appointment online but the system wouldn't let him and they were in the process of turning him away too. He said to them "I had to drive 45 minutes just to get here," to which they replied "We all had to travel 45 minutes to get here, so what?" They then proceeded to ask me what test I was having taken there across the lobby with another person behind me which was a clear HIPPA violation. Thinking that there was a chance that the importance of my test might change their mind, I let them know (and the man and his son) what they were. They then told me I could go to another office and get those done, at 3:50pm and that office closed at 4:00pmThey were clearly not busy. They could have taken me (as well as the man and his son) and just told us to make an appointment next time. I asked to speak with their supervisor and they said "there is no supervisor here." Is this what you call Customer Service??? I'm not coming in to get a f#%&ing manicure, this is my MEDICAL CARE we're talking about. They were completely out of line and I am going onto Yelp, onto all of your Social Media sites, to the Better Business Borough, to my insurance company (Aetna), and Cedars Sinai medical group and tell them exactly what I'm telling you. But all this doesn't make any difference to you, does it? I HAVE to go there for labs, according to my HMO. You should change your company slogan to "WE DON'T CARE, BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE TO." read more

You're all crazy. Was in and out in 3 minutes. Few people in the lobby complaining that they couldn't walk-in, book an appointment.

I got here at 8. They couldn't find my paperwork. They were confused by my name. Eventually I got in to get my blood drawn and the girl wanted to take it from my hand! That's the most painful place. She ended up getting it from my arm, but why even consider my hand?!? After I did my urine sample there was no soap to wash my hands! Terrible. read more

I see a lot of negative reviews for this place, but frankly, my experience was great. Walked in, signed in, was helped within 3 minutes. My doctor's order had expired but the staff waited while I called my doctor's office, got on the phone with my doctor's office to expedite the renewal of the order and helped me out. Got my blood drawn and was out the door within 10 minutes. Helpful, friendly, efficient. read more

This place is terrible. I am a nurse and it shouldn't take this long to do a simple blood draw. It seems that half the time there is only 1 person working and the others are sitting at the desk. This place is absolutely terrible. read more

I won't even give this place one star. Quest is one of the worst companies I have ever seen. Had a great experience at this Quest Diagnostics getting a drug test for work. Was able to make an appointment for Thursday 11:30AM the day before, but there was no need for an appointment as the waiting room was quite empty at 11AM when I got there. Parking was easy - they have a lot under the building (the entrance is on Le Doux) and there were plenty of visitor spots. I waited around 15 minutes before the nurse took me for the appointment. I got my parking validated (two 15 minute stickers) and was back in my car about 25 minutes later so parking was free. Couldn't have asked for anything more! read more

Worst lab ever! They are slow and stupid. The wait time was ridiculous, 60 minutes! I called my doctor the next day about my labs for surgery and he says well they did all except the ones I really needed. He called over there and they told him they had the order that they just forgot to draw for it. What?????? You had one job! I had to run to my doctor's office so he could run the labs he needed so my surgery time didn't get cancelled. The reception guy was a douche with poor customer service skills. The guy who drew my blood a buff older dude was great but overworked with an idiotic coworker. read more

Where do I begin? (1) Their corporate problems: Their website makes the one for obamacare look easy..I spent 3 hours on it just trying to use my existing account to make an appointment and got nowhere. Their automated phone reservation number is no better. It doesn't give you time to answer the questions they ask. You wind up with a confirmation number but when you get to the location, they won't accept it without an email which the phone system can't generate. (2) This particular site location. Staff tries to be helpful but never enough of them. The same person who draws your blood is supposed to check you in at the front desk. Job descriptions must start with: "Need the ability to be two places at the same time." You could wait over an hour just to talk to anyone. If my health insurer didn't demand I come here, I'd pick another lab. This is the best oi all the L.A. Quest sites only because this is the only clean one. But without adequate staffing anywhere, Quest is a total disaster. You can't use the phone or the website to file complaints. Only an after-visit form which only deals with the staff. They are well-trained but is it their fault there are so few of them? If you get off on frustration, this is your kind of place. Just don't take it out on the staff. They work for a health corporation that is toxic. read more

I was very impressed with Quest Diagnostics overall, and this location specifically, despite their poor reviews. It was my first time using Quest and they exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff, fast service (even without an appointment), and utmost cleanliness. I'm not sure what my phlebotomist's name was, but she was a gem. I don't have the greatest of veins, but she was able to work with me effectively and patiently to find an appropriate area of my arm to draw blood from. She was kind, professional, and just so patient, yet quick. Once she found a good vein, it only took her 20 seconds to draw two tubes of blood from me. Again, I was so impressed and had a very satisfying and smooth experience. Thank you! read more

