Queso Good catered during lunch hour at my place of employment. They were set up early and once they were open to accept orders, the ordering process was efficient and the food came out quickly. A suggestion for improvement is that the menu near the ordering window did not match the menu on the side of the truck, nor did the food come out according to the menu. I ordered the Hail Caesar with a side of guacamole ($2 for a tiny ramekin). The menu did not state there were onions on the dilla but I asked when I ordered to confirm there were no onions. The man taking orders told me that if the menu didn't say onions were included, then onions wouldn't be included. Guess what was included? Giant chunks of red onion. One of the better Mexican food trucks I've tried. I think I've had lunch from their truck about 3 times now. They have been coming to our office location frequently and they're so popular. Their tortillas are some of the best I've had, they must make them themselves. I've tried their carne asada burrito a couple of times and it's very good. I usually skip the cheese and it's delicious and very filling. It comes with tortilla chips on the side. They have 2 salsas on a table usually and one can fill as many little containers as they want. One is mild and one is medium. The medium is a salsa verde and it is just the right amount of spicy. They also sell fresh Agua Fresca. I tried their mango flavor and it is DELICIOUS!! They sell it in large glass mason jars which you can keep, hence the slightly high price. I tried it twice in the summer and it was so refreshing. I've seen Queso Good at a lot of events, and it was great to try them at last. They were at Libcon West at the Glendale Library. I wanted a somewhat healthy option for lunch, so I chose carne asada tacos. I can't testify as to what the ordering process was like, as a friend handled that for a bunch of us stuck at our tables. I was starving, and these tacos hit the spot. The seasonings were quite good and the beef was wonderfully tender. The tacos are heaped with filling, so definitely get a fork and napkins to keep handy! It has been way too long! When I saw the Queso Truck was nearby I had to take my kids and go. I found this truck originally when I worked for a huge corporation and they came often to our site. My favorite is their Nacho Mama nachos. Unfortunately their menu today was shortened, but I was glad to try their nacho supremes. OH. MY. LAWD. Ya girl got Queso Good at a residential adult Christmas party. AKA-- one of my amazing friends hired them for dinner, to our surprise for ~40 of us, to park at their house for a few hours, and feed us. We had a few pre-planned options - quesadillas, tacos, or supreme nachos, + rice and beans, a beverage... AND CHURROS! Plus the plethora of side things on their table for dinner and churros. I opted for the nachos which were swimming in cheese.. so we deemed it nacho soup. There actually is a limit to how much nacho cheese is an acceptable amount for chips. Yep, I said it. The churros needed more sugar& cinnamon. Mostly the taste was fried dough which is cool and all, but I really was hoping for something better than a TBell dessert. First off, the beef looks like it was ground up into a paste maybe meant for a quesadilla. I was skeptical.... but hungry. Luckily I didn't get sick, but the texture was entirely off for tacos. I use to go to this truck Years ago and liked it. It was a little greasy. But tonight I ordered a cheese quesadilla. First off the menu online says they have pepper jack cheese, cheddar jack or mozzarella. I get there they no longer carry pepper jack. This is a Mexican truck but has mozzarella. 2nd I wanted to build my own with steak, corn relish and Pico. I was told the corn relish was only for one of the special ones. Do not use this company. They have terrible follow up and are extremely unprofessional. Very disappointed that they never sent me a quote after telling me my event was tentatively on their schedule. In N Out is like 2 minutes away from work, so if I want a burger, I will head there. I decided to check out Queso Good and get myself a quesadilla. I went with a Carne Asada Quesadilla. Pretty simple...huge flour tortilla, melted cheese, plenty of carne asada, sour cream and guacamole. It came with about 10 chips and I had some churros for dessert. All of this was free because work paid for it. Regularly priced, I think the quesadillas are about $8.00 or so. It was pretty fat and tasted really good....especially for Phoenix (San Diego Mexican food is still far superior!). The churros were a tad skimp. It was really like one small churro cut into about 6 pieces. Tasty enough, but far from great. The only reason why this place doesn't get higher than 3 stars is because of 2 things..... 1. They were selling Cokes for $2.00. We can buy cans of Coke at work for .25 cents. So whoever purchased a Coke from them, is not too great in math and got ripped off! 2. My friend had an order of their nachos. About an hour later, they were bowing to the porcelain God. Something in those nachos messed them up, big time! If I saw them around town, would I come back? Came to our work. Tried the Argentine steak queso at $11, the steak/meat was low grade and had a lot of gristle/fat. Alot of grease too, but you have to expect that with a cheese quesadilla but this seemed excessive. They served it with tortilla chips and salsa - chips were overcooked and salsa was watery. There are about 10 varieties to choose from, but know they all have one thing in common. They're HUGE. This could be two separate meals, but anything is single-serving if you're hungry enough! ;-) I opted for the "pork-a-dilla", stuffed with guacamole, roasted pork, a touch of sour cream, and chorizo. While the tortilla was much too buttery for me, I immediately gorged on the gigantic meal, with the messy contents spilling out into my little basket. Fortunately, they give you a side of tortilla chips to scoop up every bit of goodness. Be sure to pour some of their tasty green salsa over that. This most recent time I had tacos for $6.50 so the price point for a food truck seems pretty good. There was one person cooking in the truck and one person taking orders.
