When I saw it, I had a feeling it was the diamond in the rough. This place is cozy. And by that I mean there are only 4 tables, and one of them had boxes on it. Luckily there weren't a lot of people dining in. The main business is a grocery, but they do have a small menu and paletas and gelato. I ordered 2 lengua and 1 al pastor taco, my fiancé got 4 carne asada tacos. Everything was delicious and these are the best Al pastor tacos I've had. So flavorful! We couldn't leave without picking up some candies and 2 paletas for the car ride home. We will be back for more shopping and dinner again soon.

Their chips are thick, fresh and delicious. I love the sope because it's large and loaded with all the toppings. The tacos are traditional and just right. They always have candy available to buy. They even added a section with some fresh vegetables and grocery items. I look forward to going here anytime I'm near by! I highly recommend trying Tortilleria La Guerrera.

The layout of the place is rather unique, with a large outdoor area that seems to only be used at night. When I walked in it was lively but not packed, and we were sat quickly. I Put in our drink order and for whatever reason the cocktails took a bit longer than expected to come out, but that's where my criticisms end. The drinks were delicious and they didn't skimp on the alcohol. And our food came out quickly afterwards. The portions were very generous and the flavors were excellent. The sandwich was so good in fact that I housed half of it before I remembered to snap a picture. The El Rey appetizer was fantastic, but very heavy and oily, which may not be for everyone but was perfect for my tastes. My dining companion also loved his food. I left with not only extra skymilles, but a full belly and a great experience. Would recommend going out of your way for this place.

The three of us ordered the $15.99 3 white enchiladas platter and the $14.99 3 ground beef tacos platter to share, ate until we were full and still took home a to-go-box. The restaurant brought us extra plates and serving spoons so we could split the food into individual portions with ease. It's possible to substitute sides without an extra charge, and we love the freedom of being able to customize. I love the Mexican rice with refried beans. Therefore, I substituted the lettuce, tomato and sour cream "salad" side that comes with the three enchiladas for refried beans, making the sides Mexican rice and refried beans. The tacos came with cilantro rice, which tasted like standard cilantro rice. My mom preferred the Mexican rice instead. The tacos only come with one side and adding refried beans is not cheap; it's an additional $4.99. The tacos were stuffed and the filling overflowed onto the plate. The taco shell tasted good, but the shell wasn't up the task of holding all those ingredients and broken apart a little more than half way through. It was finished with knife and fork but still remained delicious. The chips and salsa are plentiful. They volunteered refills. We accepted extra salsa which we used for extra seasoning on the tacos. The restaurant decor is basic Mexican themed - substantial wood chairs, tables and booths. However, booths and chairs have both seats and backs padded for comfort. There is a stocked bar along the back wall, but it's not a "bar scene" place. It's an option for singles dining alone who don't want a table or a space to grab a drink while waiting for your party. There was a large television tuned to a sports station for entertainment. There is outdoor seating, which is directly off the shopping center's parking lot. Therefore, cars line the outdoor sidewalk/eating area. What the outdoor area lacks in ambiance, it makes up for by being dog friendly.

It's still the same family running it, and the quality has remained consistently excellent all these years. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot. Their salsa and guacamole are some of my favorites, the margaritas are fantastic, and the menu has so many options that it's honestly hard to decide what to order because everything sounds good. The service has always been friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do. My family and I have celebrated countless birthdays and special occasions here over the years, often bringing large groups because we know we can always count on a great experience. The staff does an excellent job, even when our party is large, and they consistently make everyone feel welcome. The restaurant is always clean and has a warm, inviting atmosphere, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. It's not easy for a restaurant to maintain this level of quality and consistency for over a decade, but they've done exactly that. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Mexican food with excellent service, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it.

I ordered two tacos de asada, 1 of alpastor, and 1 of barbacoa. They were pretty yummy! The alpastor taco was definitely my favorite very flavorful. I paid $8 for four tacos, which was enough food since the tacos are pretty big and they fill it with plenty of meat! Keep in mind these are real authentic Mexican tacos so make sure you specify if you don't want onions or cilantro when you order. They had both green and red salsa you can add (spicy but good). The only thing that kind of threw me off was that you pay the food on one side and if you get anything from the actually store (ex. A soda) you pay that in a separate cash register. And they have plenty of seating! Ladies were nice and food was bomb, I plan on coming back ! I heard they make a really delicious "Agua Chile" on the weekend

Hello Yelpers! This taco truck is surely a hidden gem! It is located in the Big Dog Saloon parking…read morelot. They only have a couple of tables to sit; however, if you arrive after the lunch rush which is usually after 1pm, you are sure to get a spot. Atmosphere: With this being a taco truck, they only offer outdoor seating and it isn't that bad. The location is near the road, so you do have the background of cars going by. Service: The ladies that run the truck are always pleasant and greet you with a smile. They are helpful and patient, especially if it's your first time. Despite there only being two people taking orders and cooking, the wait time is never terrible. We went on a "busy" day and we waited less than 15 minutes for food and we got to sit at a table. Pricing: They have a 3 taco minimum, however, that's okay since you'll be wanting more! For the regular tacos it's about $2.00/taco and for the supreme which comes with cheese, onions, cilantro, and onion, it's $2.50/taco. We get the beef and it's absolutely worth every dollar spent. Food: Now for the good stuff. Let's talk about the food. I used to work in the area where the truck is located and always hesitated to try it out. There definitely have been regrets of not trying it sooner! With this said, I get the regular beef (steak) tacos, which come with the meat, onions, cilantro, and limes. Needless to say, you don't need anything else because the flavor is there in the meat. To me, a squeeze of the lime brings the flavor out just enough that you don't need anything else. My wife enjoys the supreme with all the extra fixings, which is fine too. I would suggest getting the regular tacos first to really experience the flavors! We have also tried the birria tacos, the quesadillas, and the tostadas. All have been wonderful, flavorful, and worth every penny. Stop in and support this small, family owned business. It is authentic and doesn't disappoint. It'll leave you coming back for more... or if you're like us, 3 tacos just isn't enough and we end up ordering 6! Happy Travel Adventures and we hope you enjoy this hidden gem as much as we do!

Tacos were excellent. Lots of meat, good flavor. Good street tacos with cilantro and onion served with wedges of lime. They have hot sauces if you like things spicy; the green sauce which is the more mild sauce still has quite a kick. I haven't had the burrito but have been told it's giant! The menu isn't extensive, but offers a good selection. They had chicken, pork and beef for meat options; but had already run out of beef for the day by the time we had arrived. Payment via cash of credit. Order at the window and wait for your order. They have a cooler of soda (jaritos and Coca Cola); it was a busy lunch day when we went and drink options were running a bit low, so just keep that in mind. There are 2 tables with umbrellas if you want to have a bite outside. It's within walking distance from my office so I will definitely be going back!l