I don't know why everyone is bashing on them like they are here for some spa service. It's normally blood work or drug test for school/work so it really isn't a customer service kind of place. You come in, they proficiently do their job, you leave in less than 15 mins. It's about the accuracy of the work not so much the "smiles" that's important, Ya know?? So all in all, they're quick at what they do and that's preferable to me than some friendly chatty place that takes half the day to get my testings done. See they finished drawing my blood before I even finished writing this review. read more

I never write reviews but I am hoping the manager will read this and discuss the meaning of kindness to your staff. This was the rudest group of medical professionals I have even encountered. No "hello", nobody introduced them selves before drawing my blood, (that's a big one, not just rude). When I said thank you, Robert said "mm hmm". When I said good bye nobody acknowledged me, so I didn't it again and the red head said "mm hmm", just like the guy. I know this is not part of Cedars Sinai technically but it is in one of their buildings. I am an employee at cedars and I am embarrassed to be associated with them. You did your job. I just feel so gross having left there and having been treated like a criminal. I am writing this review from the hall outside your location. I don't think anyone expects anything special from a lab, just professional (or even just human) politeness. read more

Came here this morning with a scheduled appointment for a blood draw. Receptionist was not very welcoming or friendly. Wait was not very long- maybe 5-10 minutes after my appt. time. Best part- technician (sorry, didn't notice her name) was very skilled & I barely felt anything. She was fast & efficient. The not so good part- was led to restroom for urinalysis & I noticed there was no toilet paper so I had to ask for it. Afterwards, saw there was no soap (really?!) or trash can to dispose of materials. No one was at the desk to inform, so I waited til someone showed up. Then was told, "yes, that's done on purpose because that's a test room" " There's a sink with soap over here you can use" Just a thought- how about informing the patient of this little tidbit BEFORE they go into the restroom? read more

This is the most incompetent Quest location I've ever been to. I walked in around 11 am on a Friday and signed in via their iPad kiosk. The iPad confirmed my check-in and sent me a text saying my wait was approximately 23 minutes and I would receive a text when it was my turn. I also noticed there was a TV screen on the wall that had the names of guests waiting (first name, last initial) and the estimated wait time. I sat in a chair in the waiting room to wait. After about 20 minutes, I noticed my name vanished from the TV screen queue. I went up to the front desk and asked the woman (dressed as a phlebotomist) what happened with my place in line and she rudely said "we called you." "No," I replied, "that's impossible, I've been sitting here the whole time and you haven't called my name." "Well," she said, "we don't take walk-ins, you'll have to make an appointment and come back next week." I then said "what do you mean? I checked in, received a confirmation text and my name WAS ON THE SCREEN as part of the queue for 20 minutes?!" She just kept repeating endlessly, "We don't take walk-ins, you'll have to come back." I said, " but I've been sitting here for 20 minutes waiting. I need this blood work done as soon as possible." She didn't even give me the option to wait longer. "You'll have to come back, we don't take walk-ins." I had called their phone before I drove over and there was no mention on the recording of not taking walk-ins. I left extremely frustrated and another guest came up to me in the elevator and expressed her frustration with me. The employees here seemed to want to do the least amount possible and see the least amount of people, probably because they get paid the same amount regardless. But this is no way to run a business or offer good customer service. Other labs are respectful and will get my business next. read more

My husband has been to the Wilshire Blvd Quest repeatedly. On the one hand, he says they're usually painless when it comes to blood draws, and when Eduardo drew mine, it was the most painless I've experienced - fast, too. On the other hand, the place is very impersonal and the people at the desk are the same people who do the administration on the computers, so they're super busy. The parking lot isn't bad, although expect to have to pay a bit, and my husband has always been taken without an appointment - while there's some waiting, it's usually between 10 and 15 minutes, which isn't bad without an appointment. read more

Walked in at 9 on saturday morning for a massive blood draw and was seen fast! Very friendly staff.

Disorganized. They couldn't find my lab results in their system. Quest kept telling my Dr. they didn't have them. and it took hours to figure out what happened via Quest. These results were critical and time-oriented. It turns out, my name and birthdate were entered in wrong. With Quest, it took too many hours to finally get to the right person who could figure out what happened. With Labcorp, someone usually answers right away and can track down your info pronto. I gave 2 stars here for the tech being very good at drawing blood, but Labcorp overalls seems to be more efficient and organized, so I tend to go there now. read more
