My friend ordered the highly talk about birria taco. And i ordered birria sandwich. Ordered the mexican-style tiramisu as well. Friend love the birria tacos and not so much the sandwich. As for me, both are alright. Not wow or to rave about. I love the green chili sauce tho. I enjoy my sandwich because of this sauce....and I pour it generously. Tiramisu is good , light and not too sweet. but didnt blow my mind either. Friendly and attentive service. They have dining table at the main room (where the cashier and kitchen is), another dining area further back (no view of kitchen and cashier) where we sat. My area was empty except me and friend and less traffic for the server to come by or maybe check on us since we r out of sight (unless they wanna go to washroom). hence it's bit harder to find someone to help . need to walk to cashier to ask for stuff. Overall, good one-time experience.

We were the only table there, and then another table came and sat inside with two gentlemen that seemed to be getting regular service, but not us. My husband ordered water twice. We never got any water. The appetizers were OK but nothing to write home to Mom about and the service was so bad that we decided to not eat dinner there. We also asked for the Bill. She went away for about 10 or 15 minutes and then came back and there was still no bill. Margaritas were small and we're not tasty at all and not very strong. Spent $60 and left a four dollar tip which was more than they deserved. Will not be back.

The ambiance is nice there's music and the seating arrangement is well balanced for small groups larger groups and bar seating as well. The food was beyond delicious. I was satisfied with all the dishes we ordered. The enfrijoladas was a great dish super filling and the flavours were well balanced the hot sauce was a nice addition very flavourful but a nice kick of spice. The Flautas were a bit crispy in my opinion I would as for them a little less well done next time but it was still very good I'd recommend getting a side of refied beans to dip with it. We got a side of grilled jalapeños and they were soo good a nice flavour profile not to spicy. I would definitely be back 9/10

The pork belly tacos were tasty with good seasoning, but the pork was a little on the dry side. Even so, they were still enjoyable and had great toppings that balanced everything out. When we arrived at Contigo shortly after they opened on a recent Saturday, the place was pretty…read moremuch empty. But by the time we left, the joint was hopping. I can see why. We decided to start with the Fries Supreme, which have obviously been modeled after Taco Bell's iconic dish. And yeah, they definitely reminded me of that concoction. The fries could've been fresher and hotter but otherwise I quite enjoyed this messy plate. For the main, I went with a couple of tacos: the Chorizo and the Pulled Pork. The latter I found especially enjoyable, as the sauce the pork had been cooked in was delicious. (It was large chunks of pork, though, so I'm not quite sure it qualifies as pulled pork.) The many hot sauces available, plus the two sauces brought with the tacos, really elevated the whole thing, but I really enjoyed the creamy, cilantro-forward sauce included on the plate. Contigo is a cool little place. I'm sure I'll be returning.

It was definitely way too much food for 2 people lol. The wet burrito was really unique and overall pretty good -- I never had something quite like it before! Though I will say, through this experience, I have realized I prefer my burritos with a crunchy/toasted exterior rather than one that is soggy/drenched in a tomato-based sauce (salsa?). It is massive, kind of challenging to eat, warm, and comforting. The enchiladas were also pretty good but a bit too salty for my liking. Perhaps they accidentally overseasoned the steak that day. The rice and beans added a nice touch to the plate. I never expected to say this, but the Mex Fries ended up being my favourite of the dishes. They were so crispy, hot, and deliciously seasoned! It was the only thing we were able to finish at the restaurant! Finally, the owners definitely deserve a shout out. They are exceptionally friendly, courteous, and quick with their service. You can tell they take pride in their food! This made dining in an overall pleasant experience.

Upon entering this restaurant, we were kindly greeted by the server at the front. We were then brought to a table on the upper level near the window which was near the railing therefore, was a tad tight. The music was lively however, not too loud. As well, the décor was set just right for a Mexican restaurant, with many decorations relating to the Day Of The Dead, which is a Mexican holiday. For my meal, I had settled on the pork carnitas without any onion or cilantro, while my daughter had the french fries, and my mother had the beef picadillo. I found that the wraps for the pork carnitas weren't too fresh however, the pork was a good amount, and tasted well-prepared. I would have liked to have some sort of a sauce or topping to go with the pork carnitas however, I only had the side order of diced avocado which was given, along with some Mexican inspired rice. Overall, the food was good however, it wasn't as good as I would have hoped. The prices were a tad high for what we had gotten however, I do respect that this is a family-owned business, and prices are high at every restaurant these days. The service was definitely great, with the server coming to check in on us as we dined, and filling up our water jug from time-to-time. I may come back here to try another item, as the food is definitely authentic, and well-prepared.
